Negative experience: Can't review as nothing to review. Turned up within hours. No sign of life and no reasons posted as to why. 24/7 on the sign, opening hours posted a week but locked solid. Waste of travelling time.

Fantastic experience: From making the appointment to visiting with Dr Vure, my latest experience was excellent. This medical centre has always provided excellent doctors over the 8+ years my family and I have been registered with them. The varying specialists at the clinic mean I haven't had to go an external provider which is super convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this medical centre.

Negative experience: Not impressed by the stitching prowess by Dr Smith. Ive had plenty of stitches applied over the years. This was very erratic messy stitching, with threads exiting my face well outside the 'normal'margin of a stitched area in my opinion? Sorry cannot recommend however otherwise a great clinic.

Fantastic experience: I visited Hamilton harbour medical centre today for an appointment with Annie, the resident nurse, to initiate a care plan. Annie was punctual, well informed and considerate. She was able to set up the plan without any issues and also checked my vaccination status and answered all my queries. An excellent consultation.

Fantastic experience: Dr Vure is a great doctor, spend good time to discuss with patiens, listens to them patiently and understands the problem. Fantastic experience: Very good doctors! And reception staff. Extremely rare that I have had to wait past my appointment time. It has taken me a long time to find doctors who I am happy with! I forgot to add that they had to stop bulk billing however I FULLY UNDERSTAND AND SUPPORT THEM in this decision!

Fantastic experience: Hamilton Harbour Medical Centre has been our family Dr for the past 6 years. They are very caring and proactive with reminders (flu shot etc). I am very happy with their service in particular accommodating our special needs for a Dementia patient cared for full time at home.

Negative experience: Pay to see a GP EVERYTIME? What’s happening to this country! I was looking for a practice for my family but paying for everyone, every time to see a doctor is crazy! Gone the days doctors used to work to help patients, now it’s a money making business. Note to practice owner - please don’t write the reason for the billing, I read the previous reviews and your website. Cost of living is going up for everyone, help your community and not start charging them.

Negative experience: I understand the surgery does not bulk bill anymore but would like to know what is considered a short consultation, I was charged for a full consultation for less than 10 mins to get test results, much of which I was waiting for the doctor to get his printer to work
Hi Michelle, We do still offer bulk billing for patients 16 years and under and patients who hold a valid Pension Concession Card and/or Health Care Card. A short consultation is only for obvious and straight forward problems like a repeat script, updated referral letter, blood test referral request etc. Generally, the fee depends on the length of the consult and the nature of tasks to complete (e.g. visit note documentation, updating any records, etc.). Regarding the printer, we understand your frustration and do apologise for that taking up your consultation time. Fantastic experience: This is a practice that genuinely provides quality care and amazing service. Unfortunately that can be hard to come by these days but Hamilton Harbour has created such a wonderful environment for patients to receive the right medical attention they need. The doctors are caring and the administration staff are very welcoming and polite. I’ve noticed a change for the better with the current practice manager Malith, patients are put first and the clinic is now expanding with more medical services provided. If you’re looking for a new family doctor or just a one off visit, I would highly recommend this place. Well done Malith and the team at Hamilton Harbour!

Fantastic experience: Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. I had flu like symptoms and was met outside the clinic for a screening before I could proceed inside. Once inside the clinic was clean and comfortable and all my GP was very friendly and knowledgeable.
