Fantastic experience: Massive shout out to Lina As she gave back my faith in this store with her great costumer service and expertise, always smiling and willing to actively listening to your needs and recommend exactly what I needed. You see, I used to be a regular client since 2016. Then the quality of service was in decline for years and due to this, I stopped shopping there for 4 years all together. Until I came back seeking customer assistance and good prices and left very pleased. Thanks to Lina, I’ll be coming for more shopping more regularly as a result. Fantastic experience: Went into Mr Vitamin at Ashfield store to get some advice on protein powder for my 70 year old mother. The ladies were very attentive, caring and nothing was a problem for them. They were very helpful and approachable. They listened to our needs, asked questions, we are very lucky to have people that care for the community. Negative experience: Few months ago I went a bought a Oxy Shred from this place for 58-59$. Went back 2wks ago and it just jumped up to 80$ which it's ridiculous to have a 20$ increase within months? Seriously? Well came back to Marrickville and found a cheaper place called Essential Supplements near the corner of Marrickville Rd and Victoria Rd in Marrickville (near the lights) Great staff and service and reasonable prices. I did get my Oxy Shred (mango flavour) from there for 67$ not 80$. Some businesses are taking advantages of customers in tough times especially when they know people do need them. Oh well I'd recommend Essential Supplements to anyone and you also get a 10% off any product if you're a member there

Fantastic experience: I have been to Mr. Vitamins recently to purchase Optimum Range Isowhey protein range and blown away by their protien range and the clear organisation and categorisation of the available flavours. While I was browsing, I was nicely intercepted by this wonderful Team member Jihan and requested if i need any help. After selecting the protein powder of my trainer's recommendation, Jihan finalised my transaction and also asked few questions about my choices of protein powders and also recommended a few other products by providing a couple of freebie samples for me. Even though, I went there 15 minutes before closing time, they did not rushed me but provided the excellent customer service. Thank you Jihan. Very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: We came to the store and Milan the Nepalese guy that recommended us a few products was very knowledgeable and friendly . He spend time explaining what’s the difference and why he recommend the ones that he think would work better . This personalised assistance it’s so important for customer . Purchased the product he recommended and it works wonders !

Negative experience: AVOID !!!!!! If you want reasonably good/ pleasant staff politeness, do not visit this store. Stephanie ( the manager ) as stated in a previous review, needs some solid and serious customer service training, as does another staff member, whose name I do not know. I was following up via telephone, an order I placed in person at the store. Stephanie and the other staff member were excessively rude, dismissive and impolite when handling my enquiries over the telephone, with their responses to my queries being very condescending. And when one staff member was talking to Stephanie, I was not put on hold, therefore I could hear every less than pleasant thing they were saying about me. I picked up my order in store today, served Stephanie, with no eye contact. Terrible experience on all levels. As, I said, If you wish good customer contact by staff...AVOID .

Fantastic experience: Very reasonable prices for most of the Keto related stuff. Mostly Amazon prices and the bonus point it is that they save you the hassle of waiting for shipment and more often than not driving to post office to pick up the parcel because the lazy postie just left a 'no one at home' card without even ringing the doorbell. Everyone's home. It's a damn lockdown (misdirected anger). The store's good!! 5 stars!

Negative experience: Went into the store and asked for Melatonin, I was given a product and said this is the ONLY one available. Buying it and taking one at home I thoughly read the label to find that it was labelled as HOMEOPATIC melatonin, meaning it has less than 1% of the actual active constituent and is mostly sugar. Not happy with this advice. The TGA has found that none of the therapeutic claims made regarding this product could be substantiated. These claims regarding sleep were found to be inaccurate, misleading and exaggerating product efficacy, breaching sections 9(a), 9(b) and 10(a)(ii) of the Code. I'd be careful taking any advice from the sales people.

Negative experience: Hello my dear health and sports buffs, you like me are always out and about for the best deal on up to date supps, in regards to Mr.Vitamin I can say that I used to shop there more often than now, the only reason way to overpriced, a simple comparison on citrulline malate of the same brand and dosage and you clearly see what I mean, by doing your shopping carefully you can save a solid 30% by buying somewhere else or online etc..! They also discontinued certain products, a common practice to raise profitability on the back of the consumer, but nowadays we have the choice... the internet so therefore if they are not competitive any more than soon they might cease to trade. "Why not sell more for cheaper... than less for more profit?!" If you compare the most up to date business model, the winning formula is more for less... not less for more!!! Kind regards from an avid savvy shopper

Fantastic experience: I'm one of their regular customers and like to shop here because their stock is comprehensive and readily available, such as health supplements (many different brands), and personal care and household items. What I appreciate most is their wide range of gluten-free foods including high quality organic breakfast grains and chocolate. Except for a couple of salespersons who have served me with rather expressionless faces, the rest are friendly and helpful, one of whom is outstanding; Jace has an excellent manner with customers, very gentle and patient, and knowledgeable about products in the store. I've one suggestion: please remember to put signs that advertise discounts away or out of sight once they're no longer applicable. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the 25% discount as per the (expired) sign, but ended up buying the item anyway (without discount, I'd missed out on the discount by one day).

Fantastic experience: Great selection and some of the most helpful (and knowledgeable) staff that I've encountered. They even have an in-house naturopath (James I think his name is) who can mix something special if they haven't got what you want on the shelves. Most items discounted which is a welcome bonus. Worth visiting.

Fantastic experience: One of my favourite health food stores and it's so local!! I used to have to buy my favourite skincare brands online at more expensive prices but now I can just pop in to mr vitamins, get my products there and then for a CHEAPER price. They have such a big range, products i've never seen in store before and the shop itself has a nice feel and atmosphere. Staff always ask if I need help. No complaints at all, highly rate it.

Negative experience: More often than not the staff are various degrees of rude. For example, I went to the counter to return an item. The sales assistant was jabbajawing with a friend. It didn’t look like there was a transaction occurring so I politely mentioned that I needed to return something. She shot me a look and then immediately proceeded to resume the conversation like I wasn’t there. Cold! I also find that they don’t have good stock of the products I’m after. I’ll be thinking twice before shopping there again.

Negative experience: Bad service today. I bought some toothpaste for $7.95, paid with $20 and after the woman behind the counter rang it up I realised that I have a member card so I apologized and gave it to the staff after the payment. The woman's reaction was very rude and impatient, she gave me my change ($12.05), then accused me of only giving her $10, I insisted I used a $20 note. She looked at me and said "Lets check the cameras then", "Of course, that is fine" I said. She then realised she was confused and had gotten it all wrong. She did apologise however I did not appreciate being treated in that disrespectful manner, she did not trust me or take my word. The staff should have more patienve and talk nicely to customers. I am usually a big fan of Mr Vitamins however this was not impressive at all for my shopping experience today :(((((
