Fantastic experience: I feel very satisfied seeing Dr Alam at Epichealth as he is very thorough and listenes to the problems I may have and finds solutions.

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen Dr Alam a couple of times now for urgent care, and both times he has gone above and beyond to investigate the cause and rule out anything else. He was so informed and considerate of female conditions and truly showed his care and profession.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Epic Health Marketplace for over many years and highly recommend their service. The reception staff are always helpful and friendly. Appointments are always available and waiting room times are usually within 15mins. Dr Dr Sukhdeep Baweja (SD) is the GP looking after my health. I have found SD to be very professional, courteous and very understanding and highly recommend him as a Doctor.

Positive experience: Receptionist greeting and service is not welcoming- it appears the young lady is less than pleased to receive people. Doctor and pathologist were fast, efficient and professional - they offer a really good service.

Negative experience: Complete waste of time and money. Was not even examined by the doctor sent me away with a covid test that was negative, presented with a sore throat that was not even examined.

Negative experience: Went in for a an infection on my upper eye lid as a result of a burn, just wanted some antibiotics. Only made the appointment because there was nothing available at my local Surgery. The Doctor checked my eye, and said she would prescribe antibiotics. She the proceeded to ask family history question re: my Parents, Grand Parents, Siblings. I said the questions were not necessary as this will be a one off appointment at this Surgery. She told me it was important to have this information. I felt at the time that she was only trying to extend the appointment and guess what she charged me for an extra long consultation. All I can think now is I hope she enjoys the money if it is that significant for her. She must be feeling the cost of living pressures as well. I had a phone call today (4/6/24) from the Practice Manager. She asked me what my concerns were, I said I felt it was self explanatory. She advised me that the Doctor had an obligation to ask the questions she did. I responded by saying that it my family health history had noting to do with the consultation and in addition I had used Epic Health services on multiple occasions and not once had this level of detail been sought. I regret not saying to the Practice Manager during our conversation that II was directly approached by Epic Health via email to provide feedback following my consultation. I had no intention of providing feedback until it was sought. I offered my best critique given my experience. I did not ask to be contacted following the feedback and I think it is inappropriate to try and coerce me into making a changes to what I said. If Epic Health is wanting only positive feedback, why not request that in the email.

Negative experience: Used to go here growing up and all was fine until I came in a while ago and I was left feeling unhappy. I was unaware of the new change of no bulk billing under 16. So when I got to the front desk I had to pay 81 dollars out of my own pocket and I still! Haven’t gotten the 40 back that I was promised! Even 41 dollars is way too expensive for the service I was given by the doctor! She did the bare minimum! She didn’t even listen to me and kept looking at, talking to, and asking the questions to my mother who I don’t live with (not even in the same state!) and haven’t for a long time. which I had told the doctor from the beginning . (I told my mum I didn’t mind whether she sat in or not. ) So my mum obviously wouldn’t know the answers to these questions! It was so rude, when I’d go to answer the questions she’d look back at my mum as if for confirmation. And when she asked if the number on file was still the same one to contact I said no, it was my mums phone number, I said you can change it to mine. When she printed out the referral form a) it still had my mothers number on it and b) she referred me to private health care even though we told her bulk bill. - I was still unaware of the change to epic health at this time. (All my other experiences here were good before this)

Fantastic experience: When I cut the pad of my thumb, I was seen by Ambulance medics who suggested I get immediate attention by a doctor. I rang Epichealth Ocean Grove to ask if I could be seen. I was advised to attend the clinic immediately whereupon I was treated with care and understanding. My wound was then dressed every 2 days for 10 days. The clinical nurses and doctors were very thorough and caring. Thank you all so very much.

Positive experience: The doctors at this clinic particularly Dr Corns and Dr Knapp are great ! It is disappointing that my interactions on several occasions with the practice manager/ receptionist have been at best awkward and regularly very difficult . Today I arrived a few minutes early , registered with the practice manager who then dealt with other people . She admitted a later appointment than mine without acknowledging that I was in fact there or any issue . Thankfully the other receptionist apologised and so did the dr . I was there for a second shingles shot and the dr had spoken to the nurse who I couldn’t locate . When I asked the practice manager she said I hadn’t made a specific appointment. . Luckily the nurse came by ( she’s been in a consulting room ) administered the vaccination and I went on my way . It’s sad that the good work of other practitioners is being negatively impacted by the actions of this practice manager .

Positive experience: Clinic says open until 6pm however all doctors we're gone by 5.15pm so it was useless even being open. That said, upon our return the next morning the staff were lovely and Dr J. was very friendly and thorough with his assessment.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting EpicHealth in Ocean Grove Marketplace for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with the service I have received. I highly recommend Dr Sukdeep Bawega and the team there.

Negative experience: often hard to get an answer when calling them. The dr I saw very unhelpful, he just printed out my results from my PET scan and told me to read them and if I had any questions ask. I could not understand the results (Dr language) he still gave me very little explanation and treated me as though I was a nuisance. I will not be going back there if I can help it.

Positive experience: My partner saw our usual GP, 'nice chat' got referral to a specialist, got some scripts filled, a very enjoyable consultation

Negative experience: Saw Dr Jayantha Jayasinghe for a vaccination, however he administered me the incorrect prescription. Upon calling the clinic, they could not offer me any compensation for the cost I paid for the incorrect script and just said it was “unfortunate”. I then had to pay a further amount for the correct prescription. If this were a more important medication this could have had serious adverse affects on a patients health and is extremely negligible from a gp.

Fantastic experience: I have mostly found Epic Health pretty good over the years. Definitely didn’t like the change in no bulk billing (ggrrr). However! I now have an AMAZING team in Dr Thomas Souchen and nurse Jen for their pure professionalism, care and understanding. I am extraordinarily grateful to be able to rely on them to genuinely help me take care of my health and wellbeing!!

Fantastic experience: The personal attention I have received from the doctors has been impeccable! They are familiar with mine and my family’s medical history and apply this to a friendly yet professional service.

Negative experience: Bit annoying how long you have to sit there And wait. I wait for about 30mins-1h for my appointment every time I come here sometimes can be even longer and I called up to ask if I’ll have to wait because if so I’ll just come in a bit later than my appointment was meant to be and they tell me the doctor is on time today, so I come in at my appointment time and I’m still sitting here waiting for my doctor to see me. It’s been 45 minutes.

Negative experience: I would rate zero star if I could. I came to the clinic today with my 1 year old baby after he hurt his foot very badly. I came to seek for help. I was told I could not see a GP because the GP was already running late and I didn’t have an appointment (obviously!). Only 2 people were waiting in the room and it was only 2pm while the clinic closes at 5pm. The doctor could have EASILY see my son for 5-10min after the two patients. This could have avoided a very long trip to the emergency department at 30km from home. This was very distressing. The 20 yr old receptionist was very insensitive and disconnected from the situation. I lived in many cities and I have never been that badly treated by so called doctors and medical professionals. Refusing an injured baby because they *may* finish 5 min after 5pm for god sake!

Negative experience: I went to the clinic today to check on a injury and MRI results. Before leaving she went off topic and asked what im doing about my weight! My work cover claim had nothing to do with this. I felt embaressed and gobsmacked. I am very well aware that I am overweight and I am doing something about it on my own terms. She then proceeded to offer me duromine which I declined. I didn't know what to say so went along with the discussion to be nice. This is the 2nd time a doctor at your clinic has brought up my weight when it had nothing to do with the reason I was there. I won't be returning to your clinic in the future how dissapointing. Bedside manner is terrible. Seems like a common thing your doctors do from another review ive seen bringing up peoples weight when you have no idea what a person has gone though in their life.

Fantastic experience: l have been a patient at Epich Health for the past 6 years and am very happy with the medical care l receive from Dr Baweja. He is thorough in his consultations which helps me as l have complex medical conditions which require ongoing monitoring. l feel we work in partnership together which helps me manage my health well.
