Negative experience: I visited this medical center today. The staff were very nice and polite, but I had an appointment with Dr. Maryam Shirzadi. I waited for more than half an hour, and during this time, Dr. Maryam was chatting in Persian with another Iranian doctor about a party last night, right in front of me. This behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. I'm surprised that people like this are allowed to work in the medical field.

Fantastic experience: My daughter have fever over 40 degrees, I called later in the afternoon with no appointment left and after heard the situation we been offered a walk in appointment. So helpful when facing a very sick one with no appointment anywhere else.

Positive experience: Dr Maryam Assadollahianbonab has been my doctor for over a year and a half. She is an excellent doctor; caring and considerate. I travel a long way location wise just to see her. She makes me feel cared for and listened to. She is the best doctor I’ve ever had in my life! She is so kind, warm and makes me feel safe, understood and non-judged. Whilst Dr Maryam has been away I had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Satya Inumala who was incredibly rude and condescending. To begin with she was an hour and a half late to our telehealth appointment. I understand doctors are busy and can run into overtime, however her attitude was despicable. Very cold and rushed. She made me feel uncomfortable and a nuisance. I paid over $75 for a 2 minute conversation where she was exceptionally rude and had zero empathy. I’ve seen multiple doctors at times at Lotus with no issues, when lovely Maryam has been away and had no issues but Dr Satya was very rude. I think Lotus Medical is an amazing facility, however it’s dependable on your doctor!

My regular doctor at Lotus is not only kind and generous, but also genuinely interested in my well-being. He always takes the time to address all of my concerns, ensuring I feel heard and understood before I leave. The other doctors I've seen in his absence have been equally thorough and compassionate, demonstrating a high standard of care within the practice. As a queer person, I was initially hesitant to transfer my care to a practice that doesn't have any clear signs indicating LGBT+ inclusion. However, I'm thrilled to have found a practice where I feel genuinely welcomed and respected. The doctors, allied health professionals, and most of the receptionists have made me feel comfortable and cared for, which is difficult to come by these days. In addition to their exceptional care, Lotus Medical's fair fee structure reflects their patient-centred, principled ethics. Their focus is clearly on providing the highest standard of patient healthcare, not on maximizing profits. I wholeheartedly recommend Lotus Medical to anyone seeking compassionate, comprehensive care.

Positive experience: Waited 65mins for a short consultation which is ridiculous. Receptionists are helpful and friendly. Nurse had a poor attitude on the phone and told me they will need to charge for the doctor's time to update my vaccination record when even pharmacies will do it automatically without request. (Update) Dr Masood followed up on the issue and owned up to the mistakes of his staff. Clarified that it should be free for vaccination record to be updated, and offered to rectify it himself. Hopefully they will keep their promise and improve their services.

Negative experience: I am on a disabity pension. I had an appointment at Lotus Medical Centre before Christmas. After my appointment on my way out I told the receptionist that I have a health care card & to bulk bill me. She said it didn't work. How could that be as I've used it to purchase my medications without a problem. I was asked to wait to see the practice manager he said that the problem was with centerlink & not them & they couldn't help me. I've been to centerlink & they've said there is no problem with my health care card & they should have accepted it. Is this how you treat a patient. Where is your duty of care. As you can imagine I won't be back. This has never happened to me before.

Positive experience: Everything was great, staff, doctor, nurse, facility but the fee for non-Medicare holder is much higher($100) than Medicare holder($75) which seems quite unfair for same service received, private health insurance pays the same amount as medicare ($41ish) but was charged at higher cost so the gap fee turns out higher. And toilet can be maintained a bit better.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience I’ve been going there for years and always see Dr Ramzy who’s always late.a few weeks ago I made an appointment for a cosmetic issue which I had discussed with him prior and was told I needed a double appt which I did and confirmed the appointment. Got to the clinic he’s running late as always anyway my long appointment had been cancelled and made into a 10mint without informing me, they did not tell me in advance as I left work to go there and didn’t end up getting my treatment simply because Dr Ramzy had no time which was pathetic. It has happened to me twice last year I was running late to an appt called the clinic spoke to sue and informed her, but the best part is that I get to the clinic and Dr Ramzy was in his room and I was told that he has finished for the day which was a lie. This clinic used to be good but not anymore as there’s no care factor I’ve left this clinic disappointed in two occasions and would e going back.there’s so many other great doctors around with a great factor, As for the cosmetic procedures. There’s a lot of doctors performing cosmetic and injections with a better quality and better price. Please note I mentioned medical and cosmetic so clearly it’s got both clinics general medicine and cosmetic thanks

Fantastic experience: You rarely see a GP so dedicated, willing to listen, so calm and skilled. Dr Masood has all that and much more. He is an amazing doctor, he is happy to check all the things you are worried about, he is calm and respectful (if you are uncomfortable with some procedures and check-ups he needs to do, Dr Masood offers to invite the nurse in the room while he does the procedure). He gives you multiple advice if you need it and makes sure you feel that you are in good hands. I am really grateful to him and I am happy the reviews about his dedication and work were true. Fantastic experience: Have recently become a new patient seeing both Dr Masood and Dr Maryam. They are caring, knowledgeable and have lots of availability. Very happy I’ve made the decision to have them as my GP’s. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Waited and still waiting for an hour. Booked an appointment for 4 and was waiting until 5, I got up just to make sure that things were proceeding as my appointment was for 4, but the receptionist hadn't even done anything with my paperwork, even though I filled it and returned it to her within 5 minutes. She acknowledged me when I gave it to her but didn't do anything with it and then someone else came asked me questions about it, then put it on the back counter, where it sat until 5 o'clock when i checked. Overall really annoyed with the unprofessional service, if I hadn't booked an appointment previously it would be on me. The two receptionist had time to talk about personal things between themselves, maybe they need to concentrate on completing their tasks before having a chat, or chat but make sure their work is done. I was in the clinic on Wednesday 16th , arrived before 4 and left after 5. Poor service and won't return, won't recommend to anyone. EDIT: As a response to the manager as I can't see a reply button, I can go through the footage with you and point me out, I'm the girl to the left of the counter with the short hair and black mask, black tshirt and blue jeans, the one who sat in one place FOR AN HOUR! I WILL CONTACT YOU FIRST THING TOMORROW. I think it's a pretty cheap shot to say you went through the camera footage and couldn't find me??? I can tell you there was a girl with a ponytail who sat by me, a man with tradie boots and a lady wearing a hijab at different intervals. The receptionist was in the middle, blonde hair with a fringe, middle aged woman. Your response actually made me more angry because it seems you are insinuating that I never wasted an hour of my afternoon in your waiting room. I look forward to talking to you tomorrow.

Fantastic experience: Lotus medical centre is the best drs practise I’ve ever come across. The reception staff are so lovely and welcoming, and always make you feel right at home. Negative experience: WHAT A DISAPOINTING VACCINATION SERVICE ! Came there on time upon the vaccination appointment for my family. The staff told us to wait there until hearing the call from the nurse. They let us wait for ONE AND A HALF HOUR just to let us know that they do not offer the booster shot on the day, which they could have let us known earlier, not after ONE AND A HALF HOUR. And staff just did not give a care how long the customers have been waiting.

Negative experience: Booked covid booster shot online, arrived on time for my appointment. Received a call AFTER I had arrived that they had run out of shots and I wouldn’t be able to get one today. Receptionist was polite but told me a totally different reason than the voicemail I received said. I work in a hospital and took they day off to be turned away over the phone once I had already arrived?!? Wasn’t offered another appointment for ten days. As a casual worker, taking the day off to get this booster means I have lost day of pay and still don’t have my booster so thanks for nothing. *edit in response to owners rude comment. Why was I called and told after I had already arrived for my appointment that you had run out of Moderna and had to reschedule?? I have the voicemail, those are your words! Besides no attempt made to correct this until I had already arrived you called at my exact appointment time! Your response was incredibly rude. I’ll be cancelling my rescheduled appointment and will advise any local friends to steer clear. What a rude and unprofessional response from you.

Negative experience: Had an appointment for my nieces with doctor Masood. The appointment for the kids was at 1pm and we waited for one hour - I found this doctor unprofessional.

No fuss, jab done in another 1-2min. Been in there a few times and staff are professional, efficient and friendly enough! 5 out 5

We came here for my husbands second Astrazeneka jab after his appointment elsewhere was suddenly cancelled late afternoon the day before.
