Fantastic experience: I can’t sing Kiah’s praises enough. They looked after me at a really challenging time in my life and their care, compassion and skill as an acupuncturist I believe made all difference to my fertility journey. They also took great care of me during my eventual pregnancy with twins and Kiah’s expert acupuncture was the only thing that gave me relief from severe back pain in my third trimester!

My massuse was Ashley. She was so gentle when needed and used the right pressure when I needed. Took great care to get me in and out of massage positions.

Fantastic experience: I had been recommended treatment with Fe / Effie for the multiple and intersecting health issues I've had this year due to being diagnosed with dysautonomia from Long COVID. I had a lot to disclose after 9+ months of complications, from cardiovascular issues to GI issues and mental and emotional distress. Effie was so thorough and made me feel totally safe and at ease- no mean feat when addressing topics like menstrual cycles and binding with a gender non-conforming client. It was an exceptional experience to be met with such kindess, warmth, and professionalism. The release I felt instantly around my diaphragm from cupping, and from acupuncture for my lungs and pericardium, was remarkable. I walked out feeling calmer and more aligned than I have in months. Since my treatment and since taking the herbs Effie prepared and prescribed, I can actively feel my body attending to itself, really healing. Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: If you are in Melbourne and you are looking for the best in natural fertility support you are in the right place. This is a practice dedicated to collaboration - with you and your medical providers - and between the therapists who share your care in house. I have moved my acupuncture practice to Queensland but I still refer my fertility patients to the naturopaths at Fertile Ground for online consultations as I know first-hand how informed, dedicated and excellent they are. The knowledge base at Fertile Ground is top notch encompassing traditional healing knowledge and the latest in Western medical science. Charmaine Dennis (Co-Director) and Gina Fox (Senior Naturopath) are also the creators of the Be Fertile meditation series which I recommend to patients on a daily basis. There are so many wonderful practitioners here. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I came here during my pregnancy of my first baby, I saw Michelle who was beyond excellent. Every time I came in with an issue; sore hips, sore back, swelling of the feet... they were gone the day after the massage. Michelle is amazing, I highly recommend her services. The space is warm, inviting, and beautiful. I intially felt the price was quite expensive but given the level of service I feel it's completely justified. I hope you do too.

Fantastic experience: I came here at 39 weeks + 2 pregnant for a labour-inducing acupuncture session. Never had acupuncture before but was just trying different things to go into labour spontaneously to avoid getting induced at 41 weeks. The practitioner was very confident and in actual fact, I went into labour the very next day hahaha. It's hard to say if this worked because I was already having contractions for about a week (probably in latent Labour) but I will say it was very relaxing. I walked out feeling less anxious and stressed about the possibility of getting induced and that's a win! So I recommend it in any case.

Fantastic experience: Bonnie the osteopath is brilliant, the symptoms I was experiencing with my body and the aches and pains were all indentified to what cause and factor and it was a light bulb moment like aha! Finially someone gets me that was a relief in itself aswell as the treatment she did for me was just great, on the road to recovery and can't wait for my next session. Highly recommended! The clinic is a beautiful setting offering herbal teas in the waiting room with nice indoor plants around you could feel more at ease just sitting in the waiting area. Thank you for your amazing work you do for the Birth of human kind, truely remarkable.

Sage has given me clear insight into my health conditions, with appropriate recommendations on how to address them. Most importantly from the get go Sage has been validating of my experience where other health professionals haven’t, and my experiences with her as a LGBTIAQ+ person have been outstanding. I would recommend her to anyone, and have even done so to friends and family!

Fantastic experience: Tina Jenkins at Fertile Ground is truly life changing. I have been seeing Tina on and off now for years - prior to the conception of my daughter two years ago and recently, post-natal due to suffering from immense exhaustion, hormonal issues and mental health concerns. Within moments, Tina was able to address my blood test results and give me a prognosis that medical professionals have been unable to for 12 months - and within weeks of taking her recommended herbs and supplements, has enabled me to feel better than I have in a long time. It is truly fantastic the level of care and attention Tina pays to getting your progosis right. She is a fantastic listener, incredibly detailed and diligent - and can honestly make the most unbelievable difference to your quality of life almost instantly. In addition, the Reception team are so lovely and friendly. I am so glad to have found Tina and Fertile Ground. It is worth every penny - and you cannot put a price on the incredible impact this place (and Tina) has on your health and wellbeing.

Negative experience: My initial naturopath appointment cost me $700 (with a handful of supplements- which of course I found online at a fraction of the price). Despite my initial bank account blow, I was happy to have a follow up appointment a few months later. After receiving some blood test results I had a simple yes/no question to ask a naturopath. The initial naturopath I had was currently on leave so I emailed and called the admin team to see if there was naturopath on hand who could answer my urgent but simple question. The short answer was NO- and rather I would need to make a short 15minute appointment to answer my question. With a standard 30 minute appointment costing $105 I would presume my 15 minute appointment would cost $52.50. Despite literally crying on the phone over the situation I found myself in and the care and support I needed as a CURRENT client I was denied of this and rather asked to continue to pay hefty pricing for a simple question that would have taken 2 minutes of a practitioners time. The level of service and support I received from Fertile Ground is unacceptable. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Their pricing is through the roof and like I said I’ve found all of their practitioner products (metagenics, biomedica etc) online for far cheaper. In my opinion this company takes advantage of vulnerable people in a vulnerable state and is most definitely not willing to go that extra mile (or even a fraction of a mile) for their clients. Save your money & frustration and find a supportive and kind clinic that puts their clients FIRST and not a money hungry business.

Negative experience: Pregnancy massage itself was good but I was unble to relax due to the massage room having very limited sound proofing, there is an office right next door and an interview was being conducted which was very distracting, in addition there was a jackhammer with construction nearby. A disappointing experience all in all after taking a day off work to try and finally unwind a bit before baby’s arrival. Feedback was given about the noise at the time with reception.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tina is wonderful in diagnosing and treating the disease. I had an acute case of acid reflux and sinus which are now almost cured. You would feel very confident in her care.

Fantastic experience: Rachel was lovely and very gentle. She thoroughly went through my medical history to assess where treatments can help. The facility is calming and tranquil, reminds me a bit of a day spa. I felt very relaxed during and after my acupuncture treatment. Note that Rachel specialises in Japanese acupuncture.

Fantastic experience: After 4 years of failed attempts at pregnancy (including a couple of fairly significant setbacks) I was referred to Fertile Ground Health Group and was pregnant within 3 months. I was on fertility treatment at the time but really do believe that the process was helped with the acupuncture as we had been on the treatment on and off for the past 3 years without success. I initially saw Jacinta who was amazing before she left and more recently Amy who has also been amazing with helping me deal with anxiety related to the pregnancy (due to previous setbacks). I totally recommend acupuncture at Fertile Ground for both fertility and for managing anxiety and stress.

Fantastic experience: I have a special place in my heart for Fertile Ground after Milly and Gina helped me through a stressful pregnancy. I had a condition of pregnancy with my first two babies. My first was born healthy but my second was stillborn at 35 weeks. Milly and Gina's care kept me on level ground emotionally and ensured that the condition did not reoccur. I also had a pregnancy massage which was wonderful, and enjoyed drinking the various teas the clinic sells.
