Negative experience: One of tge worst medical centres I've ever seen. You made a booking at a specific time but you do t see tge doctor till 2 hours later. You should resct that our time is valuable and be professional with your customer service worst receptionist (Asian) was trying to be nice but that lady is so rude and pathetic. do not come here

Negative experience: I waited in line for an hour. I can't believe I've never seen a place move so slowly. When I arrived, there were three people in line and they told me to wait half an hour, but even after an hour, there were still four of us waiting for the doctor. This place is disgusting. I will never come back. It's not nice that they act like they enjoy making people wait.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 0900 with Dr M. Islam. But he didn’t came until 1100 . Unfortunately, I had to leave work to attend this appointment, and the long wait caused a lot of inconvenience. I believe everyone's time is valuable, and it’s important for professionals to respect their patients' time as well. I hope future appointments are managed better but don’t recommend this place to anyone based on my experience.

Negative experience: Receptionist is nothing but rude. I walked in at 3:30pm and as soon as I asked if there is any doctor available she took down the sign for the doctor with not one single person inside waiting and she tells me that they are not taking anymore patients even though they close at 5pm.

Negative experience: If only I could rate 0 STARS ⭐️ The worst receptionist is the Asian lady. She is very lazy, takes forever to do something and doesn’t show any care. The booking system is horrible, I booked an appointment for 12:30pm and ended up waiting an hour. Tell me how does this make sense? It’s not just one time I’ve had bad experiences with this old Asian receptionist but every time I’ve I visit the Medical centre.

Negative experience: Horrible management and the manager was useless. Long wait, clearly overbooked and double booked. I was told to come in at a specific time and ended up waiting for more than 2 hours. Needs better management system and possibly a new manager and I only went there because this was the only option at the time.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Nizam Uddin today for the first time and I can say he is not your average Dr He has just gotten a new patient as I was more than happy with his service. He has patience to explain everything and shows genuine care which is hard to find these days and I whole heartedly thank him for his time and professionalism. Negative experience: It’s a shame there isn’t space for a 0 star review. The doctor there was barred and could not prescribe any medications. After waiting for an hour (after he told me he could help) he simply said no, making a hospitalised patient wait with no help. He didn’t ask any questions around my injury or recovery and the entire consult was less than a minute. Dreadful experience, would not recommend.

Negative experience: WORST SERVICE EVER!! I called up 2 days ago on Thursday , to make an appointment to see Dr Uddin for my wife today Saturday 5th October 2024 , and asked to be the first patient when the Dr arrives at 1pm, and it was agreed with the receptionist and booked in. Me and my wife arrived at 12:45pm today for my wife’s appointment at 1pm, and the receptionist tried to tell me there was some confusion with my booking , and tried to put me at the back of the waiting list in a crowded room of patients, and I was having none of that. The receptionist told me to speak to the manager. The manager came out after hearing the commotion, and reassured me I would be the first to see Dr Uddin. Once the dr came, the manager spoke in Hindi to him, so I couldn’t know what was said. he called out another patient, and I explained to him the situation, and he didn’t care and said that he was going by whoever is on his list, and I feel betrayed because he has known me for.more than 10 years, and is treating me like I’m some stranger. Afterwards that manager who spoke to me earlier, then told me to go find a doctor somewhere else. I will never come to this place again. Making an appointment is a waste of time, as it matters nothing to them. Better yet, do not come to this place at all

Negative experience: I have Telehealth appointment with dr anowara begum today and I just wanted to give my feedback zero star..she has no manners to speak to patient she even don’t know how to do proper customer service as a doctor …she was so rude and saying she have policies and rules to follow I just asked her for medical certificate as when you made an appointment the instruction says do not enter the clinic if you have flu fever or cold and made a Telehealth appointment instead so that’s what I did… she is asking me what is flu ? What she think I am stupid and don’t know what is u flu and I am telling her my symptoms I have done a swab test at my workplace I work in hospital as a nurse and need a certificate for that because I can’t enter with this symptoms at my workplace too but I got positive for rhinovirus at my swab test results … if she has rules to follow she can ask DHM pathology to give her my results so she can review … but no she was telling me why I don’t see a different doctor.. which I see at first so he can give me certificate , well that’s my workplace and that doctor is not working today and that’s why I choose to made the appointment with this clinic which is near to my house , well don’t treat the patients like animals they have issue that’s why they coming to ur door and asking for help as a doctor you should listen and respect other people too I totally understand you have to check the patient but u can ask politely no need to be rude and disrespectful ! Please avoid this doctor worst doctor ever I met !

Negative experience: Dr Abdullah. Needs to retire. He Dosent have skills. He prescribed meds but Dosent tell you how to take. I have to ask the chemist. He’s just not helpful or welcoming I found. Shows O concern.His manners 0. I always leave feeling worse than when I arrived. He just Dosent care, is rude if he bothers to talk, just stares at his computer. Never looks me in the eye. Why do i go there.? Well it was convenience actually, close to home. Why did I give 2 stars? Well that can be for Dr Uddin who I have seen interact with my daughter & partner. He was pretty good.Have since changed Drs yay.

Fantastic experience: Very thankful to the ongoing care the staff that Berala Medical Clinic give to myself, parents and my children. We have seen all doctors, have had physio and have seen the nurse there for bloods. The staff are diverse and friendly.

Doctor is ok but reception make u sick .when u call to book appointment she talk very rude worth and when u go to doctors again she starts to make u headache she have problems with herself. Negative experience: On 18 Nov 2023 Saturday afternoon, I came to the clinic and waited for 1.5 hour to consult the Doctor. The on duty reception staff was rude and unprofessional. Allow people to jump the queue with an unreasonable reason and making a chaos in the clinic!

Negative experience: The service by Dr Uddin is wonderful however fronting up at reception and being told there are 3 patients in front but there are more patients being placed in front and you’re waiting over an hour with a 2 year old is quite painful. I don’t know if the receptionist placed patients in front or she miscounts or making a booking and being told she can’t find your booking.

Negative experience: After seeing the doctor on Thursday, I went to get my scans & x-ray done on the same day. I sent an email to Berala Medical Centre on Monday to see if my scans & x-ray had arrived. No reply. So this morning, Wednesday, I gave the centre a call. I got the dreaded rude receptionist (older woman, Asian background, quite hard to understand, impatient). I've had interactions with her over the years whenever I've been unfortunate enough to come in on her shift and witnessed and experienced her rudeness to myself and others first hand. I have no idea how she's been able to retain a job there for this long to be honest. But this morning, she was extra special. I said I sent an email on Monday to check if my scans had arrived. She said I should call the Medical Imaging Centre. I asked if she could check if my scans had arrived at the clinic. She said, "How long did they say it arrive?". I said, "2 days". She said, "Then it's here okay?". I asked once again, can you please check to see if they're on my medical file before I come in. And then she gave an exasperated sigh, "Date of birth". I gave her my details, and she confirmed that the scans had arrived. And right in the middle of me asking to make an appointment, she goes, "Yeah, yeah...." and hangs up the phone. I called back again, and she avoids picking up the phone for a long time, but she eventually answered, whereupon I told her she's being extremely rude, and that she hung up on me. She said that I had said "Yeah, yeah" on the phone, and that's why she ended the call. I had to argue that no, I was trying to make an appointment when she hung up on me. It's just unbelievable that this woman has gotten away with this sort of an attitude for so long! I was finally able to make an appointment to see the doctor about my results. Whether or not there's any point to making an appointment, we'll see. This place constantly puts walk-ins in front of you, even if you have an appointment. You guys already have some better receptionists, they're younger, brighter, and with a warmer and willingly helpful attitude and they know how to provide good customer service. Give them more shifts! Time to kick this stuffy old rude one to the kerb!

Fantastic experience: Dr Nizam Uddin is perhaps the best GP in Australia. I have a background in health sciences, so i know when i meet an excellent doctor. I drive 30 minutes to see him. My mother, wife and my children, and now even my grand daughter is looked after by him. He is the best!

Negative experience: Worst medical centre I have ever visited. From the receptionist to the doctor i saw, utterly awful. Doctor Uddin was late to the appointment and then very aggressive during the consultation which ended up with him yelling at me to leave. I cannot recommend, Just read the other reviews. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Everytime i have booked an appointment I am always seen AFTER walk in patients which is pointless why offer appointments if you’re just going to let your walk ins be first preference which is then resulting in me having to wait up to an hour minimum every single time. In fact I once waited in there so long I wrote a complaint and a lady from the office came out in to the waiting room and spoke rudely to me in front of other patients as well as staff after being unprofessional over the phone responding to my complaint. This is not the first time that walk ins have been prioritised over myself or other patients waiting for their appointment as I have witnessed many others on my visits have the same issue and when it’s brung up staff will act like they don’t know what you’re talking about usually. I am a single mother of a toddler and at times booking an appointment is easier as my toddler does not wish to wait hours on end and neither do I as I unfortunately don’t have free time to be sitting there all day waiting so following the sign that you have which clearly states at your counter that appointments are priority over walk ins would be amazing!!!

Negative experience: Dr uddin KILLED my father. He didn’t look at any of his symptoms, sent him home instead of checking him he went home and died!!!!! He is horrible nightmare incompetent doctor. Knows nothing about being a doctor! This doctor could have easily told us to take my father to the hospital cause is incapable of doing his job and my father would have been alive today! I hope you get a taste of your own medicine!

Negative experience: I fully agree with the FIRST 14 reviews. This place is terrible. One of the reviews said don't go there. I agree with that too. On the last three occasions I was kept waiting and waiting. The last time I had to wait for my jab in a crowded room during the height of covid because the doctors were late arriving once again despite me having an appointment. So many times they are late. I don't go there any more. I recommend you DO NOT GO THERE either.

Fantastic experience: Both Dr Abdullah and Dr Uddin are great doctors. I recently had spinal surgery and Dr Abdullah was my referring doctor. He always treated me with respect, listened to my worries and I could tell he really cared about me and my situation. Both Uddin and Abdullah are great GP'S, and in glad I found them.
