Fantastic experience: From booking, reception to physio everyone was friendly and professional

Fantastic experience: I came in feeling very sick with vertigo whilst on holidays in Hervey Bay. Whilst not a specialist in this area i was well cared for, and my physio went to a lot of trouble to ensure I was feelin ok (follow up msg) and contacted my regular physio about the treatment. Thanks for your kindness!

Fantastic experience: Booked an appointment and saw the physiotherapist Jacob Walmsley. Receptionist was lovely and warm, greeting you with a smile. Jacob was very thorough with his initial consultation and did multiple tests to ascertain where the issue was arising from, keeping me informed every step of the way. He was professional and knowledgeable, would recommend anyone looking for a physio to see Jacob!

Fantastic experience: I have been getting treatment at this centre by Mia. The pain I have suffered for several weeks has gone from a 9 to a 3. I am very happy to recommend Bayside Physiotherapy to anyone needing help.

Negative experience: Booked online for an initial consultation with a physiotherapist, but thought I'd call to ask what the price was as it was not on the website. I asked the receptionist what was involved in the initial consultation and she came back to me with a I'm not sure? I'm sorry what, how do you not know miss receptionist? Please train your staff correctly, they should know what is involved and what would happen during the $157 first consultation with a physiotherapist. I cancelled my appointment, first impressions are everything for a business.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are amazing. Their knowledge is top notch and their commitment to rehab and getting the most out of minimising your recovery time is great. They do hands on therapy, exercise programs, Pilates reformer, weights and more. If you injure yourself and need some rehab, give them a look.

Fantastic experience: The physio was very good . They are not really hands on . She did give me a massage but $140.00 normal fee is a bit expensive for a talk shown exercise and a massage.

Fantastic experience: I have very complex physical medical conditions and saw Alanah today. She was positive, supportive, listened extremely well and responded perfectly to the severe pain I was in. Her massage skills and interest in what worked best for me were second to none. Well worth the time and money and I can't wait to work with her again. Thank you Alanah....I haven't needed to take the strong pain relief this evening I have had to take usually :)

Negative experience: Hayden was lovely but performed no actual treatment. He asked me questions that I answered on my initial paperwork and at my request he showed me an exercise to do, to strengthen my problem area. He then showed me a belt that I could purchase that might help with the pain. He also showed me on the computer what he believed my issue was. And that was that. $51 out of pocket (after private health) and not even a rub. As stated on my paperwork and in person, I was chasing relief from pain on the day but also some exercises going forward to help alleviate recurring pain long term.

Fantastic experience: An excellent physio practice. Friendly, helpful reception staff who go above and beyond to find appointment times when emergencies arise and physiotherapists who listen to everything you say and respond accordingly. The physiotherapists spend the full appointment time hands on in the room with you (as opposed to hooking you up to a machine and leaving you...which has happened to me at other practices) and leave enough time at the end of the appointment time for questions or advice regarding follow ups. The appointments I have had are on time every single time, so you are never left sitting waiting. As an active sports person I am thoroughly impressed with the physio’s knowledge of sporting injuries and sporting bio mechanics and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this practice.

Fantastic experience: Mark Cassidy is the man! Been to Mark for a while with ailments, great service, great receptionists. Just need to find a new body so I can stop going there!....

Negative experience: I booked a half hour back massage of which she couldn’t manage to fit my neck in, luckily, because I could hardly walk out. I’ve had to take panadine fort and spend the rest of the day in bed. After taking my booking the receptionist made sure I felt bad about booking 30 mins as they don’t usually do half hour appointments. The therapist also said she couldn’t fit much in to a half hour.
