Fantastic experience: I came in today and honestly I have to say huge thank you to everyone I saw! I am currently traveling austrialia is a new country to me and I needed to get treatment for something. I felt that they were the only place that has taken me seriously. From keeping calm and reassured! So this a massive thank you to the doctor and all the nurses I saw today!

Negative experience: Really disappointed with this clinic, had a very frustrating experience with Dr. RICHARD DAVIES, bad diagnostician, but most of all had no empathy towards the situation I was in, had to go there because of an ear infection and due to my work being on an island I had to take several days off to assist. The doctor was never able to explain my symptoms, prescribed repeated treatments that didn't work, and gave me ENT refferals to doctor who had no availability until the next 6 months, when I found an ENT on my own, I called the clinic to ask for a referral and the results of a study they had done on my ear, they refused to give them to me unless they charged me for another appointment, after being in the clinic six times and having no answer to my problem I consider this a major disrespect and poor treatment as a human being. Therefore I will go on and fix the problem by myself as I don't want to pay them more money than I already have. All in all, no empathy, lack of willingness to help, and similar to talking to a wall, as well as being a bad diagnostician

Fantastic experience: Exemplary. As a visitor to Australia having flown in from Sydney I became quite unwell and knew l would need medical help. From the chemist to the receptionist to the doctor who stayed behind after hours to help me I can only say once again thank you for your kindness and professionalism.

Positive experience: I believe i was over charged by treating dr. Literally took 2 minutes to issue script and was charged $80 which contradicts pay schedule displayed.

Negative experience: Just sat through listening to the greatest load of rubbish from the practice manager. Needed a letter to a specialist changed by two words. I contacted the desk and explained that the specialist had asked for it to have tbe name changed to a different specialist a total of 12 letters. I was told that I would need to see a doctor to have the two words or 12 letters changed. It was suggested by the staff that I do a phone consultation. To hold the date and time I had to submit my credit card details to hold the appointment. This was my first error as once they have your money there is no way in the world you are going to get it back. Anyway had the phone interview total of 2 min and 30 seconds or 150 seconds. Doctor stated as you are a pensioner and it was only such a short consultation I will bulk bill. I thanked him very much and thought that it was fair as it was such a short consultation. I then asked for the money to hold the appointment to be refunded. At this piont i was given ever excuse in the world. Told we don't bulk bill- but the doctor said he would. The doctor was wrong I was told. Then you are not a pensioner and don't have a pension card. Yes I do. You are working -No I'm not haven't worked since 2016 when I retired. You are not 70 - no Im not. You don't come here enough you havent been here for 6 months, you should come to the surgery more often. But I havent been sick in the past 6 months. You have private health- Yes I said that I thought it was a good idea to keep it when I retired I said. Can't see what having private health has to do with the doctor bulk billing or not. But the doctor bulk billed me last time as a pensioner - answer was he was wrong. I run the practice and it cost lots so they should not bulk bill. She had an answer for everything and when she didn't she just made up BS. Anyway lesson never give them your credit card details. In future I will ensure that my credit card details are not given, I will have an in person consultation and I will ensure that I see the same doctor each time as apperently not seeing the same doctor is an issue as well. In the end we have your money end of story.

Positive experience: I found the young doctor helpful he listened and found a good solution how ever when going to pay the 80 dollars became $140 as unbeknown to me I went over time and was not informed of this That needs to be addressed just fortunate I had enough to pay but what if I didn't Communication is the key

Fantastic experience: I would like to recommend Dr.Bianca Sheridan for these reasons she has a warm welcoming professional demeanour she will listen to you carefully and comprehensively and look at you not all doctors do they seem engrossed in their pc and this can be a little unsettling at times when one's health is in jeopardy you want to feel important and cared for she does that for you very well. she will then discuss with you the options available to you as well as discussing medications thoroughly explaining their use and side effects then takes the time to read discuss past medical history if you are a new patient so she understands your health needs better thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I got an appointment with Dr Ali Zebarjad within 2 hours from needing it. It was easy to find, got in on time and Dr Zebarjad was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this health centre and if I need a doctor when visiting Airlie Beach again this is where I'll go.

Fantastic experience: I’m visiting the area from Tassie so was so pleased when I could get a timely appointment for the same day. Reception staff were lovely and Dr very efficient/speedy, but maybe a bit too speedy. He prescribed antibiotics within literally a couple of minutes, which was a relief but surprising. He also listened to my lungs but didn’t seem to know anything about chemo patients and cytotoxic issues. Just a heads up.

Fantastic experience: I had the misfortune to fall face first onto a pebblepave drive and rather severely injured my forehead and nose. I also had a couple of significant grazes on my knees, and a few fingers were also bleeding. A wonderful lady at reception really prioritised my treat and I was soon in the hands of a very competent nurse named Ness. She did a great job of patching me up. I was then seen by Dr Lisa, who check me over and gave me the all clear to leave. She also told me NOT to drive for two days, as I could be suffering from concussion. All in all I had excellent treatment from the three people who dealt with me. Sincere thanks to the all concerned.

I was concerned that the wound area was becoming infected so the lovely receptionist squeezed me in for an appointment. I was so very much appreciated. The nurse attended to me but a doctor Dr Thomas did check that all is ok before the wound was redressed. Thank you thank you so much. Lovely staff and GP

Negative experience: Mixed experiences here. I personally have had OK experiences on my 2 visits except for when my doctor didn't show up for work. My partner has had a frustrating journey with Dr Davies who is extremely inflexible in offering telephone consultations (even for simple results). We live on an island and coming to the Dr for a 10 min appointment is a 13 hour day for us. My partner had some tests done and was then asked to make an appointment to return in person, the results could not be given on a phone appt. When he arrived for the appointment DR Davies was confused why he had come in for an appointment, a 13 hour trip to mainland wasted. Blood tests were then conducted, after which he was again asked to return in person for the results. Despite pleas for a phone appointment, Dr Davies was unable to accommodate, so we assumed the results were something concerning. Returned for the results today which were nothing more than we already knew, even with results that had improved from last time. A 5 minute appointment, that could have been done in 5 minutes over the phone, resulting in a 13 hour trip to the mainland for us. We will not be returning to this practice due to the inflexibility of this doctor.

Fantastic experience: Great doctor, caring and wonderful to my sick 11 year old plus we could get in on the same day which can be difficult in a small town. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience. The best Doctors in town. I struggled to find a good Doctors in Arlie Beach that cares about patients. Over the last three years I went to 3 GP'S in town and with the worst experience ever. These guys at Cannonvale Medical Center are outstanding form when you walk in to when you leave. I can highly recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: I had an appointment with Ali Farshchian for a urinary infection. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Instead of conducting necessary tests, he was quick to prescribe antibiotics without proper examination. I even had to prompt him to order a blood test and urine test myself. However, I must mention that the facilities were great, and the receptionist was friendly. After receiving my results, I scheduled a consultation over the phone. During the second consultation, he asked if I had undergone recent STI tests, a crucial component that should have been included in the initial tests. Despite expressing my willingness to pay for any necessary tests, I was disappointed by the oversight. Furthermore, he informed me that I would need to come back for another urine test, adding further inconvenience to the situation. Overall, my experience with this doctor was a waste of time and money, particularly for female patients.

Fantastic experience: I must applaud the receptionist Michelle at this clinic whom had helped immensely after being poorly serviced by Dr Richard Davies who has ended up causing me to get knocked back for my travel insurance due to not understanding basic requirements of a medical certificate in which I am now stuck with no money in Airlie Beach.. Do not see Dr Richard Davies under any circumstances as he just wants your money and does not intend on helping his clients.. Additionally I had found that Dr Richard Davies is currently under investigation as this is not the first time reports such as this have been made against him.. Again on the other hand I am giving 5 stars to Michelle who has assisted in rectifying this issue with no additional expenses and I had also witnessed Michelle chase a client out the door as they had forgotten their medical script. Never in my life have I seen a receptionists put in as much effort to help people as Michelle has. Thank you so very much Michelle! :)

Fantastic experience: I thought the practice was excellent, I had my family over from the uk traveling with me down the coast. My dad got a chest infection and nothing was too much bother for them to see him on a Saturday afternoon. Great service

Negative experience: Absolute worst doctor’s experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Adem spent half of the consultation talking about himself and my home country (Norway). He also had me trying to find a norwegian friend of his on our «yellowpages» from Norway. Then he charges me for «a long consult» afterwards. I came in with a swollen foot, most likely after a bite, and Dr. Adem wanted to do x-rays and ultrasound that I said no thank you too. He also did extensive testing that I had to pay over 700 aud for. When we did a followup with the results (on phone) he calls me even if not all the results are back. He then keeps calling me and wants to charge me for every consult. Feels like a big scam. He also told me over the phone that some of the results were negative, but when I ask to have them sent over it turns out one of the tests are in fact positive. For the positivt result I need antibiotics, but when they try to call him from the pharmacy to just have the perscription sent over he starts ranting on the phone to the pharmasist about me and how «I didn’t want to have anything more to do with him». He also wanted me to do monthly checkups on my D-vitamin level - because they were SO GOOD that it would be interesting to see how they are in a month!! Would absolutely not recommend to anybody. ZERO help, just frustration. Stupid man. On another note, the receptionist’s are sweet, and also the lady that did all my tests were super friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great service…I had sailed to Airlie Beach and right before departure, in the midst of Cyclone Kirrily’s arrival Cannonvale checked me out when I was feeling ill!

Fantastic experience: I was visiting Airie beach on holiday and my daughter needed to see a doctor. I had called three clinics in search of the same day appointment, with no luck. Thank goodness Cannonvale had availability! They got me in within 30 minutes of my call. The doctor was so kind and thorough; he listened attentively to both my daughter and me. We left with a prescription that we could fill at the nearby pharmacy. Being from the United States, I expected the bill to be three times as much as it was, so the reasonable cost was such a pleasant surprise. It’s awful to fall sick on vacation, but I’m grateful for the healthcare we received at Cannonvale.

Negative experience: One of the rudest doctors i have ever taken my children to see. Sad that my kids walked out and actually asked why he was so grumpy.

Negative experience: Went in for a referral for pathology, the appointment took a total of 3 minutes, that was the only issue addressed. When checking out I was charged for their 6-20 min consult instead of their <6 min consult, to which I was told ‘it might have been short, but multiple issues were addressed’. The 2 stars I did give are for the girls at the front counter because at least they were nice.

Negative experience: a week ago I went to the medical center in Cannonvale but I had a problem with my foot, a small branch had gotten inside me and I couldn't walk and I didn't understand if it was actually there I visited the doctor Dr Ali Farschian and laughingly told me that I had nothing but just an infection after 3 days since it hurt I continued to press to see if it would go away and in addition to the pus coming out the branch that he had told me wasn't there also came out

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk in and meet the beautiful reception team you instantly feel welcomed. I was completely blown away by the amazing doctor I saw, the nurse that gave me an ECG, even the young lady that took my bloody was awesome. Wait time was minimal, the whole experience was perfect. Thank you to everyone who made my first visit so easy. Loved how happy and friendly you all are

Fantastic experience: first time patient for Dr Hasan Helou for a chiropractic assessment and treatment. I had found him recommended on the Whitsunday Chat Facebook group and people were talking highly of his techniques used and their outcomes. I was not disappointed. It’s the first time I have visited a chiropractor and had the most thorough assessment, he knew exactly what was wrong, and how to treat, I rebooked straight away and will continue to be a patient while here in the beautiful Whitsundays.
