Negative experience: If you need to travel more than an hour to Measure Up, I’d call to confirm they can keep your appointment. I appreciate emergencies happen, however they called me 1 hour before my appointment to tell me that they couldn’t honour it doesn’t work for me or other people. The staff member that served me (10/1/24) informed me that I wouldn’t be able to reschedule until February. Very disappointed, I expected better customer service.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to measure up for years , but won’t be anymore . I have been trying for months to get an appointment when I’m in Sydney and go on the cancelation list . But no callback , but today I look and there was a free spot in 50 minutes so I booked it and ran into the city . Parked the car in valet which was basically the same cost as the scan !! But I went to there old address raced across to the new address. They called me a 2 minutes after my time slot , I said I’ll be 5 minutes I wouldn’t been 7 minutes late ! The girl on the phone was so direct and blunt well we will have to cancel and reschedule. I was in complete shock I understand that 7 minutes is late , but if they are leaving any gaps in the day for people running late or yourselves running late then clearly they are just there to pump out the customers in 15 minutes blocks ..and cash in. I won’t be sending anymore customers their way although looks like they don’t need it .. Make sure to have a good google search plenty of places even walk in places can do a scan for you .

Negative experience: I tried to contact them if the dexa scan is covered by private health. They never responded.

Negative experience: Very bad service. The guy wants you in and out even though you paid a 100$. My first scan was good in 2021 and the girl at time took her full 15 mins to talk to me. Today, the guy barely wanted to speak about the results and he was rushing me out in the first 7 mins even though I came 10 mins earlier for the appointment. Thats all because the previous appointment showed up late and they wanted to make it up with mine. This is the second time I feel rushed with the same guy.

Negative experience: I did two dexa scans with measure ups, few months ago , they were accurate compared to my home device. I did another dexa scan this year , and there was 3 kg difference . I double checked my weight at home , and with different devices at the gym club and my office : all three shows I am 88kg. Dexa scan show I am 85kg. When asking for explanation, I have been told this is normal. I will Never return there.

Fantastic experience: MeasureUp's Pitt Street premises are conveniently located in the heart of the CBA and offer DEXA scanning at a competitive price. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the process itself has been streamlined to make it as user-friendly as it could reasonably be. The scan itself is quick (<3 minutes), and the feedback you receive after the scan, and the PDF reports, are excellent. Being able to create a user account and log in to download copies of the reports when needed is also useful. It's hard to see what MeasureUP could really do better - their processes are great, their staff are great, the customer portal is excellent. All in all it's hard to see why you'd go anywhere else.

Positive experience: The 15min Dexa scan was great! Prompt on the appointment, a quick 3-minute scan and a quick run through my results and how these aligned with my goals. The service was great and it was handy to receive the reports sent via email! Well worth it to help you know generally how you bone, fat and muscle content is against where you should be...

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience! A week after I made a booking, and received conformation . Pitt st office left me voice msg letting me know that my time is not available anymore and I need to call them back to move my appointment. After calling twice and explaining my situation to 2 different people (as they don't have direct number and person who left the msg didn't leave me her extension number) they couldn't transfer me to the right person as she was unavailable...I spent 20 min on the line just waiting...And I still couldn't get a hold of the right person! Unbelievable! Definitely looking for another place
