Fantastic experience: Professional and friendly service. Could not recommend a better doctor and staff.

Positive experience: I went to a standard skin check here because I heard good things about the clinic. Well my experience was a bit different, I was quite disappointed with the skin check. The staff and the Dr were nice but I felt very rushed and the Dr didn’t even check my whole body. He said he checks my concern area and that’s it. I had to kind of like pushing him to check other areas too. I was in and out within 3 minutes and constantly been pushed to have the computer skin check instead. Not everyone can afford an almost $300 check, and for my $165 standard check (which is expensive enough) I expected more. Honestly I got better care with free skin checks elsewhere. I feel I wasted my money. I believed for this price they will be more thorough. Probably the doctor has good knowledge seeing all the good reviews but overall I’m disappointed with the price/value of the service. I believe they shouldn’t treat patients differently just because they can’t afford the more expensive service

Fantastic experience: Very good service. Seems to have many test services available in-house so there’s no need to go elsewhere. Dr Adel Habib is very thorough so I’d certainly recommend this medical center.

Fantastic experience: FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. Skin cancer testing using AMAZING NEW TECHNOLGY. It is a non invasive and brief AI/computer based body scan which determines any areas of concern (it sees every possible mark on your body - I had over a hundred - even if the eye cannot), then it shows those of concern - I had 5. Then it grades them by severity and is able to tell you next year if there is any change. COMPLETELY GAME CHANGING. Dr Habib checks any rated over 0.5%. And Sam his assistant was terrific. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF CONCERNED ABOUT SKIN CANCER. DebR

Fantastic experience: Excellent doctor. Dr Habib is truly listening to his patients and takes the necessary time for the consultation. He is an expert in Skin Cancer Management and certainly a GP, who I highly recommend for general health issues and skin cancer management.

I have been getting my skin checked here using the full body scan for a couple of years. Between the scan and doctor Habib thoroughly analysing the results, I finally have full faith in my skin check. On one of my first checks, a melanoma was detected and was swiftly removed. Fantastic experience: My husband had skin cancer checked and removed in other clinics before, but has never had the level of care, respect, thoroughness and surgical skills that we find in this clinic. After my husband's first body scan and surgeries to remove cancer cells by Dr Habib, we were so impressed by the excellent skills of Dr Habib and the warm, friendly atmosphere of this clinic that we transferred to be under the care of Dr Habib. That was three years ago. And we are very glad that we made that decision. Dr Habib is very kind, knowledgeable and competent. After listening patiently to our concerns and questions, he would always explain to us in detail the procedures of investigations and, if appropriate, the pros and cons of treatment options. Despite his busy schedules, he would not hesitate to offer us an earlier follow-up appointment when necessary, even when it might mean that he has to take a shorter lunch break. Elizabeth, the practice manager and nurse, always greets us with a friendly smile and is gentle and helpful in all the procedures we have in the clinic. (Ingrid, the nurse from NZ who has left, was very kind and helpful, too.) Emily, the medical receptionist, is proactive, thoughtful and helpful. Nothing is too much for her, from relaying our enquiries to the doctor to tracking our lab reports. All in all, we feel that we are in very good hands and deeply appreciate being cared for as a whole person by the professional team at the Sovereign Medical Centre.

Negative experience: So dodgy, I will never return to this medical shop. Charged $89 for consult when I was told it was free. I work in the same centre,we send clients to them all the time I was literally in his room for 5mins ,I waited longer. So disappointed, discussing and so sneaky.

Fantastic experience: I had a great 5 star experience at the Runaway Bay Clinic. It started with Practice Manager Nevine fitting me in at short notice to have a full body scan. RN Elizabeth conducted the body scan talking me through every step of the procedure with great knowledge. Dr Habib finished off with a consultation of the body scan results explaining what steps need to be actioned straight away. The clinics body scan machine is well worth having done as it can pick up melanoma where the naked eye can miss. Thank you for your wonderful customer service from start to finish.

I’ve now found him at Sovereign CosMedics❣️The staff on reception are fabulous friendly and helpful. The Nurse who did all our vaccinations was informative and extremely professional . The Dr has welcomed each of my family members and performed extremely thorough tests to gain baseline assessments and aided in a smooth transition of our ageing parent to the Gold Coast. We are so impressed with this we now have every confidence in continuing our health journey with this practice .
