Fantastic experience: I am in my late sixties and have had a very long history of gut problems for which I have tried countless different practitioners of all forms and Dr Google search’s lead me down rabbit holes of total confusion and distress. Jessica Cox Nutrition was recommended by a trusted friend, to whom I’m eternally grateful. Jess has guided me through some tough, dark times in my journey. Through hard work and support from my side and Jess’s expertise, knowledge, passion and care in helping me, this experience has been truly life changing for myself and my daughter. I can’t thank you enough Jess.

Fantastic experience: After dealing with a stomach issue and multiple hospital visits for years, no GP could put a finger on the problem. At a last-ditch effort, I found the JCN clinic in a Google search and have had really positive results, finding the root cause and treating my stomach issue head-on. Can’t recommend Christine and the JCN clinic enough for pulling me out of my worry and their continual support.

Negative experience: Cannot recommend if you have gut dysbiosis and require a targeted approach. I would recommend seeking out an Integrative GP and Specialist Naturopath (to your condition) and then if you need specific help with food, a Registered Dietitian through Medicare. The clinic is expensive, and not covered through medicare so it's a big gamble. Especially if you are desperate. I'm leaving this review because should I have followed their plan, and their advice, it would have been catastrophic for my life. I was made to feel that I was too complex, too difficult and that treating my condition directly would be more dangerous than leaving it. Whilst I respect their position, qualification and expertise - I feel I was given a copy paste job - when I needed an individual treatment. They are clearly very lovely people, who care a lot, and have helped a lot of people, I can't discredit from the wonderful work they do. Thats why I came to them. They did make a mistake with me. I was given a meal plan that didn't feel right, and I checked with AI who confirmed it wasn't. When I questioned this (very upset) rather than given an explanation, I was shut down, and told what I was given was what was best for my overall health and basically because they have degrees, they know better than AI. Well, my "gut" told me to go with AI... So I stuck with the plan that AI gave me, and I had great results.... I later recruited an Integrative GP and Specialist Naturopath for my condition... When I showed my naturopath the meal plan I was given by JCN, he laughed... and it was the validation I needed for the journey I had been on and now, under the advice of these practitioners, I still use AI for my meal plans today.

Fantastic experience: Best in the business. Professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. You feel comfortable having a real conversation with Jess about anything nutrition or food-related. She 'gets it' that some of us have shame around food, and works with kindness and a grounded non-judgemental approach to help you smash your goals. If it could give a thousand stars, I would!

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I have used Jessica Cox Nutrition Clinic the first being many years ago when it was only Jessica. Then last year it became apparent that I need assistance to work out some issues. Now being a nutritionist myself, it can be difficult, because it is myself, though easy to self-diagnose because of my knowledge. I had tried numerous things until my partner and I realised nothing was working. That is when I reached out to the clinic and found Roshelle Colegrove. Roshelle was unbelievably compassionate and knowledgeable that within a week or two we had ridden me of the main issue, it took a little longer to flush out the rest of it but by the end of 3 months, we had knocked it all on a head. Roshelle was always able to provide recipes and ideas for me whilst in restriction and again when we began to add foods back in. I also love the website for recipes, and some I have been using for 10 years or so.

Fantastic experience: I was skeptical seeing a Naturopath, but Roshelle at JCN has been a lifesaver! After multiple gaslighting incidents with medical practioners, being told 'nothing was wrong' and that there is 'nothing that can be done' for the 'made up pain' I reached out to Roshelle. Within days she saw me and started me on an incredible treatment plan. With determination and time my gut started to settle and we found out something was out of balance. Thank you Roshelle for your compassion and guidance during a difficult time.

Fantastic experience: 5+++ stars. I am currently working with Carissa who is the most knowledgeable, supportive and friendly professional to have on your side. The JCN clinic has given me my quality of life back through working on my gut and hormones, preventing me having more bowel surgery. The support and knowledge that you receive is next to none and what may be overwhelming is made so simple. From taking a thorough history to explaining test results and then how this is applied practically with food plans and recipes as well as supplement support, I can only give praise. I love the range of wholefoods and recipes I have been introduced to. I thought I share my story. I presented to the JCN clinic (tele consult) being only to digest liquid food due to multiple bowel intussusceptions caused by scar tissue from previous bowel/gallbladder/common bile duct surgery. The only option that my specialist had given me was to eat less (he told me I was overeating…) and told me that surgery was inevitable, needless to say my weight was dropping dramatically (down to 46kg) and I was not getting anywhere near the nutrients I required. I was a wreck! Flip to 3 years later, I now have a great working gut, my hormones are happy, I am a healthy weight and I am loving a wholefood diet. No surgery for me! I am back to my road cycling and am enjoying life and this would not be possible without the support I received from the JCN clinic. You are all amazing, knowledgeable professional nutritionists at the forefront of the gut and hormone space. THANKYOU from the bottom of my heart.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Carissa after being diagnosed with ceoliac disease and still having gut symptoms following a strict gluten free diet. Carissa quickly helped me identify other foods that were causing me issues and gave me supplements to help my gut which made a massive difference! She is the first Nutritionist I've seen who really was specific in treating MY issues, not just a generalised basic plan for anyone. She is now helping me through my pregnancy too. Seeing her now is just like catching up with a friend. I would recommend her in a heart beat!

Fantastic experience: I can't speak more highly of Roshelle. For the past 5 months she has been guiding me through some complex health issues and I have never felt better. I have found Roshelle to be open, kind and she creates a safe space where you can be honest which has led to great outcomes for me. Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Melanie for a few months after having multiple abdominal procedures and chronic abdominal pain over the past couple of years. While the answer to all of my problems may lie with another specialist, I'm extremely happy with the results of seeing Melanie. I feel healthier overall and have gone through a pretty major lifestyle change as far as nutrition and food are concerned. Melanie is a great listener, easy to talk to and appointments do not feel rushed. She is evidently extremely knowledgeable in her field and comes across when explaining and interpreting results from testing. She also puts in a lot of time pre and post appointment in creating a detailed tailored dietary plan. I'd highly recommend Melanie for any nutrition/diet/abdominal type issues.

Fantastic experience: We can highly recommend Melanie Fenwick. Melanie takes the time to listen to your concerns and gets to the bottom of the issue. Our son's immune and gut issues were unable to be sorted out by other practitioners, however under Malanie's guidance and care she was able to help our son. Our son is now very healthy and happy.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I went to JCN. Telehealth made it possible to do from melb and Melanie has been great. It’s tough to change your routine and diet but Melanie has been very supportive and knowledgeable guiding me through. They are very thorough with testing and aligning your nutrition plan to your exact needs based on your results. Happy to see improvements already.

Fantastic experience: After listening to the podcast for years and my first PT recommending Carissa, I have been working with JCN clinic since mid 2021 and I have always received excellent advice, guidance, support and service from the clinic, from my nutritionist consults to ordering my supplements over the phone. My appointments with Carissa are perfect for me, reviewing how I’m going and mapping a practical path forward. I know I can reach out with questions and that I can discuss what I need to to ensure my health needs are at the focus of every appointment. I’ve worked with the clinic in relation to my personal health goals, to manage my health concerns and also through my pregnancy and now postpartum journey. I cannot recommend them enough.

After having zero help from my GP I decided to try a naturopath and I'm so glad I did. Fantastic experience: Melanie has helped me rebuild my gut in a completely natural way. She analyzed my symptoms and made small changes overtime so to not overwhelm me. I tried a few other nutritionists before finding Melanie and she has helped me the most, healing my symptoms when I felt like I’d never feel better. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Jess and other practitioners at the JCN clinic for some years now. After being recommended I listen to the podcast, of which I devoured. When I finally got to see Jess for the first time it was following a very fresh IBD diagnosis - together we worked on stripping back to basics with my diet. It was great to have a practitioners guidance who I trusted during that part of the journey. Jess not only wrote out a prescription of what not to eat but included recipes and long lists of foods and ideas of what to eat. Over the years we have reworked the plan to be flexible with my lifestyle. I have told countless friends about Jess and the JCN clinic - I love to share the recipes and podcast. Fantastic experience: JCN has been great. Melanie worked out a suitable eating plan, after some testing and analyzing my poor gut symptoms. The plan enabled me to stick to a routine - something which I struggled to do by myself - and established a series of food re-introductions in order to diagnose and settle my issues. The staff at the clinic were also aware of supplements and the program Melanie had arranged for me.

Fantastic experience: Jessica is empathetic and have a bucket of knowledge that she is happy to share and use as I guide during her consultations. I started seeing Jessica when I found out about a pretty complex autoimmune disorder and she has been a great support on this journey. A year ago I couldn’t exercise without feeling fatigued and exhausted, my vitamins absorption wasn’t good, my gut was inflamed and was up and down in terms of general health. A year later I feel energised and my overall health is great, it’s definitely an ongoing/long term treatment with no short cuts the treatment/tests were always tailored based on my needs and progression.

Positive experience: The team seem thorough and professional I found the amount of supplements quite expensive and was unable to receive answers to questions around a roadmap plan unless I committed to scheduling more appointments.

Fantastic experience: Where do i start... I would have to honestly say I was at my lowest place (physically & mentally) in my life when i returned from what was supposed to be an overseas trip of a lifetime but instead i was extremely sick 10 days into the 6 week trip which lasted the entire 6 weeks. When i returned home i was admitted into hospital where they performed multiple investigatory surgeries. Long story short they found that i had severe reflux which was triggered by some type of tummy bug... I was given medication to treat the acid reflux, however that triggered off other bowel & stomach issues. I visited a nutritionist locally who basically said here's a low fodmap diet, follow it and come back in 4 weeks - that was literally it, no questions, no explanations just follow this. I then remembered that i followed Jess on IG and just thought I need to get into contact with the clinic and get some answers – and so I did. I was so lucky I was introduced to Paige who has literally changed my life. Our initial consultation was via video conf. where Paige spent the entire time asking me questions and re assuring that we would find answers and that with the right plan moving forward things would get better – just hang in there. Whilst we were waiting for results I was put onto a dietary plan which catered for all my needs and almost immediately I start to have relief and with relief I found a new sense of confidence to not only leave the house but to go back to work. Paige took the time (still does) to check up on my progress and when the results came in she put a plan into place to start fighting the horrible infections and bugs that were found. She explained in detail what everything meant and again gave me reassurance that would work through it all. Its been a few months now and I have stuck to our plan religiously and can see results everyday. Even when repeat testing came back with not so good news Paige just knows how to keep you going. Without her help I really don’t know what I would have done. Not to mention she embraces my quirky and very out there personality – no judgement. I cannot recommend Paige & the clinic services enough, they do amazing work!

Fantastic experience: I have had acute gut symptoms for about 10 years and tried multiple practitioners in Adelaide, never getting believed, never getting any better, mostly getting worse. By the time I got to Carissa, my diet was super limited and I had no idea how to turn things around. It's been over 2 years now and Carissa is my absolute lifeline. She has listened to me, believed me, helped me and pushed me when I needed it. My diet is so much more varied, my energy and mood so much more stable, my hormones have normalised and family are telling me that I look happy and healthy.
