For the past 18 months, my son has seen Amanda for pre and post ACL surgery rehab and for the long journey to returning to sport. From his first visit, it was clear that Amanda was a professional with extensive knowledge of ACL injuries and her treatments were based on the latest research; as was acknowledged by my son’s surgeon. Her exercise plans for my son were easy to follow and adhere to and she was available via email if we had any concerns. Fantastic experience: Tiega has been so great to me for my hips recovering after a hip arthroscopy on each hip in 2022. She gave me the confidence to walk after the surgeries. I faced with issues with my hips again recently and truly one session treatment solved the most of issue. The great information she provided me with was a great help to know how to manage the hips from now on to avoid issues. She is very open, humble, warm, and communicative. I love her skills and personality. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Went in today to Melbourne Sport Physiotherapy with such pain in my ankle & tension in my calf that it was Hurting every step I took could barely walk more then 5mtrs without Discomfort to the point where I have not been walking normally for the last 3 weeks. After a Big year of work last year I put it down to working too much & thought my leg needs a couple months off before I could be comfortable to walk again. I took my chance & seen Amanda at the Melb Sport Physio honestly not expecting too much or any improvement first up. But Amanda proved me wrong. Her knowledge & Expertise was first class. Got right in there deep with Acupuncture needles at first was a little uncomfortable but the relief was instant took a massive load of tension out of my calf then professional Taped up my Ankle. I left the clinic being able to walk with no discomfort & best of all No pain. World class Professionals at this Clinic & would Recommend any one with any pain & discomfort to go get checked out & feel better instantly. 5 stars. Negative experience: This practice sends a huge number of highly irritating spam/marketing text messages and emails that you can't opt out of. It is ridiculously annoying. Great physio which is the only reason you'd put up with them - Amanda is excellent.

As always excellent service and have been great help for me to recover when I had some sort of injury. I have seen number of physios here and they all are very good, and have met my expectations.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Yana Dellavedova. I am a long distance runner and have seen her for a variety of injuries. Most recently a calf tear 6 weeks before a marathon. Her extensive knowledge, skills and understanding of an athlete’s mindset helped me not only make the start line but run a PB. This would not have been possible without her guidance. She provided me with practical, achievable rehab goals and is the first person who has managed to motivate me to do strength training. I have recommended her to family and friends who have been equally impressed with her skills and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: I have been preparing for a marathon (perhaps a little too hard) and developed an injury. After seeing a specialist for several weeks nothing was improving. Two running friends recommended Yana Dellavedova at MSP. Yana immediately pinpointed the two injury sites and set me to work on building strength around the areas whilst protecting the injury itself. Together we managed the recovery of the injury and the build up of my running load. I managed to complete the marathon yesterday, only four minutes short of my pb. An outstanding result, considering where I was six weeks ago. Yana’s knowledge is outstanding - the smallest tweak to my exercises really honed in on working the area we wanted to build strength in whilst avoiding the injured areas. She is super personable and gave me the confidence to keep moving whilst recovering. The entire experience was highly professional and very enjoyable. I can feel the strength building in my hamstrings and glutes and know I will be a much stronger runner for it. Chuffed. Thanks, Yana.

Negative experience: After seeing 2 different physios i realised its just a bunch of kids who have no idea what they’re doing. And none of the things advertised were offered as treatments. And Massages are more like spas massages nothing remedial at all. Never going back and will make sure no one i know goes either.

Fantastic experience: I experienced ongoing back pain affecting my quality of life for 5 months, after seeking treatment from other places the pain did not resolve. I had 2 sessions with Yana and my back has never felt better! No more pain! I noticed improvement from the first session! Highly recommend and most definitely will return for any future treatments!

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to have Liam as my physiotherapist for a knee injury that made my life a misery. He efficienty diagnosed, treated, got me pain free and managed any unexpected niggles along the way. He directly approached the on-site podiatrist and personal trainer (Chris) to guide them on what was happening and what excercise program i would need to improve my knee stability and strength.

Fantastic experience: LIZ PATTISON at Essendon is brilliant, I am a nurse of 32 years, and I highly recommend Liz, I think you are in safe hands with her. She is very knowledgeable, caring and wholistic. She explains what is going on in the body and as a nurse I get it straight away and appreciate the information. I like that she gives me advice what not to do and what to do during the time Im incapacitated. She gave me tips and exercises and I need those tips to be able to get back to work in a physical environment. She has looked after my husband too and assessed that after a certain amount of time he needed referral for more specialised assessment ie neurologist as he wasn't progressing as he should have. So she liaises with Doctors and other health professionals to get the results and this is great wholistic care. She really does want to help you get back to 100% or as close to it depending on your age TBH. The centre is $$ but I think you get what you pay for. There is also a specialist consultant physiotherapist DR Kay Copeland. I assume she has a PhD. She is only one of of 9 specialist physios in the state so she is of high regard and its testament to this clinic that they have her a few times a week, she is able to be seen if the physios think it wise and complex to refer to her. Her resume too is Amazing. All in all my experience with this clinic for my family has been great.

I had several issues that I had been battling for over 12 months and after a couple of months Liam had helped me sort everything out and get back to running and cycling. Will absolutely be my first point of call for any future issues.

Fantastic experience: Liam was able to diagnose my issue and developed an exercise plan over a six week period. He was highly professional and friendly with great interpersonal skills. My issue was resolved and I have developed some much needed strength in my hips and core.

Negative experience: I travelled almost an hour to come see a physiotherapist here and honestly, my money went straight down the drain. They did not address the main reason I went there and just said it is not important to fix. They told me I may have a specific issue, however, didn't even test to see if I had the issue nor did they give me any exercises until I asked - and even then, I was given just 1 exercise.

Fantastic experience: I've seen Amelia a number of times when I over do it as a middle aged hack runner and wind up with some part of me out of sorts. She is always absolutely fantastic at getting me back on track. Quick, accurate and knowledgeable with a diagnosis, terrific at prescribing and explaining the rehab needed, while also very understanding about balancing the need for recovery with the desire to get back out running. I could not recommend her highly enough for anyone needing a physio for a sport related issue or any other issue requiring treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Melbourne Sports Physio since it started 9 or 10 years back & they are the best group of Physios I have ever been to, I wouldn’t trust my health & fitness with anyone else. After running long distances, I turned to Triathlons 8 years back & I absolutely love it. During COVID my training became unpredictable & I was doing far to much cardio work. I strained a calf in January 2021, 1 week before my 1st triathlon of the season. I missed the entire season, it was shattering. I made a gradual steady recovery & was going well until I strained my other calf last November, in the lead up to the new season. I was shattered again and thought at that point I would never do another race again. I called Tony Beecroft at Melbourne Sports Physio & asked for his advice. He connected me with one of his top Physios Amelia Thomas. Amelia was absolutely incredible from the very start. We made a plan to get me back for the 2nd race of the season in February this year. The plan consisted of strengthening my body to cope with my training load. We caught up every 2 weeks to adjust my training plan & I did everything she told me to do. My body got stronger & my quality of training improved dramatically. I made it back for my race in February, then went onto to do a PB at the Shepparton event in March, before finishing strong at the last race of the season in St Kilda. I was absolutely thrilled that I could get back, compete again & do a PB. My body has never felt so strong & I owe it all to Amelias expertise. I now visit Amelia every 3 weeks to keep adjusting my training plan, and I have big goals for later in the year & next tri season. Amelia has become my fitness coach & mentor, I couldn’t recommend her, or Tony & the Melbourne Sports Physio Team highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I went back to Kylie for a remedial massage which got right in to some tight spots. Kylie is warm, friendly, experienced and really skilled. Thanks to Elsie, the lovely receptionist for finding me an appointment. Highly recommend this practice.

After rupturing ligaments in my foot/ankle, he eased me through recovery with a solid plan to go from hobbling around in a moon boot to getting back on the field playing sport again. Personalized plan to build strength flexibility and functionality to get me to a better place than I was pre-injury. Would highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Yana more highly!! I came to her with a tendon injury from running and she helped me overcome it without stopping my running all together. Not only has the tendon healed but I came away stronger and better equipped with the knowledge to plan my training in a way which will help to prevent injuries in the future.

Fantastic experience: I had my knee reconstruction and then 8 weeks later needed a second knee surgery. I then started my sports physio with Tegan S at Melbourne Sports Physio Essendon, which was 7 weeks ago, for rehabilitation on my knee. I can't speak highly enough of Tegan. Her knowledge, support and one on one service, has been second to none. She has tailored a program suited for my goals, to get me back to every day life things, as well as my fitness and sports. Where I am now and how much I have improved in such a short time (7 weeks), is credit to Tegan. I am now back at the gym and my fitness and strength is improving daily. Very happy with where I am at and thankful for Tegan. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Four months ago I began rehabilitating an ankle break with Liam at Melbourne Sports Physio. This weekend I get to return to playing ice hockey with no pain at the break site. I completely credit Liam and his ability to tailor a program to what I need for getting me back to where I want to be in such a short time. My ankle feels stronger than before the injury and I'm confident I will return to Liam and Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy should I ever need any further physio work.

I only recently visited them for the first time last week after an issue with my neck and by my second appointment this week I was basically fixed due to the initial therapy and exercises that Chris provided! I’ll definitely be staying with this team :)
