Negative experience: Dr Bali you should be ASHAMED ! Incompetent, you didn't even want to talk with us for the failure of YOUR prescription and ask us "to see another doctor"! Wow, never think it was possible ! He is Only a doctor to take your money. Otherwise, the receptionists where helpful and nice

Negative experience: Reception were lovely and the GP was lovely. The midwife was nice but my appointment was really just to get a booster shot. I told the lady at reception that it would be ok if I needed further visits to the doctor that the midwife could be there. The midwife was pushy and intrusive when I didn’t ask for that. I understand I had to see her before I got the shot but I have my own midwife through my OB through private. She scared me regarding my Fundal measurement, telling me I’m measuring nearly 6 weeks ahead. Then proceeded to tell me the things my OB “should have done”. She continued to repeat the phrase “in the public system…” or “what happened at your previous hospital visits?” I have a private OB and so am not going to the hospital for appointments except to book in for a c-section. I have a midwife with my private OB care. Needless to say that my growth scan and OB appointment both confirmed that my baby is a healthy size and weight and that my fluid and whatever else is all normal. Terrified for nothing! Won’t be returning to that GP I’m sorry to say.

She left no stone unturned to get to the bottom of my condition. I feel confident going to Gatton Medical Centre, knowing that no matter what my age, that I am treated well.

Negative experience: Terrible delay everytime. This GP is good if u are not working and so bored at home. Have been more than 5 times, they never let me in on time. Why I need to book if I need to wait for 85mins from my appointment time? Always they make me wait for more than 30mins but today is the worst. If it always happens you have to consider to change system. Paid $78, waited for 85mins to see dr.Rakhsha for 3mins I will not come back here never ever

They were so helpful and supportive even in busy times and took care of the patients in a respectful manner. Even keeping us informed of the wait time was really helpful too. Dr Ishani is THE BEST GP have ever encountered in my 58 years. Very thorough, understanding and empathetic. I would give a 10 rating if I could!

Fantastic experience: First visit to Gatton Medical Centre today. From the initial phone request for an appointment through to leaving after my visit the reception staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The Doctor I saw was welcoming, very personable and skilled.

Fantastic experience: Gatton Medical Centre is a welcoming GP surgery with an understanding female GP who is sensitive to patient’s health needs. She explained the medication regime and how it works.

Negative experience: My 1 star review was somehow removed? People NEED to know NOT to go and see a certain male doctor at this clinic if they’re depressed,!or have a family whom are depressed and having suicidal thoughts. Moved here about 1.5 years ago and was struggling with severe depression and in a very, very bad place mentally.. my parents encouraged me to see a local doctor. The doctor I saw at this clinic told me, and I quote: ‘if you’re feeling suicidal you should just k!ll yourself’. He also told me ‘everyone will forget you ever existed within a few months anyway’.. He then proceeded to tell me over about 15 minute period. about his religious and personal beliefs, and about how if something happened to him, his wife would end up getting sick of him and he’d know he was a burden. I NEVER said I felt like a burden. I’m not making this up. I have absolutely no reason to. I was so disgusted that I left and never returned. I wrote my review under a different name about a week later and they’ve somehow had it removed it! Not impressed. Absolutely appalling and unacceptable! He SHOULDN’T be allowed to deal with anyone suffering from any mental health issues. If you don’t CARE ABOUT PEOPLE, WHY are you still a practising general practitioner?! My mum had seen him a week prior and he was condescending to her, cut her off and spoke over her and absolutely disregarded her concerns. . —I only realised my original review was deleted because my regular GP asked me about what happened with this situation and if I ever return or left a review. Said I left a review, have now seen it’s gone.—

Dr Htay is very thorough with his treatment; always listens and takes time to explain treatments. I always recommend this centre when people are looking for a reliable doctor and service.

I’ve been a patient of this practice now for over 10 years and I have no complaints (maybe only that the reception staff does change a lot)! Each staff member I have dealt with have been great! I highly recommend Dr O’o or Dr Thay! Both doctors are fantastic and have great communication skills! Dr O’o is amazing when it comes to needle time with my 18month old son, he hardly lets out a cry which is great! I wouldn’t use any other practice

Negative experience: Doctors or fine very polite and helpful. The thing that the place down for me was the old receptionist wow what a rude arrogant and cranky old bat she is to the patients soo rude !!!!!!, omg I thought to myself gee love you need a different profession or a really long holiday. But that wasn’t the worst from her oh no she snarled at and belittled the other receptionist in a very rude manner which all the other patients could hear as most looked. Very poor team work on her end and should be dealt with. Apart from that as stated the other staff are very friendly and kind. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Negative experience: Visited this clinic with a family member never again… the older receptionist Tanya was very rude and was talking about the lady in front of me her results don’t think the lady knew yet. Also witnessed a nurse and Tanya bully the younger receptionist which wasn’t nice to see. The younger receptionist was so lovley made me and my family member feel very welcome she was very sincere and had a smile on her face even with what the others were doing. Really hope she is ok.

Negative experience: I ll never go back there, the doctor think was Chinese had no clue what I wanted and was not prepared to help. It actually span him out, not sure he even understood what was going on. Ladies out the front super nice and helpful though. I think some asian or foreign doctors need more education to practice here.
