Fantastic experience: All Doctors are lovely here and receptionist are very professional and helpful. My kids and I usually see Dr Lakmini & Dr Melody. Both Doctors are lovely. Very thorough, make you feel comfortable, don't make you feel rushed & they have great rapport with their patients. Its very hard to find good Doctors these days especially when you have young kids. But these two doctors have been awesome!

Negative experience: Really bad service. Doctors always late and you will wait in waiting area for more than an hour. If you are late for 10 minutes then your appointment gets cancelled. Phone appointment at 2 hours waiting experienced and if confirmed then the clinic says we tried to call but your phone was unreachable. Really calling you from the same device. Zero rating but its not letting me to post till i click on star but i would have gone to negative if there was an option

Negative experience: We only come to My Medical & Dental centre Springfield Orion to see Dr Galman. If she wasn’t so incredible, we wouldn’t come here. Some reception staff are so rude they do not do justice to such a wonderful, efficient and thorough doctor. The reception staff and practice manager ruin the experience. Phone wait times have been excessive. The rooms let down the quality of service Dr Galman provides, the room smells musty and it doesn’t seem very hygienic. Be cautious to check payment info on their website, not Hot Doc. Bulkbilling & mixed billing info has been incorrect for another doctor we had to see when Dr Galman wasn’t available. Bookings for Dr Galman need to be made in advance, she is very good, so very popular.

Fantastic experience: Took my son here as a first time patient after a fall at the playground. They were very accommodating and could fit me in straight away. Dr was lovely.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful find this clinic is. I was able to get an appointment as a new patient within a couple of days with the Dr of choice. I had hardly sat my bottom on the chair and I was called in. Had my bloods test in the same clinic on the way out to reception. Dr Melody was very thorough, caring, listened to my concerns and didn’t rush me out the door. I left a very happy patient.

She was a breath of fresh air for me after trying to find a good GP for so long. She also, out of the kindness of her own heart, bulkbilled my appointment that actually should’ve been charged MORE for how much time of hers I took up.. totally unexpected and had me taken back a bit from her kindness. She just felt like a warm hug and a “I see you.”She’s put me on the right medical path after weeks of uncertainty. Couldn’t recommend enough! I will definitely be staying with her going forward

Fantastic experience: Dr Basnayaka is the most caring nice doctor you could ever have

Negative experience: Doctors are great! But RUDE Receptionist. I came to request a medical certificate an hour after my appointment (as i forgot to ask the Doctor during the appointment) and when i got to the counter they were laughing at one of the previous patient/client. Also, i went to approach them very gently but the Receptionist’s tone and facial expression was not very friendly at all.

Negative experience: Dr son was the doctor of my dad and his now ex I find it highly unprofessional for dr son to listen to the now ex who was highly abusive and prescribe my dad with medication that she recommended when seeing dr son privately the medication that was prescribed to my dad was for depression which doctor son had said it was for anxiety my dad has been in and out of hospital after being super suicidal the hospital was shocked to see that this was prescribed to him as they reckon this has been the main push for him to feel the way he’s been feeling even his new doctor was baffled and said he should have never gave you this medication and after all that we get a letter in the mail saying he is no longer aloud to set foot in your building after not being in there in so long an absolutely disgusting doctors office to not allow him back after yous were in the wrong yous do not care about your patients only the money!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Son is a caring and compassionate Doctor. Completely kind an understanding. The staff are exceptional in every way.

Negative experience: Receptionist who answered the phone on 2nd February 2024 about 3:45pm is a bit blunt like she does not really want to speak on the phone.

We have followed her even when she moved clinics as she is a Doctor that follows thru everything of concern and is not only there for money but truly for the well being of her patients.

Dr Basanayaka was very thorough and made very helpful suggestions as well as listening to our concerns. She wasn’t pushy or judgemental with the problem, just listened and gave us reasons for her suggestions of care. Very happy with this service as it is very hard to find a good Dr these days.

Negative experience: The doctor refer me to a doctor that cannot provide diagnoses and treatment. Wasting my money and time. She cannot give me a diagnosis but put me a history of something which misleading the another doctor I was send to see. So, now I have to make another appointment to go to right place to seek for right diagnosis. I paid almost 150$ out of my pocket for nothing. Really angry. They should be more professional and knowing where they are referring pt to.

Positive experience: I go to this practice purely to see Dr Rahmani as we have found him to be extremely thorough when being presented with our health issues. We have never felt like a number in his care and despite his wait time sometimes being long, I understand that he doesn't rotate clients with only concern for time, but takes the time a patient needs, even if that does push out his appointments through the day. Thank you Dr Rahmani for actually caring.

Negative experience: My wife has had major surgery to her foot (hospital did a great job). Post surgery after 3 weeks she made an appointment to start commencement on physio on foot (foot care plan) . Made an appointment at 4:00pm . I took her into the Center on a wheel chair . Waited until 4:20pm and was told they had made a mistake with booking and would have to wait until 5:00pm. This is totally unacceptable . A phone call to say sorry that booking had been mixed up would have been acceptable. Not even an apology was forthcoming. Not acceptable !!!!!

Negative experience: I presented to this clinic over a month ago. I was in agonising pain. I was asked to provide a stool sample. I provided the sample extremely swiftly and dropped it off to the lab. I even contacted My Medical & Dental Centre multiple times to follow this sample up. After waiting weeks, My Medical & Dental Centre informed me that the lab could not process my stool sample and would not provide me with a reason. And simply told me in an email that I could come and collect the container if I wanted to. Unethical and extremely disturbing.

Fantastic experience: Recently i had a complication with a surgery. Dr Rahmani demonstrated sound judgement in picking up the anomolies and expressing his concerns. He expidited my care which ensured a speedy diagnosis of the problem and a return to hospital for a second surgery. After this surgery Dr Rahmani was diligent in wound dressings and follow up care for an extended period of time. Both him and his medical team ensured i was keep informed and reassured me throughout the process. I would recomend Dr Rahmani and this clinic to anyone looking for the best medical care.

Negative experience: I have booked the appointment over the phone at 12:30 on 10 june 2023 got there receptionist said its been canceled i asked how come she replied we received a call to cancel the appointment I request the number from which she received a call because I didn't call them to cancel my appointment she refused to give the number then they put me on wait for more than 1 hour 15 minutes to see doctor. it was all their fault the doctor attended me abt 1:45 pm then she charged me extra extra surcharge for seeing doctor on Saturday after 1 pm ok that's fine i was in pain money wasn't the issue worst thing when I booked another appointment for follow up of my condition on 19 june I got abt 10 minutes late then another receptionist she said," sorry we can't take you in we are so busy you are late then I reminded her another day I waited more than an hour please understand she said can't take today I can book you in tomorrow. How very unprofessional rude bossy people at this place they can what they think right even they do mistake at their end but can't understand any patient situation. I wish there is negative rating option for you I don't even rate this place is 1 star.

Negative experience: I have reported your clinic (Specifically Dr Faisal Rahmani) to The Office of the Health Ombudsman and the official Australian Ahpra board. I will absolutely not accept the way that I was treated at my appointment this morning by Dr Faisal Rahmani. I had booked a 'follow up appointment' at 'My Medical & Dental Centre Springfield Orion' for today (22/05/2023) at 12:00pm with Dr Lakmini Basnayake to follow up on my ultrasound, stool and blood tests that were taken the previous week. These tests were taken because I presented with severe, ongoing, lower abdominal pain. I was advised via text message this morning (22/05/2023) that my doctor (Dr Lakmini Basnayake) was ill, and that she would not be at the clinic today. I called the clinic, letting them know that I would still like to see a doctor, as I was still in severe pain. They proceeded to book me in with Dr Faisal Rahmani instead for 11:20am. Upon walking into Dr Faisal Rahmani's room - The first thing that he said to me was (direct quote) "Yeah, I think you're just going to have to come back and see the other doctor cause I don't really know..... Yeah". I was taken back, and didn't know what to say. So I proceeded to ask (direct quote) "What are the results of the blood test, ultrasound and stool sample". He proceeded to say (direct quote) "Yeah, I don't really know. There's nothing I can really do. You can go to hospital if you want. I don't know why you have the pain. I don't know.". I proceeded to say (direct quote) "But I am in agony - Is there not somebody that you can send me to see for further testing? What am I supposed to do?" The doctor proceeded to say (direct quote) "I don't know. You can tell me if you want me to do something specific. Like, I don't know". When it got to the end of my appointment, Dr Faisal Rahmani abruptly stood up and swung the door to his room open, singling that it was time for me to leave the room. I proceeded to say (direct quote) "But you haven't done my gynaecology referral yet?". Dr Faisal Rahmani then said in a raised and aggressive voice (direct quote) "You need to hurry up. If you needed more things done, you should have booked a longer appointment time. I'm going to be double billing you. So yeah. You're going to be the reason other people have to wait". I then proceeded to inform Dr Faisal Rahmani that I *had* in fact, booked a double length appointment and that I had actually made a special phone call to confirm the length of my appointment, prior to attending the clinic. I informed the doctor that I had gone out of my way to ensure the correct appointment time, and that I did not know what he was talking about. If your employees cannot exercise professionalism and respect - You should not be employing them. Actions need to be taken against doctors who treat patients in this way. Presenting to a doctor in agonising pain, only to be belittled, condescended, intimidated and verbally abused - Is completely unacceptable. I have reported Dr Faisal Rahmani to The Office of the Health Ombudsman and the official Australian Ahpra board. Do better.
