Fantastic experience: I have been going regularly to Health Space Newtown for almost 7 years. Since I practice ashtanga yoga, cycle almost every day and lately go to the gym, recovery and injury prevention are a priority for me. I started seeing Jon for acupuncture after knee surgery, and the results were incredible, speacially the pain relief. He has been my accupuncturist since then. After that I decided to see Ben for neck and lower back injury, and his treatment has helped alleviate multiple other injuries. Lately I have also tried Pablo's massages to recover even faster. I could not speak more highly of Jon Hanlon, Ben Treeby, Pablo Chavez and the entire Newtown team. They are a bunch of amazing, caring, genuine and profesional people. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing neck pain which was radiating down to my right elbow up until about 2 weeks ago. (This has been intermittent at a level of discomfort of about a 5 out of 10) however 2 weeks ago it had flared up worse than it had been in the past. 3 chiropractic adjustments later & my neck pain is completely gone. Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Health Space Newtown for almost a year, and never hesitate in recommending them. Ben Treeby is a super knowledgeable chiropractor who integrates different techniques into the treatment while explaining what and why. As an athlete who trains in a pretty demanding sport, and a barista with scoliosis, I can present a wide variety of complaints and niggles. On leaving the clinic, I always feel better not just from the treatment itself but from the plan moving forward; whether that be specific exercises, adjustments to training, or prioritising sleep. Ben is incredibly generous with his time, experience and wisdom, and i'm impressed with his enthusiasm for continually learning/evolving. I'm very appreciative of not just him, but everyone at Health Space Newtown.

Positive experience: Good Chiropractic service but they are selling crystals and advertising events about healing powers of different crystal vibrations, which makes people question the validity of the chiropractic service next to such quackery. won't go back again unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: I saw Lucy Heller when I was 38 weeks pregnant for induction acupuncture as suggested by my midwife. Lucy was excellent, professional, knowledgable and calming. The bed was heated and the treatment made me fall asleep. Being my first pregnancy I was fully expecting to go over my due date - however I went into labour 2 days later. I would highly recommend Lucy for acupuncture especially for pregnant patients wishing to induce labour!

Fantastic experience: In 2018 I developed frozen shoulder, following a rotator cuff tear. My shoulder was completely locked up with limited movement. I went to several physio’s who were unable to improve the situation. I was told to come back in the “thawing stage”, which is about one year on. Then I visited Dr. Callum Forrest, who is trained in the “Spencer” technique in the U.K.. After the first treatment I was able to put my hand on my head! (previously I could only reach my jaw). After the second visit I was able to lift my whole arm above my shoulder. After the third visit, my arm stopped aching during the night (which woke me up every night for 6 months). After the fourth visit I started back swimming. After the sixth visit, I started back at the gym (albeit lightly). I highly recommend Dr. Callum Forrest to frozen shoulder sufferers.

Fantastic experience: Kevin Jalop is a miracle worker. I can't recommend Kevin as a remedial massage therapist enough. His deep tissue ability & work has saved me. Literally. I'm not one to write reviews but in this case I had to make the effort and the exception. My upper & lower back were tight as bridge tension wires. Kevin has given me renewed flexibility and turned the clock back to my mid twenties as far as my back feels. I highly recommend Kevin if you have any need for remedial massage.

Fantastic experience: Laelia Douglas-Brown is an outstanding acupuncture therapist. Her expertise has helped keep me healthy, strong and competitive and has been especially useful for soft-tissue injuries. I recommend her without reservation.

Negative experience: Extremely ineffective treatment done by a chiropractor. The deep tissue work aggravated my lower back. Repeated attempts to crack my back failed which meant the practitioner tried harder putting me in a great deal of pain with no success still. I definitely do not feel anything positive from this experience and definitely would not recommend. I have years of experience seeing chiropractors and physios for my back problems all over Australia. This was definitely the worst and most expensive out of the lot.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jen Lew is an extremely caring practitioner. She really looks at your body as a whole and doesn't simply "crack" you like many other chiropractors. As a fitness professional, I have been seeing Dr. Lew on a 6 week cycle for maintenance and my body is thankful for her help! She also explains the reasons why the body is in its state so you can learn to manage the eventual pain and fix it. Strongly recommend her services.

Fantastic experience: I have been nursing since 1983 when some of the lifting techniques that we were taught are now illegal . After a back injury 8 years ago and months of physiotherapy referred from the hospital, I tried Bret after a friend's recommendation. The difference was amazing. I have a quick adjustment between every three months to every three weeks depending on whether I feel a niggle. I have made him promise me that he must keep adjusting my back after I retire and into my old age!

Fantastic experience: Brett from Back Together Chiropractic is definitely one of the most professional Chiros I've been to in Sydney. I've used several Chiropractors since the age of roughly 6 or seven. Looking back as an adult, I realise there is a real difference between professionals in this field. I have never suffered at the hands of a Chiro and I think they get a bad rap from ill-informed patients and mass media hysteria. Brett's approach is very formal, gentle but super effective. I won't lie, sometimes I experience discomfort in the adjustment but the long term benefits are evident in my posture, lack of pain and overall positive vibe. Yarn at reception is awesome and loves a chat, very efficient at sending text reminders before appointments and helping the office run smoothly.

Fantastic experience: Since working in an office for the past few years I've suffered from upper back and shoulder pain - mainly from bad posture and hunching over my computer. It got really bad in October 2012 and that's when I went to see Brett, and I was glad I did. The pain was immediately eased and the back problems are now a distant memory. I'd never been to chiro before but Brett explained the treatment thoroughly and put my program in place. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Back Together for almost 1.5 years - I have stayed with Brett the chiropractor as after almost 10 years of problems I have finally found a solution to my upper and lower back problems.
