Fantastic experience: I was a walking patient at Medical One a couple of weeks ago, My son had an infected scar on his toe and the staff let us in, in the last minutes on Thursday night and after that we visited doctor Sam. Dr Sam is extremely nice, gentle and friendly with my son and after that he did not charge us for the visit. This centre have incredibly nice doctors and staffs.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this clinic for a very long time. The staff are friendly and very helpful..Most of the time I have been treated by Dr Steven Zebic. I have found Dr Zebic to be an Amazing doctor and very knowledgeable.I always walk away knowing that I have been given the best care. I never feel rushed and always listen to. He is also a very nice person that really cares about his patients. If you’re looking for a new doctor, Dr Zebic is the one for you.

Negative experience: Everything is always about money these days. I had a telehealth call ($100) because I was throwing up constantly. 6 minutes on the phone. The doctor asked if I could come in but because I was in the toilet every 10 minutes I said I can't. Doctor said I could come in the next day bulk billed. My stomach is killing me still so tried to make an appointment. Said the doctor is sick so have to pay. I said can't another doctor just bulk bill and was told it's up to the doctor, but wouldn't ask one. I said they are getting paid through bulk billing anyway but no help. Who cares about patients these days its all about the money. Already paid $100 for 6 minutes and now they want more. Think people are made of money.

Negative experience: Been going here for years was always 80 dollars there abouts. Withing 6 months walked $140 for 5 min now $110 for phone counciltation for bloody 30 seconds. You can't be serious? I'm changing this clinic straight away, going back to me doctor airport West . Dr Jal and Dr Nguyen are the only decent doctors in the place too. Last year went in for bloating had a scan then Khadid told me I had an irrevisable borwl disease... Camera up the colon by Dr Jal, wasn't a simple thing wrong with me. Why the price hike? Absolutely ridiculous. Telling everyone I know and that's many never to go back there. Highway robbery

Fantastic experience: I’m not a patient at this clinic. I came for a blood test today, but I happened to overhear the reception staff advising patients of an unexpected changes to doctors rosters. I was so very impressed with how the reception staff handled the matter, especially when many patients were disappointed. They were professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Medical One services since moving to the area 5 years ago, I have been seeing Dr Iresha Kankanamalage for some time now and cannot speak high enough of her. She is caring and thorough and always makes me feel valued and listened too. She goes the extra mile, suggesting what she thinks I might need. Negative experience: I was a patient at this clinic for over 15 years, seeing various doctors throughout that time. However, a few years ago, I noticed a significant decline in the quality of care. I often felt rushed out of appointments, without having enough time to properly discuss my health concerns or receive the care and advice I needed. Additionally, these appointments became increasingly more expensive, yet they rarely lasted for more than two minutes. What was once a clinic that prioritised the health and well-being of its community now feels like a business that is more concerned with profits than patient care. I have since moved to a different clinic and, unfortunately, have heard similar experiences from family and friends who I am writing on behalf of. Consequently, they have also decided to change clinics for similar reasons. If you are seeking a healthcare provider that shows genuine care and empathy towards patients and actually takes the time to ensure that their patients are heard and looked after, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The only time I will visit this clinic now, is if I'm desperate and my regular providers are closed.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended to see Dr Williams and a few weeks prior I saw Dr Srinivasan. I always leave knowing I have been given the best medical care and advice for my current condition. Dr Williams has been my family Dr for over 20 years and now see’s all my kids!

Fantastic experience: I am really grateful for Dr Nguyen, I had a knee problem and he referred to me to a great phsiotherapist, and it has helped to solve the knee problem by building up the relevant muscles and strength of my leg gradually and effectively, thank you Dr Nguyen!!

Fantastic experience: Reception staff and Dr Malathi Srinivasan were amazing, went above and beyond to ensure that everything went well for travel vaccinations. I felt comfortable with them and really appreciated all the extra travel advice offered by Dr Srinivasan who seems to genuinely care about her patients while being efficient and effective. Would come back if I needed another travel vaccination or as a regular GP.

Fantastic experience: Great service, friendly staff, amazing doctors. Went in and saw Dr Srinivasan and she was hands down the most caring and most helpful doctor I have ever been two. Got my injections for Bali and she was just amazing. Sue at the front desk was also very lovely and helped with Chemist warehouse when they had issues with my script. All in all great clinic with great staff. Will be back.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and receptionist are always willing to go above and beyond. The doctors are knowledgeable and caring and the reception staff are extremely pleasant and are always monitoring the waiting room to make sure that the patients are ok. I have seen 1st hand the receptionist asking whether someone is ok whilst offering some water.

Negative experience: Dr Tim is a dedicated doctor and so kind to my parents. HOWEVER the fact that we had to always wait for him 30mins to 1 hour every single time we visit is definitely unacceptable. Appointment at 11am and had to wait until 12 o'clock. By the time we get out of the clinic we were all starving. Seriously if you dont think you can meet all of your patients during the day then pls do not accept back to back bookings. If its not because we need a Vietnamese speaking GP as per my parents preference, I would have sent my parents to my GP instead since they are always on time as a way to show their respect to patients.

Negative experience: Have been going to medical one for a number of years, disappointed with recent dealings. Firstly booked appointment online and received confirmation however when a reminder was not received rang and was told there was no appointment, and there have been issues with the online booking system, and fully booked. Secondly rang reception to change a face to face appointment to telehealth as my partner was ill and unable to attend when no phone call was received another call to reception and was advised the appointment had not been changed to telehealth. Very poor customer service, and disappointed with reception team.

Negative experience: I visited this clinic with my partner, hoping for attentive care. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. Dr Sam Kdade lacked empathy and failed to listen to my partner’s concerns, showing a total disregard for his feelings—a disappointing lack of patient care. The only upside was the kind receptionists.

Negative experience: Extremely long wait times, even with an appointment. Waited 50mins past my scheduled appointment time two days in a row. Left feeling that the received care isn't worth the hassle and price.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been attending this clinic to see Dr Iresha for over 7 years. I have seen Dr Iresha throughout both my pregnancies and my young children have formed a great relationship with her. Dr Iresha is thorough in her work and will always take the time to understand and investigate all health concerns, no matter how small. She is really friendly and warm, and always makes my children feel comfortable when visiting. We are so grateful to have met Dr Iresha and couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this clinic since I was a kid. Moved to another clinic because it was getting a bit expensive but came back because there was no one like Dr Nitin, he’s down to earth and takes the time to explain things to you. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly and I would recommend this clinic over the rest.

Fantastic experience: I have always had exemplary care and sound advice from Dr Thiem Nguyen at Taylors Lakes MedicalOne for many years. Reception staff and nurses have always been friendly, courteous and efficient. In Dr Nguyen’s absence (on holidays), he introduced me to Dr Steven Zebic, who seamlessly took over my care. I commend both of them.

Negative experience: I would not recommend going here. I came with my partner for his consultation with Dr. Nitin Mathur and as we were leaving my partners consultation, I asked Dr. Nitin Mathur to confirm weather a script I already had from another doctor was an active or inactive vaccine, we weren’t even in the consultation room when I asked this question. For this one question, I was charged a $105.04 consultation fee ontop of my partner also paying for a consultation fee. This is unacceptable and I have been completely railroaded by this medical practice. This is not the way a healthcare professional should operate.

Negative experience: This place is a a scam. They will try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Would not recommended whatsoever, nothing but bad experiences with all staff members I have met.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the clinic for many years and am appreciative of the care and treatment provided to me. Dr Rohatgi has taken excellent care of all of my health issues, Sadly, I am having to consider moving to another practice as I am an age pensioner and since bulk billing ceased and up-front payment is required, find the cost difficult.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Medical One for 26 years. I have nothing but good words for the Receptionists, Practice Managers and Doctors. Always willing to help and support you. Especially when I call for an urgent appointment for face to face or phone consult with one of the Doctor's. If it is urgent they always make sure to see you.

Fantastic experience: The staff and doctors at this medical one are outstanding. They go above and beyond to help with finding you an appointment to suit also the doctors are Knowledgeable and happy to give their advice. The only downside is that they charge for children until 15 years of age. Due to all the illness that children develop during the first 5 years of their lives, it would really make a difference knowing we wouldn't be getting charged as it's a constant battle specially during winter. Thank you to the reception staff for all making us feel welcome and trying their best to find us an appointment with a doctor.

Positive experience: Usually it's my partner and not myself who reviews. Medical Ones website states Medical One is a leading provider of healthcare services in Victoria and South Australia. I truly believe this somewhat. What price should one place on their health? I realize nowadays in our busy lives everything has become faster and impersonal. I have been coming to this clinic for over 25 years it was my family clinic with that personal service or at least made to feel that way. If you did followups even if your doctor was not there you would be only charged the medicare fee. Fair enough. About 10 years ago it started to get really expensive to see the doctor there so I changed clinics. Was it a coincidence or was this other clinic really not doing their job properly. I decided to go back to Medical One as better the devil you know, there one of the doctors that has been there a very long time asked when was the last time I had a full checkup. due to getting on in age. I was diagnosed correctly and now I'm receiving the correct treatment. Okay so the front desk staff aren't that friendly, or you have had to wait awhile or maybe we are just having a bad day there are other greater problems in life BUT Peter when one has a 5 minute telephone consult for a repeat script charging $82.00 is absurd amount especially during these hard times.

Negative experience: Well it started badly “have you a mask“ no “we can supply with one a $1” this is April 2023 Not even hospitals require you wear a mask and they provide one free if you did.. Money driven not customer driven. Got my Covid booster and I want be back

Negative experience: Very unhappy customer- had my 7 month old baby who has been projectile vomiting. I asked the receptionist to can I wait at the back waiting area and she said you can’t do that (even though I do so every other time) you can go wait outside instead (it’s 16 degrees in Melbourne today). So I waited outside in the freezing cold with my baby who vomited while I waited for 30 minutes, so I can protect him from getting more sick and others around. She was unapologetic and rude, will not be returning.

Negative experience: The worst customer service I have ever received, I’m not one to make post reviews but I was disgusted by the lack of help I received from front staff member. On her mobile phone to what seemed to be a friend laughing and carrying on about while I was standing there waiting. Missing calls from the main line. Other clients waiting. Should be disgusted. Once I get to her extremely rude. Don’t know if there’s something going on but not professional at all.

Negative experience: I came in with my mother who had a very deep cut and they reassured us we would be seen by a doctor, she was bleeding quite badly. 30 minutes later after waiting, the lady at the front desk said we cannot be seen because another patient had to be seen before us and they didn't have time, when there was still 2 and a half hours before close. We got turned away whilst my mother was bleeding out, such disgusting service/behaviour by people who are meant to serve us with best care for health within our community. The manager said 'this is not an emergency go wait 6 hours at the emergency' whilst my mum was bleeding and in pain, so disappointing.

Negative experience: You should be ashamed to call yourself doctors and front line workers! My mother got turned away today while she had blood gushing out of her hand from a very deep cut. If I could give 0 stars I would!! Do not go to this clinic if you want to be taken seriously. I have been a patient here since I was a child and best believe I will never return or take my family here again. Shame on you all

Negative experience: Poorest and most unprofessional clinic I have ever seen My mum came in with a huge cut on her palm and denied to see her with the clinic still being open for another 2.5 hours Tried to talk to the manager but she didn’t bother to get off her chair to see the situation while my mum was continuously bleeding. Fantastic experience: Very helpful reception staff, everytime I have visited I can see they have to put up with rude and impatient patients but the ladies at front desk always keep their calm and get the job done day in and day out.

Fantastic experience: I agree about the support/receptionists - they're in the wrong industry. However the doctors are by far very responsive to emergency type conditions. I attended there with thunderstorm asthma like symptoms and made enough noise to be seen by Dr Malathi and she immediately got to work. She was responsive, and was able to settle my condition within an hour. Greatly appreciated her disposition and experience.

Negative experience: Generally very long wait times. Satisfaction of appointments and care largely dependent on GP you see. Currently selling masks for $3 if you forget to bring one. Making a profit off your patients on masks, I feel is a bit pathetic. If going to this practice I would currently recommend Dr Patel who is lovely and has always been on time. I would give him alone 5 stars, along with the nurses who have always been fantastic with my son during his vaccinations. Having attended this clinic for 30 years, I have unfortunately noticed a recent decline in my experience which has prompted this review. The clinic has seen a few great doctors leave recently, which is a shame and makes me question why.

Negative experience: Used to go to them for years but lately it’s gone downhill. Receptionist are rude doctors make you wait forever, and if you try to get through a doctor through the receptionist is literally impossible. If you leave a message for the doctor … forget it, they will never call back.

Fantastic experience: Dr Prabhu Patil: I was sceptical about meeting a new doctor at this clinic. But Dr Patil made me rest assured very quickly. He was very calm, patient and very thorough with his examination and determination of his diagnosis. Well done to him and whoever got him to work for Medical One Taylors Lakes.

Negative experience: I have been going here for over 25 years… and am so disappointed with how it is now - 2 hour wait for my sick daughter as no appointments available - sorry I couldn’t predict she would be sick 3 weeks in advance - making us wait in the car - no explanation as to why there was such a delay - felt like it was because we didn’t have to pay the fee as it was for a child - so not a priority… really poor customer service from the multiple receptionists they have on staff…

Fantastic experience: Dr mahmood al nadeem is absolutely amazing, will actually try his best to help you out. Reception workers are also fantastic. Appointments timing can be challenging sometimes, but it's understandable as they can be very busy some days.

Negative experience: Where do I even begin Nancy the rudest person on reception is just so rude and not welcoming at all, have never met a more rude women in my whole entire life, feels like every question is a disrupt to her life, if you don’t like dealing with people I suggest you go somewhere else where you don’t have to!! And I thought we where in Australia since when did we have to start paying for doctor visits was with a doctor for 2 minutes and got slapped with a 101$ dollar bill. Negative experience: the clinic is run like a profit centre. Patients are leaving for other clinics, and the good doctors are also leaving to join other clinics. such a shame that service and care for people are not a priority here.

Fantastic experience: This five star review is for Dr.Nitin Mathur a family doctor for a many years. Recently having a new born we have visited the clinic for check ups and he has been amazing. Personally for myself he has been the best doctor I’ve ever had. Fantastic knowledge and a patient care above and beyond. You won’t find better.

Negative experience: your receptionist are absolutely disgusting! walked in without a mask and was asking if they provided some as i didn’t have any on me, and lady didn’t even acknowledge me just said you need a mask. places such as doctor clinics should be providing masks for the public! all staff there give horrible treatment and don’t have any ounce of sympathy for sick clients. i used to come here for the past 26 years and ever since Dr Uta left, all the clinic cares about is turning this place into a money making business with no care of sick people

Positive experience: Been coming here for over 20 years (since I was a child). Dr Nitin and the majority of the doctors here are fantastic. The reception staff are also helpful. I’ve had one bad experience with one particular doctor (once and never again), who refused to see my child with a bad cough despite having a negative pcr test result the day before. Told me it was asthma and for my son to take ventolin (even after I told him other members of the family had caught the cough also, and my son had never had asthma in his life ). Spoke with the practice manager, who was wonderful and organised a different doctor to see my son and listen to his chest. Thank you!

Negative experience: Staff at front desk are generally good and respectful. But most gps here are useless, will never diagnose you properly and will give a range of medications that has nothing to do with your condition. Stay away if you really care about your health.

Negative experience: Unable to book a doctor without knowing for days whether you need to see one. Walk ins can take hours and there is no guarantee of seeing a doctor when you actually need one. Also no longer bulk bills and for someone on a health care card with chronic illness has become too expensive for treatment.

Negative experience: Got rid of bulk billing for anyone under 65 really disgusted with medical one I need at least a fortnightly check up for health but now I can’t go there anymore

Negative experience: What I witnessed last night was disgusting I was entering this clinic as I am new to the area and wanted to make an appointment for my father. I saw an elderly lady crying in pain, empty clinic but apparently booked out, rude receptionists that did not care and a Dr who said her pain was no excuse for her to be seen before other patient’s. I was absolutely mortified. I heard the lady say I have been a patient for over 30 years and I am in pain. The patient ended up leaving without treatment. I would definitely not be coming to this clinic. Absolutely careless practice with zero care factor.Learn to triage.
