Fantastic experience: So grateful for the team and Dr. Louis at Mercy Family Doctors. We called on a Saturday desperate to have our daughter seen as she was really unwell. Although we couldn't get in the same day the team made arrangements to get us in the next and it meant that our baby girl didn't have to suffer through a whole weekend. We live regionally and there is no pedatric department at our local hospital and the doctors near us isn't open weekends, so to have a doctor willing to help so quickly and as a new patient we were so grateful. Dr Louis followed our little ones lead let her get comfortable and heard our concerns. Not once did we feel dismissed which as a parent was refreshing. After one visit we intend to make this our regular practice. Thank you for the care you give.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate this clinic more highly. I’ve been looking for a doctor for my (almost) 2 year old, and have visited a few in Pakenham which were fine. It’s the first clinic I’ve been to that had a little children’s section to keep them entertained, which was amazing. The receptionist, Steven (I think) was absolutely lovely, and welcoming. The clinic was clean and tidy. We saw Dr Louis who was INCREDIBLE with my toddler. Upon walking into his office, it was filled with pictures, and arts and crafts from his young patients which was so heart warming to see. He listened, he advised, and he actioned. He was absolutely brilliant, and I’m so happy to say I have found our new family doctor.

Negative experience: Well firstly we were both patients with appointments secondly we arrived at 11.54 left 12.10 thirdly we were not aggressive nor threatening a review was done with utmost honesty I found Dr.louis rude abrupt not prepared to listen and talked over then rings me 4 times to complain about a review that had nothing to do with me when he simply could have called the reviewer that to me speaks in volumes don't ring me ever again to discipline the reviewer

Negative experience: We had attended the clinic after great recommendations for Dr Peter Louis. In summary we had 3 appointments with Dr Louis over a period of 6-9 months in which we expressed some concerns for the development of our son who was not meeting basic milestones. We were told each time "nothing to be worried about" and basically made to feel like his development was normal. After being told this multiple times we got a second opinion from another GP who was concerned with the development and referred us to a paediatrician in which our son has now been given a formal diagnosis and receiving appropriate therapies. If Dr Louis had listened to our concerns earlier, provided more advice or referrals we may have been able to get on top of this earlier. Unfortunately our concerns were not taken seriously and felt that we have been let down. I feel this needs to be expressed so others don't go through what we have. Please listen to parents concerns and provide a proactive approach to your care moving forward.

Fantastic experience: Low wait times unless emergencies, comfortable chairs and sanitary toilets. Great level of care too! Also, it doesn't appear on google maps since google was last updated on 2019, but it is definitely there. The clinic was only recently built.

The clinic Is bulk billing and really welcoming. The staff are really friendly. The clinic has some fun activities for kids to play while waiting. I highly recommend it.

He never tries to rush me out the door like other doctors do. He properly examines me and takes time to understand me and my problems. When I leave other doctors offices I usually have doubt, and question if what they told me was right. I will never see anyone else. He is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen. I NEVER have any doubt with Dr. Peter, he makes me feel confident in what he’s telling me and explains the problem in depth and why it’s happening.
