Fantastic experience: I was having trouble sleeping. Well it was more than that really. Chronic insomnia for two years. I had tried everything, or so I thought and I was getting desperate. My diet was good, I was exercising regularly, despite having no energy and was relying on sleeping pills every night to sleep. I knew it wasn't sustainable. I went into my local chemist for more sleeping pills and a new female locum chemist asked if I'd tried a naturopath. I hadn't. Accupuncture, hypnotherapy, yes, but not a naturopath. After some google research I found Vanessa. From our initial chat, she thought she could help me. She took a look at my blood test results and told me to find another doctor (previous one refused to put me on HRT) and then told me specifically what to ask for. It was the lack of progesterone that was preventing me from sleeping. After ONE night on HRT I was sleeping again and have for EVERY night since. That was 6 weeks ago. She also recommended some super supplements and a fantastic book about female hormones that blew my mind and I've recommended it to all of my friends. Fantastic experience: My daughter and I booked in with Vanessa during a very difficult time in which my daughter was presenting with an overwhelming amount of physical symptoms that were impacting us greatly. We had been to seek help from many Dr's and therapists all of which helped contribute to my daughter's care, however we were still unknown to why my daughter was suffering from a range of things including major anxiety, rashes, nausea, vertigo etc all of which the Dr's would move towards diagnosing and medicating her. Once we visited Vanessa she was able to identify that she was having a allergic reaction and overdrive histamine release in her body. We identified through blood test what foods to avoid and Vanessa provided herbs, flowers and oral treatments that assisted Sasha's body to reduce histamine and calm the over driven nervous system and vagus nerve. We are continuing in the gut health microbiome to aid in reducing allergy/histamine response to foods and overall resilience/health. Overall my daughter's health has improved greatly and given her the space to grow and thrive again. All of this without going down a different track of diagnosis and clinical medication before knowing what was really going on. We addressed the issue instead of just nameing and masking it. Fantastic experience: This will be long, but bare with me: I can’t describe how much she has exponentially helped me over the months. For over two years my day to day life was hindered by how much pain I was in. Between digestive pain, pelvic pain and bowel pain, I was so frustrated and lost. I went to gyne and gastro specialists all to be told to a point “it just is what it is”. Or “it’s a mystery”. Within my first visit, I felt heard and supported, and like I had someone with me to help suss out all the contradictory advice I had received from medical professions. The second visit I was already feeling like I could tangibly work on getting better and having a light at the end of the tunnel. Fantastic experience: After years of seeing all kinds of different doctors, practitioners, specialist, and going through surgery, treatments, blood tests, investigations, and different medications and supplements - I still didn't get the answers to why my symptoms persisted and kept on getting worse. I kept on being told that my symptoms was related to my Endometriosis/Adenomyosis and the mental and emotional stress that comes with this disease. I knew deep down that it had to be more to the story, but doctors were too blinded by my disease that they wouldn't look further into it. Fantastic experience: Vanessa is a wizard, a Sharman, a scientist and an Earth Mama Healer. I completely trust her with my health, and that of my children. I have been coming to Vanessa for years when I feel a little off or like I could do with some support. She embodies 'holistic healing' asking questions way beyond scope and getting the full picture. I wish my GP was this good. As with most natural modalities, I find this way of addressing health concerns is the long road and takes commitment. But Vanessa is looking for and addressing the cause of the issue, not just prescribing something to quickly mask the symptoms. If you put in the work and actually does what she says, your health WILL improve. I tell everyone with gut or hormone concerns to go and see her, she is a genius in these areas. Just be careful, she is a little TOO good at getting those hormones right - you might just find yourself pregnant! (Although technically she's not entirely to blame ;) ) She has a beautiful open manner, down to earth but also realistic. I was confident in sending my health food resistant teenager to Vanessa, knowing she would start with where she was, and work towards baby steps that didn't seem overwhelming. I count Vanessa a core member of my wellness team and couldn't rate her higher.

Fantastic experience: I didn't really know what a naturopath did until being recommended Vanessa. I was suffering from hormonal issues and a byproduct of related symptoms (skin breakouts, mood swings, irregular period, depressive slumps, vitamin deficiencies, etc.) after choosing to come off the contraceptive pill for the first time since I was a teenager.
