Positive experience: I've been trying to contact the surgery for days, as I urgently need scripts. Waiting on hold today for 40 minutes, then the call was cut off. I'm in a different State and can't get a doctor's appointment here, so I'm desperate. Update: I appreciate the manager's response, but could not find a way to answer. I ended up paying $100 for an online doctor, as I was nearly out of some meds.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service. My child required just two stitches, yet we were turned away because the centre was closing in 10 minutes. We were instructed to drive half an hour to Nowra Hospital, where we then waited four hours for a treatment that took less than 10 minutes. There was a complete lack of empathy for an injured child, and we felt dismissed rather than supported. This was not the level of care we expected from a medical centre.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Jordan at reception for being so helpful and kind. She printed out my emailed pathology request today as I don't have a printer. I have spoken with her numerous times on the phone, and she is always the same as in person -- professional and friendly.

Positive experience: The only Doctor I have found at this practice who takes notice is Doctor Shaikh. He actually listens. I trust this Doctor.

Negative experience: A medical centre that doesnt offer in person appointments from 4pm onwards? Full time workers dont need to see a Dr apparently. Receptionist Rachell is quite rude.

Negative experience: All but one visit had a wait time of over 40 mins past appointment time (25mins). My appointment time doctors barely looked at me, sped through it and prescribed medication that has never helped. Poor service. Worst clinic I've been to in Australia.

Negative experience: My misses went to see one of the female doctors she was in a lot of pain and the dr was making it worse she gave no painkillers and just sent her back to the hospital and got details on her referral wrong we’re not happy at all

Negative experience: My usual doctor was on leave and I needed to see the first available doctor. I saw Dr Sheike? Was not impressed with his terrible manner, dismissed my concerns and when I told him I had pain in my ear he only looked in it when I asked him to. I asked for a script for another issue I had and he gave it to me but without the correct dosage. That made my condition worse as it was really important to get the right dosage asap within 24 hours. I was left to ring a pharmacist then poisons information to find out the correct dosage and to check I hadn't overdosed myself. My regular GP Dr Saha is very good but having this other doctor at this practice is of great concern for other patients who may put their trust in him unaware he is incompetent.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bransen Noel-Gough is amazing. Our first appointment was a telehealth, and I was surprised at his level of genuine care for my daughter, I now take my whole family to see him, and he never disappoints. Thank you

Negative experience: When calling to book receptionist will always ask why you want to see the dr and make you disclose your medical issue in order to gauge whether you’re worthy of the appointment. I once didn’t feel comfortable discussing it with them and was told because I didn’t tell them, they assume the issue wasn’t urgent enough and so they didn’t have appointments available, very uncomfortable booking practice

Negative experience: Terrible doctors, they don't do anything about very obvious urgent issues, they don't take you seriously. Receptionists are even worse, rude and completely ignore you. They also only care if you're a local. Never been to a doctor surgery that much of a joke. Worth the drive to nowra to see a decent doctor

Negative experience: I never know which building my doctor will be in as you continually change their rooms between different buildings, and this visit the nurse had been moved and the doctor had been moved

Negative experience: Was down on holiday from Sydney (I used to live in this area and go to school here) I forgot my Zoloft and needed antibiotics for my infected root canal (only half had been done by my dentist to let it heal) the older maybe 60’s blonde receptionist with piercing blue eyes (I only remember her eye colour because she used them to threaten me) was absolutely horrible and stared me down like a was from outer space (maybe the hijab threw her off) I was a little embarrassed to admit I needed Zoloft (an anti depressant) to the receptionist, I believe that’s a conversation I should have with the gp not a member of reception. The same receptionist then allowed two walk in patients to be seen as they were “locals” - this area has a horrible “locals only” attitude and incredibly ignorant to anyone outside of their “norm”. The younger member of staff was great and helpful so thanks to her (went to Vinnie high is how I remember her) so thanks to her and being accepting of others beliefs and how we chose to express ourselves. But to that other member I think at your big age you should be able to treat all humans with the respect and dignity they deserve as I was incredibly polite to you, maybe time to retire love?

Negative experience: Omg booked appointment aweek ago got there receptionist stated no bookings ……twice this has happened to me but I actually had it on my phone were it was booked . Then spoke to me like a child , I’m 56 I I would rather die before going to this practice again . In fact all my medical issues will be back to Sydney.

Positive experience: I cannot believe after going to this centre for a few years that I have to fill in a symptom’s for ? What is the point of going to the doctors if I am telling them before I go . Also if you have more then one complaint you may not be answered because there is not enough time ? What is the world coming to when you can’t just make an appointment and go to the doctors without stress seriously very strange set up .

Thanks for providing some feedback. It is not a requirement to complete the Better consult questionnaire, however the nature of general practice has changed significantly given the ongoing pandemic, with the stressors place on our current healthcare system pre screening can greatly limit risk and possible exposure to many patients. Negative experience: DISGUSTING - my mother moved down to the area in September last year from Sydney, she moved to retire, when she needed to go to the drs today they refused to see her because they aren’t taking any now patients! What a joke!! That is medical negligence! She had to call her Dr from Sydney and have a phone consult instead! How terrible is that! I’m so angry I don’t know what to say! I can completely understand they won’t take holdayers or people visiting, but if you can prove you have moved to the area and they still won’t see you! THAT IS SO WRONG!!! I AM JUST APPALLED AT THIS !

Just confirming you have the right medical centre? As we are one of the practices in the area who do indeed currently have our books open and one of the only Bulk Billing Services in the area.

We still do have some GPs that have closed there books at the centre but we also have new doctors who are taking on new patients.

Negative experience: Very poor service here. I just moved to the area and made an appointment 10 days in advance as I needed a script. They called to charge my appointment to another doctor 3 days prior then on the morning of the appointment which was a Friday they cancelled my appointment. After explaining my situation they just said sorry we’re booked out. Didn’t give me a very good impression of the place. I’m now going to a great doctor in Berry. Don’t waste your time with this lot, you’ll regret it.

I apologise that your experience was not satisfactory. I suspect that this occurred during a period where we had a lot of GP's of sick however that does not decrease your frustration. I am glad you have found a service provider that meets your needs but we are still here whenever you should require it.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting service. I recently changed doctors surgery and they charged a $15 admission fee and after 4 weeks it had not been for my appointment with my new doctor. So I have no previous medical information for my new doctor. We are in 2022 where everything is electronic so why does this sort of thing happen. Not good enough!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Reception staff are rude and not at all accommodating. Don't go here if you would prefer not to have your confidentiality breached. It is a real shame. Dr Pham himself is a lovely doctor and his family have worked hard to build their multiple practices.

Confidentiality is a key principal in our practice. It is never shared with people who do not have a need to know, to do so could be a dismissable offence. We take this very seriously.

Negative experience: Avoid. Poor customer/client service. Any attempt to contact will likely take at least 30 minutes for call to be answered

Negative experience: Called today May 2021 and was told "they are CLOSED to ALL NEW PATIENTS".

With the closure of several surgeries in the area we have taken on numerous new patients and we are at capacity. However each time a patient moves on we accept additional people. I apologise for the inconvenience but the Government has capped our GP numbers and will not allow us to replace GPs let alone recruit additional GP's.

Positive experience: I can’t fault the care I’ve received from the doctors at this practice, but I have to wonder why, every time I’ve been, there is at least 2 people before me, and I’m always waiting over 30 minutes to see my doctor. Why would there be so many people ahead of me unless they are double or triple booked?

Hi Belinda, unfortunately I cannot answer this question with any degree of specificity. The reason I cannot is because all patients have their privacy and some appointments run over time for reasons that cannot be discussed. The Doctors try to give each patient what they require and this often causes delays, whilst on other occassions appointments take less time than anticipated. I empathise with your frustration and we are always seeking to improve our service so I thank you for your feed back.

Positive experience: Why are the Drs constantly moved around? I’ve found another Dr I like and he has moved to Worrigee. You can’t have any kind of ongoing care. Very disappointing

Hi Pauline, yes the movement of Doctors is frustrating but largely beyond our control as an organisation. The Government determines how many GPs are in each area. Some GPs, whilst advancing their qualifications need to accumulate experience in different demographic areas and this is controlled by their college. Additionally, and most unfortunately, GP's also have areas where they would like to live which meet their needs ie Schools, community, family. Often rural locations do not meet their needs and they move. Just as I would not live back in a city, they may prefer city life to rural life. However we are always searching for the very best available GP's to ensure that the community has access to service. I apologise that it is not as stable as we would like.

Fantastic experience: Ive seen a few Doctors in my time but recently i have been seeing Dr Sara. She is a no nonense tell you straight doctor that has picked up so many issues by refering myself to specialists etc. So helpful and cares by following up immediately.

Fantastic experience: We met Dr Ray Haddad at Vincentia Market place Medical Centre. We were very fortunate to do so as he was only the doctor to pick something up about our son. As a result, we have followed him when he relocated to Vincentia Medical Centre on Halloran St. We are very pleased with the care he provides.

Negative experience: Constantly turn away when looking for medical emergency and sent to Hospital . Once for my daughter aged 2 and now my wife . Desk person is a joke . And won't use email referrals . Wasting Emergency staff time

Fantastic experience: Dr haddad is by far the best doctor in the area. He is so thorough and always answers any questions he never makes you feel rushed out of the doctor surgery! Very glad we have such a caring doctor around ☺️☺️

Negative experience: Had to see Dr Perera for a skin rash and told him I had already been using a topical cream for over a month so i asked for oral medication. He adviced against it and handed me a script for another cream that i walked into the chemist and found out I could buy off the shelf. Used that for a week and the rash got worse so i phoned and asked for the Dr to just write me another script for the stronger oral medication that i had asked for IN THE FIRST PLACE. I was told no and that I have to go in again for another appointment to be re assesed. What a waste of time and money!!

Positive experience: Expect a LONG wait. Put aside an extra 45mins just for waiting. Every time I've been here it is at least this long of a wait. I have waited longer than an hour before.
