Fantastic experience: Dr Jane Foley was referred to me by another health professional and it’s clear why. Jane is a compassionate and thorough GP.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Venith is the best doctor ever. My son coughed a lot for 5 days. The previous 2 doctors gave him medicines and he did not get better and the cough got worse until we had the chance to see Doctor Venith. His antibiotic worked on my son’s cough. My son is recovering now. Doctor Venith also spent time to called and checked on my son’s condition after 2 days seeing him in person. Really appreciate doctor Venith’s professional acknowledgement and passion. We will definitely see doctor Venith for my son’s future health issues.

Fantastic experience: Dr Oi Mun Chan is a highly professional, knowledgeable and kind doctor, who has great availability for me to see her! The receptionists are also helpful and friendly. I am very happy with my care at this clinic ☺️

Fantastic experience: Dr Jane Foley is the best GP I have found in years, she is caring and understanding and none judgemental, really listens, very thorough and really good at explaining things to me, called me back after blood result and took the time to come up with a treatment plan that is good for my physical and mental health! High recommended!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Dr. Oi Mun Chan enough. She’s a fantastic doctor with an incredible depth of knowledge and a genuine commitment to her patients. As someone who is queer, BIPOC, and neurodivergent, I’ve often struggled to feel truly seen by healthcare providers. With Dr. Chan, that’s never been an issue. From the start, she has been empathetic, validating, and trustworthy. She has been instrumental in supporting me through my ADHD journey and has been a true ally as we've worked through various health challenges. For the first time, I feel like my voice matters and that my experiences are acknowledged. Dr. Chan listens attentively, values my perspective, and empowers me to make decisions about my health and life. She’s helped me make some bold and important changes, and I always leave our sessions feeling clear, understood, and more confident. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly supportive doctor, Dr. Oi Mun Chan is the one to see!

Fantastic experience: Excellent care. Especially from Courtney the nurse who looked after me today. She went above and beyond to make it a good experience.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment at this clinic, was sent upstairs on my arrival. No one called my name upon my appointment time. The clinic made an error and almost made me miss my appointment. The doctor eventually saw me. Took all necessary tests. Now the results are complete.. and they require me to make another appointment just to look at my results When my results are all negative and non urgent. They refuse to release my results or send them by email Forcing me to book a useless appointment and be out of pocket again just to view something I already paid for. Disgraceful clinic.

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly and helpful reception staff. Dr Foley is a gem and very welcoming and thorough. Didn’t feel like I was being rushed through. Would highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Just started seeing doctor Jane Foley as my permanent GP, best experience with the medical system I've ever had. They are so helpful and patient. The care feels very tailored. I also get TCM treatment with Christine Lee and she is amazing.

Fantastic experience: Dr Vin is a holy grail GP/medical practitioner. He has been my GP for years and is so calm, kind and nonjudgmental. He has gotten to the root cause of some complex physical and mental health things that I would likely never have had treated properly if not for his thoroughness, expertise and kindness. He always takes the time to really listen and is clearly committed to providing genuine care and holistic treatment. Truly so glad I found such an incredible doctor. Also had great experiences seeing Dr Oi. TY TNC!

Negative experience: When it comes to communication and aftercare, they are neither responsive nor ethical. This is by far the least caring medical centre I've encountered. A few doctors I have seen there seem more interested in rebooking patients and charging for unnecessary matters than in providing genuine care.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, ignore urgent requests- I have been trying to get in with my doctor for an urgent appointment re my mental health. I was then given 2 other doctors as a recommendation but still can’t get in for weeks/they don’t try to problem solve with you, just say they’re unavailable. Horrible service and has forced me to change doctors.

Fantastic experience: Very wonderful and caring staff, including all medical professionals and the receptionist team. Always do everything they can to help me out, and assist in any problems I have. Great GPs who listen and care for their patients!

Positive experience: Great Health professionals. Terrible reception staff. Appointments get cancelled and they don’t let you know It’s happened multiple times.

Negative experience: My best friend was involved in an unfortunate serious accident in Malaysia which was actually a hit and run, making it seem worse. His treatment, once stabilised, was actually really amazing. He returned home and upon arriving in Australia on a stretcher he was told he would need a referral from a GP to proceed with follow-up surgery. All documents in order. He currently has an ankle to hip external steel brace with screws fitted to the bone. I have been a patient at Neighbourhood Clinic for a couple of years and have experienced mostly warm and professional experiences for scripts and more female specific advice. Always pretty good. Decided to take my friend yesterday and followed their protocol, explained our needs, whether or not they could accomodate- wheelchair request, extent of injuries, need for referral, new patient etc, understand if unable to .We were told we could come for consultation and a nurse would be in attendance to check dressings and change them if necessary. K, no nurse, sick, checked in, no help available, passerby offering help, clients holding doors, receptionists chatting about mid seasons fashions, i was holding his leg all the while, no chairs moved, no 'hello are you ok, how can we help', surly, annoyed and we were totally ignored. Understaffed, (not the receptiorg for no reason is just remiss and senseless plus sternly telling me no help was available. Let alone to judge us and be angry and show annoyance when it was not our fault the nurse called in sick.te No aletrnatives or other care assistance suggested, like Co Health.Amazing

Positive experience: Ended up walking out. The GP's need to be more respectful of people. I’ll not return to them. Osteo is faultless though, highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Best doctors in Melbourne, all staff are kind and professional and the space is lovely and soothing unlike most clinics. Dr Adjoa is amazing, thank you!

Fantastic experience: One of the telephone attendants was quite rude to me for changing my appointment timings, which I had to due to unavoidable circumstances. But apart from that I had a good experience there and Dr Smrithya has been supportive at every step and gave the best advice and recommendations.

Negative experience: Very hit and miss here depending on which Dr you manage to see. I’ve been attending for a few years and seen a couple of excellent professional and compassionate GPs, but there is high turn over and several of the doctors I’ve seen have been disinterested, not empathetic at all and almost seem annoyed! In a 15mins consultation at a clinic that promotes itself as holistic and caring, that’s pretty disappointing. I’m now looking for a new GP.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chris Eddy is an amazing acupuncturist who played a crucial role in my healing journey! He always listens and troubleshoots issues very specifically. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Negative experience: In 2019, I saw osteopath Dr Nicholas Arora. I presented with severe back pain at only 25 years old. I was apprehensive but Dr Arora insisted I could be seen without a CT or MRI scan. I had acutely hemorrhaged disc in L4/L5. Dr Arora manipulated my back, pressed into the painful area, and gave me home exercises, which were too painful to complete. Shortly after seeing him, I presented at RM Hospital. Immediately, I had an MRI and emergency surgery to remove the disc and part of the vertebrae. I sought Dr Arora's services as a novice and relied on his expertise to know what to do. DO NOT let anyone manipulate your back without getting a scan first.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Osteopathy with Anthony following a serious car accident and am deeply grateful. I’ve found the practice highly skilled, respectful and invested in my health as a whole. The clinic overall is very organised and a welcoming space. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Went in today for a check and to have bloods taken, Dr Chan was professional and great as usual. The nurse who took my bloods was amazing. The “small prick” was nothing at all, and she answered the questions I had. Couldn’t be happier highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have only really used the clinic for Nick, their incredible osteo. I cannot recommend him enough, not only is he generally lovely to deal with, but he also takes time to listen, assess your problem and provide holistic treatment of your entire body to help the problematic area. I have seen him for two different issues now and both times he has been amazing.

Fantastic experience: I see Christine the Traditional Chinese Medical practitioner and Acupuncturist and she is so incredibly, kind, considerate and logical in her approach to treatment. She has helped me so much in balancing my hormones. I look forward to every treatment. Couldn’t recommend her enough! The space is also calming to be in and reception is always lovely.

Negative experience: Really bad I would even goes as far to say awful the way I was treated. They have no duty of care and are extremely judgemental. The doctor tells me they don't want to see me because I live to far away but locate me with a doctor that's further away complete joke! Discussing people skills!

Fantastic experience: I've been wanting to find my go-to GP rather than bouncing around seeing different doctors and I'm rapt to have found Dr Katie Reid. I saw her a few times over the past couple of weeks and I'm blown away with how kind, caring and compassionate she is. Yes, that's how GPs should be, but unfortunately, not all of them are. She is genuine and I felt comfortable and cared for in the way that any patient should feel when they need medical care. I hope she never leaves!

Fantastic experience: Dr Katie Reid is one of the best GP in town. She’s been my GP since 2020, when I moved to melbourne. She’s very calm, understanding and passionate with helping me with everything. And, I truly appreciate how great she is and how she has supported me with my medical needs. I’m very grateful to have a GP like her. I’ve always been so comfortable to confide my health conditions. She’s one of the best GP you will ever encounter. Thank you so much for your time, Dr Katie.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant doctors, and very helpful. I had to get a Covid test done four days before travelling back home to show the airline. I rung a few doctors to see if this was possible and the Neighbourhood clinic was the best! Extremely helpful. Especially to DR Chen who booked my appointments, Lisa for taking the test and Taylor & Lexi for answering my phones calls and chasing the where about's of my results! Thank you all so much. I really appreciate it.

Negative experience: **edit, as I could not reply the response directly below** Bill, What you understand to be ‘inconveniences’, I see as examples of unprofessionalism. Perhaps not independently, but tallied up, and forming all but one experience I’ve had with Neighbourhood Clinic. After the second late arrival of the doctor, I provided feedback to your receptionist, who was fully aware of the whole situation and immediately accepted that it wasn’t satisfactory. By the time I had noticed the incorrect information on my referral, I had already decided that I wouldn’t be returning to Neighbourhood Clinic, because of the three poor experiences in a row. Finally, I understand you’re a private clinic. However you do have an option to bulk bill the COVID tests, which was what I asked, and was informed was not possible. I have no issue with your doctors, nurses and support team on this particular issue – I appreciate and am grateful for the work they are doing at this time and under these incredibly difficult circumstances. My review is for the Clinic in general. I was finally compelled to write it due to the Clinic’s decision to charge $85 for a Telehealth consult and COVID test during a pandemic, and not offering a bulk billing option. I think that is a one star decision. Emma [original post] Neighbourhood Clinic are advertising that they do COVID-19 testing, however will not test you without a standard consultation with one of their doctors – $85. This is actually terrible – we're in the middle of a pandemic, and they are still gouging. I was already off this clinic after the last two times I needed to see the doctor, I booked the first appointment of the day, and both times the doctor arrived for their shift 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment...walked straight past me in the waiting room! Finally, on a referral for a specialist I required, it wasn't until I got home to make the appointment that I realised the doctor had copy and pasted my details onto someone else's referral, but had left the other patient's name throughout the document. (FYI- they recommended I go to the drive through testing centres, however the wait times are in excess of 2 hours – and you need a car.)

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone Neighbourhood Clinic We sent a few patients your way this week to get tested. Thank you!! So few clinics are doing this, especially for paeds patients let alone by appointment. Doing this is a service to the community that costs a lot of nursing and GP hours and it is one that most of us either can't do (we have no parking) or won't do due to the hassle/finances. Yours in solidarity ESMC PS they all came back negative and lets hope it stays that way!! C'mon Victoria!!!

Fantastic experience: Thanks for such an easy experience. From Stella at reception explaining what to do, to Dr Thong and a straight forward and lovely chat, to the nurse who did the covid test, it was a breeze. Thank you for being a great neighbourhood clinic. Love your work :)

Fantastic experience: I was discharged from hospital after suffering with pneumonia with the instructions that if any symptoms returned to go straight to my G.P. to start another course of antibiotics. Due to a Public Holiday, I rang the locum service recommended by my clinic and she stressed to see my doctor as soon as possible. After trying to get an appointment for 2 days, I attempted to ring her. She refused my call and wouldn't prescribe the meds I needed. Thank goodness I was able to get a Telehealth appointment here. The receptionist was lovely and eager to help,as was the doctor(Dr. Chan). She gave me a thorough consultation and prescribed what I needed and the scripts were faxed within 5mins. to the Chemist of my choice. Thank you to everyone that I dealt with.

Fantastic experience: I swear by the osteopaths. They work in conjunction with Exercise Physiologists which means the exercises I do are well structured and monitored. Friendly and welcoming clinic.

Fantastic experience: I see Dr Nick Arora here and he’s always been supportive, helpful and insightful to any issues I come in with. Lovely space and easily accessible location in a short walk from Rushall station and the 96 tram. It’s also across the road from an Alexander technique centre which is also very helpful!
