WAMCentre was opened on 2nd December 2002 and is conveniently located inside Warrawong Plaza. The majority of our GP’s bulk bill concession card holders that register with the practice for My Medicare. We are host to some of the most reputable GP’s in the region. Complete family medicine is our passion and available to you 7 days a week. Although we do offer appointments for our patients, our doctors will see patients if possible without an appointment. WAMCentre is a multi-cultural surgery seeing patients from all cultural backgrounds.

Negative experience: This is the worst medical centre I've ever been to. They charge so much for absolutely everything. I paid $75 to see a doctor for 2 minutes just for her to say I need to pay another $95 to see a nurse because she doesn't do ear wax removal. They will even charge your baby a $130 new patient fee even though babies are supposed to be bulk billed. You can't get any rebate there from medicare for seeing a nurse. The receptionists are rude and uncaring. They have no people skills. Horrible place. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Great medical centre, I have been a patient for 15 yrs. Polite and helpful receptionists, the nurses are great, as are other allied health providers I’ve seen. There are plenty of good doctors available. Dr Jasim in particular is wonderful and has helped me through my workers compensation ordeal. I would highly recommend this medical centre.

Fantastic experience: I’m always humbled by the front line staff at the counter, the GP’S and the support staff ( nurses)are always treating my medical requirements with the upmost dignity and respect. Negative experience: I came here twice and had the worst experience of my life. I come 30 minutes earlier than my appointments and let in almost 3 hours after our appointment. They let people in randomly with no appoints. This medical centre is behind with really inpatient receptionist.

Negative experience: Only booked here as it was the only doctor available for my sick newborn. Appointment was 45mins late, with zero heads up from admin staff when arriving. Don’t feel as though I left with any information or reassurance from Dr. Pacey. Although she was pleasant she didn’t really explain much to us. Unfortunately will not be returning. It’s also more expensive than other practices in our area.

Negative experience: Waited 2.5hrs for a pathology form to be emailed at Dapto IML which didn’t happen, had to drive to Warrawong to pick up form. By the time I got to Warrawong WAM, IMP was closing which caused me extreme distress as I needed to confirm if I was CoVid Positive for work. I now have the flu & make a Tele Health appointment & never received the call. I would not recommend WAM to my family or friends which is dissapointing as they used to be good

Negative experience: I went there for help with my chronic pain, only because of our doctor not being open. Once delving into my file they just turned me away to enjoy Xmas in all sorts of pain. The duty of care was none existing. Dr hermen was very rude and very none helpful. Disgusting treatment.

Negative experience: Warning warning warning !!! Enter at your own peril this organisation has no idea what they're doing if you value your health stay away. Why would I contact your manager when I had an issue at the time and it fell on deaf ears the staff was very rude and wouldn't listen to my concerns.

Negative experience: Dr wouldn't provide me with a script for Melatonin for my daughter who requires it to sleep as she said she "didn't have enough knowledge of that medication to prescribe it". My daughter has been taking it every night for 6 months this would have been at least the 10th script I've had for it. I unexpectedly ran out and needed the script today to help her sleep tonight and the Dr refused, despite me telling her she's taken it for months- I've received scripts from a multitude of other Drs who don't know my child with no problems. I will be left with twins who will be screaming for hours unable to relax to sleep tonight because a trained Dr did not have the knowledge to prescribe Melatonin, very very disappointed with the service.

Negative experience: Rude staff that don't seem to have any clue what they're doing, long wait times for the doctor and at the desk and lying about bulk billing. The website says there is only one doctor that charges a private rate but they all do. Not only that but I was charged $130 when I was in the room for less than 10 minutes. Will never be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Was taken in as a new client without any fuss. Was made to feel very welcome by the lovely woman at reception. Was kept fully informed about times and such. The Dr. I saw was great. He listened and helped me , he was very efficient and kind.

Negative experience: I arrived for a 10:30 appointment with Dr Herman however my appointment was at 10:15. My mistake but Dr Hermann refused to see me, stating I wasn’t on time for my appointment. The Dr I normally see was away and I have waited anywhere from an hour up to three hours past my appointment time to be seen by that Dr.

Negative experience: Been to this centre for over a decade. Will never step foot in the door again. When only one Dr can prescribe medications and lets you down. So many times I've had my appointment changed because Dr is unavailable. So today instead of walking in sick I made a telehealth appointment. Then told no Dr will write my prescriptions. They put the blame on me. Now trying to get into a more reliable centre who can treat their patients with actual care. Do not even bother with this place

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing the delightful, knowledgeable, considerate and caring Dr Jasim since 2014 and his skill, patience and talent as a GP is outstanding. The receptionists always do their best to assist in any way they can, the nurses are helpful and kind and although there can sometimes be a bit of a wait, the care is first rate! I appreciate Dr Jasim’s recommendations for alternative lifestyle choices rather than just prescribing medications. Thoroughly recommend this practice. Donna ‍♀️❤️

Negative experience: I have been to this practice many times over 20 years and I don't know why I keep coming back. The longest wait times (2hours) even though you have a booking. Also I had seen a doctor at another practice for my kids immunisation but their nurse had called in sick so I wanted just to come and get the vaccination. They advised I needed to see the doctor again despite seeing one 3 hours and paperwork filled which is just about making extra money.

Negative experience: Why call yourselves 'Accident and Emergency'? I hobbled into the centre with an ankle injury to be rudely informed that 'there are no doctors'. When I sat down to phone for a friend to pick me up I was told I can't do that there, I stated I was in considerable pain and was ignored. At least give your staff some empathy training. Shame on you.

Negative experience: Completely incompetent, DOES NOT LISTEN to your problems. I tried to explain but he knew better. Escorted me out barred me then called security. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!°°°°°°°EVER. Then refused to hand over my paperwork. I am a Gold Member Private and copped this. Because of a medication reaction. BRUTALLY Peered down upon & treated as an outsider because of what I felt is my Anglo Australian heritage and my lack of communication in a foreign language. Sick to the stomach with this attitude towards Australians. I was suffering a severely limited mental capacity due to a horrendous reaction of fungal toenail tables. I was denied any help I was removed by security I am permanently barred from this 2nd rate schemozzle and saw me ultimately fall back into the abyss of alcohol dependence for a few months additional recovery time saw 9 months of my life disappear with now ongoing & eternal medical conditions. Thank you Warrawong A&E the only place for you would be on the banned list of corn flake certified practitioners. AVOID AVOID AVOID...

Negative experience: I arrived at this practice at 12-50pm yesterday Thursday,I was directed to take a seat outside the door of the nurses room, I saw the nurse and she saw me sitting waiting about 5-8 minutes ,suddenly she walked out of her room and put a “post it “ on the board stating gone to lunch back in 40 minutes, I am approaching 80 years old, I wanted my usual injection it takes about a minute usually ,finally it wasn’t quite 1-00 pm I must add , also I was the only one waiting, not impressed to say the least.

Fantastic experience: I like this medical centre. It's very multicultural. The podiatrist is lovely. The pathology collector is reliable, unlike a certain other one in another part of Warrawong who wanders off and shuts the shop when it suits. The nurses do a good job of bandaging for just $10.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I arrived at the Warrawong Medical and Accident Centre at the Warrawong shopping centre last Saturday (29/6/2019) just after 9am, after telephoning the centre just before 8:30am. I was told there would be no bookings, so just come in and wait. I arrived, filled out the record sheets for new clients after putting down my name. I said I would take the first available doctor. I was told by the receptionist the wait was around 45 minutes with two doctors working. I thought great I won’t go to another centre, as this one won’t be long. Then I waited, and waited, and waited 45 minutes gone; then waited 90 minutes gone, check at the counter in case there was a misunderstanding, no my name was there, then waited 120 gone, told I was next in line, waited, finally around 3 hours later (around 12:15pm) I saw a doctor. It seemed weird that people seemed to be coming in later in the morning and they were going in before me, perhaps they put their names down well before me??? Hmmm. I saw for about 10 minutes. I felt like I wasted 3 hours of my life.

Fantastic experience: I see dr mark naim you won't find a better doctor. He never Rushes a appointment. He is very polite & makes sure you understand what he is doing. Longest wait has been 10 minutes.The reception staff need a medal they are professional in what they do. If you respect them they will respect you.Simple.

Fantastic experience: Having only ever seen one doctor who has been wonderful, caring and attentive since day one, but now only works two days now and referred me to Dr Khosa at WA&M. Dr Khosa was not only attentive, but truly cared and showed compassion after i shared only a fraction of all the surgeries I've endured and a genetic medical condition that's not going anywhere and more to face. He was truly a gentleman and shared the same beautiful attributes as our other only GP. The staff were so patient and kind and worked tirelessly whilst i was waiting to assist and show everyone the same courtesy. Thank you to the staff and Dr Khosa.

Negative experience: The receptionist at Warrawong today was the meanest lady ever. My baby was crying and I asked her politely if she could hurry up. was in Line for twenty minutes and I was called back again and made to wait fifteen mins more. I understand busy. But she was so rude to me and stared me down like trying to intimidate me. Have the worst customer experience. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Would give more stars if was an option. We are not from the area and i seen signs from my son being really sick through the night so needed to get him checked and it was closing time when i called the receptionist helped us no questions asked to see the dr . The Dr was absolutely amazing with my kids he gave us the treatment we needed i thank you so much dr Navneet for being so caring for my childs health... recommend!

Negative experience: Even with a booked appointment, I've still regularly had to wait over an hour to see a Doctor. Today again, no exception. They do walk in appointments 7 days a week and have pathology onsite. That's pretty much the only positive thing I can say

Fantastic experience: Dr James Herrmann and Dr Anoot Jalota are amazing, caring people and are excellent at their job. Sometimes there can be a long wait but just play a game on your phone and relax. The place gets busy sometimes because it is popular.

Fantastic experience: This is a a Medical Centre/Clinic. I did give it a 5star as i used to go there and found the staff very polite and the drs very attentive to my concerns at the time. I never felt like I was "just a number" Yes, like all medical businesses they can run late but sometimes emergencies happen that require the Dr's atttention, or people take longer than expected. I have found myself in the same situation. Sometimes i needed much less time than i thought and at othertimes i needed more. Either way, i always found i recieved the appropriate treatment and on my couple of emergencies i had during my time there as a patient, i was extremely grateful for their services!

Negative experience: Told 1hour to 1.5hour wait, 3hours still waiting. Not happy would of gone elsewhere if informed of extensive wait. Finally got into Dr and he took two phone calls without even excusing just rude. WONT BE BACK.

Negative experience: Most arrogant rude and disrespectful staff we've come across. We were running late to a podiatry appointment so we did the right thing and called ahead, a very pleasant Wendy answered the phone and we notified her of the situation, she advised that there were two other patients waiting before us and that it should be fine. When we got there the receptionist Amber didn't want to listen to us and was the most rude and arrogant person we've come across, instead of listening to us to understand the situation she got very heated and was almost screaming at us and wanted to cancel the appointment because we were late! I kept on calming her down and talked to her calmly and nicely to get her to understand the situation but instead she kept raising her voice and threatened to call security which she did in the end because I told her I would report her behavior to her management. Warrawong medical should feel ashamed to poorly select such rude staff to be the face of their business. In all fairness the ladies upstairs in the medical centre are very pleasant and helpful, however further training and anger management should be offered to Amber before she's left alone to deal with people a skill she clearly lacks.

Negative experience: Don't come here if you have a job that you need to get back to at some point! On a Monday morning this 'medical centre' has 1 doctor on and appointments take priority despite the fact that people turn up 40 mins early for their appointment. Expect to wait an hour plus. Apparently I should have scheduled my illness in. I would have been better off going anywhere else.
