Fantastic experience: The nursing staff and doctors here are great! Plenty of 2 hour parking just across the street. Been a patient here for 6 years and now prefer to travel 30 minutes to see them instead of moving to a closer doctor.

Negative experience: Wasting a time. Go there waiting for an hour and didn’t get any treatment and still charged for consultation..literally no consultation and no treatment.. never again

Negative experience: Doctor Joe is the worst. He is just going to tell you everything is fine. Do not worry. Until things get serious and you get to the emergency. Be careful, everyone.

Fantastic experience: Boriana is wonderful as are the staff and other Dr's when she is away. Thorough, experienced and informative. She was recommended by my chemist and they weren't wrong. I am quite ill (long term ) and when possible they squeeze me in or she says to ask for a double appointment. She doesn't just look at her computer. My wife often attends which she has no problem with in fact she and our now 6 month old also see her as their GP.

Negative experience: I called to get an appointment for an urgent matter on a Tuesday, was told didn’t have any appointments until the following week. Asked to see a different GP. nothing available. Said they’d put me on waiting list. No call backs and no advice on what to do in the meantime (it was very urgent). Called the following week to raise this with the practice manager, but he wasn’t around, so I left a message. Didn’t call back, so I called back and surprise surprise he wasn’t around. The receptionist couldn’t even tell me when he would be back. I didn’t get the impression that he was on leave more like they had no idea where he was.

A lot of doctors try to be an expert at everything, which is impossible in the medical field, because there is just far too much to know.

Negative experience: you pay $90 to see a doctor and when you might go over the 7 minutes they allow for you to ask about a potential issue that might require a quick look, you get rushed out and told to book another appointment and they don't have time. wont be going here any more, they are obviously only interested in a revolving door of clients to get the most cash in as they can. Where's the care and attention?! If you don't have time for your patients, book less patients.

Fantastic experience: A routine cholesterol test detected small amounts of protein in my urine. I was not alarmed and dismissive. My doctor insisted on more tests. The end result, stage 3 kidney cancer and the removal of the kidney before it spread. You wish all doctors were as dilligent and insistant. Oakliegh Family Medical Centre is a centre for exellence.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I have seen at this clinic is lovely and professional. They are old school doctors that care for you, rather than rushing you through. The clinic is clean and bright. They also offer many other services such as a skin clinic and allied health and blood tests etc attached. I would recommend them to everyone local.

Negative experience: Tried to charge me $50 to transfer my records to another clinic. Should just be something that gets done without charge, and even if one were to charge it should at most be to recoup costs m it doesn't cost $50 or even close. Definitely don't have their patients actual interests at heart, just their pockets unfortunately. Reminds me of the kind of treatment you might get at Woolamai Pizza, where they straight up insult their customers. Disgusting.

My family doctor is Dr Feiber and he has been looking after my health for many years. In addition to accessing day to day health care, I was able to have all my Covid vaccinations done at the Centre.

Negative experience: Can never get an appointment or even get general information as the doctors are always on holidays,the two times seeing a doctor he made me drop my pants Infront of his table insisting I was lying about my medical condition and then apologised as he had mis diagnosed my information I gave him

The receptionists are polite and very helpful, the nurses are well experienced and specially good with little ones when it's vaccine time, and the various doctors I have seen there have been excellent. In particular Dr Boriana Grozev who my family and I see when needed. She's very thorough, knowledgeable and caring. You may wait a little sometimes as they are busy but worth the wait for a great Dr.
