Fantastic experience: Ive had remarkable outcomes with Merge. Steph was able to help me find that pathway to managing challenges that were seemingly taking over my life through simple and straight forward strategies. Very caring and very professional, and got results which empowers me to apply the strategies without as much external assistance. Kate is an amazing naturopath with knowledge and ability to problem solve in real time with proven work. It is very much a team approach to ensure outcomes are made. Would recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed in Dr Tania Ash. This doctor charges for “admin time” outside of the actual consultation yet arrives unprepared, late and without reviewing scans or blood tests beforehand. At $590 an hour ($1400 total), you would expect a personalised, thorough plan instead, you’re left with generic advice, “some reading” and zero tailored support. She also recommends products that are weaker than what I was already taking, making the whole experience an expensive waste of time. Truly disappointing and exploitative of people desperate for real help with their health.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Steph (integrative naturopath) and Sarah (nutritionist) since early 2021. I originally went to Merge Health for painful periods and IBS/SIBO symptoms, but over time have also subsequently worked on stress and trauma, liver and detox support, and resonant infections in the body. One reason why I continue to use and recommend Merge Health is I recently had extreme atopic dermatitis and secondary infection (staph) on both arms which was caused by spraying glyphosate at work. Other GPs were only able to provide superficial advice, whereas Steph provided an answer to the root cause and provided ongoing support during that time. Why I was able to make a full recovery was taking her advice, allowing myself to heal, and supporting my gut the best I can. The work I had done over that period showed that despite 5 rounds of antibiotics, following Steph’s advice my gut microbiome was diverse and overall healthy 3 months later and my arms have made a full recovery. The testing utilised by the team (ART, Oligoscan/vitamin and mineral scans, comprehensive blood tests, stool testing) I have found to be very accurate, with Steph and Sarah’s advice around supplementation and diet very supportive. The cost of consultations and supplements can be expensive, however I found the price I pay to be worth it. If you are prepared to pay, you need to take advocacy and autonomy over your health. Any health plan can only be of use if you choose to be active in your healing by changing your habits and connecting with your own body, which is what I found.

Negative experience: Probably one of the worst business I have dealt with. Very poor communication. Randomly would change appointments. Forces you to see a “health coach” and pay $100s before you can even see your Dr. I’m thankfully my Dr has moved to another clinic as it was a nightmare dealing with this company. Avoid

Negative experience: Not a user of the service. I just wanted to provide feedback that your website is very frustrating. It is impossible to find your location on your own website. The chatbot isn't a true chatbot - it only ushers people to fill out an online form. The phone number is only visible if you click the call button. Location is paramount for people researching to find a new healthcare provider. Please make your location transparent so people don't waste their time looking at your service if you are not in their local area.

Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t be the high functioning, happy and healthy multifaceted artist and mother if it weren’t for merge health and their team of exceptional practitioners. Besides myself for putting the energy and dedication into my journey, I credit my healing and thriving capacity to Stephanie Gadsden and Samantha Van Dort. The knowledge and empowerment this practice has given me for a decade has transformed my physical, mental and spiritual health beyond belief. I can’t recommend this team of health practitioners enough to treat conditions ranging in all complexities.

Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome! I have only just started working with them but they have given me so much confidence with regards to getting my health back on track. Sarah and Kate are both so lovely, patient and knowledgeable. One of the things I love about them is that when they ask you to make lifestyle changes for the sake of you getting better, they not only tell you what the change is, but also how to implement it into your life based on your current schedule and habits. Negative experience: If you want your care purposely drawn out for 10 months or more and to waste all your $ on empty promises I’d recommend this clinic. They are $ focussed. Their ‘business model’ is set up so that you can never contact the doctor about any issues, it’s an overseas reception who do not understand English at times. You have a message system in the merge app where you are limited to 500 characters (not words) to speak to the doctor and a limit on messages so you’re coerced into paying full consult fees if the doctor hasn’t covered enough in a consult you’ve already had or if you have questions about dosages/ things left out in treatment plans. Their supplement website is 30-50% more $$ than anywhere else I have been and any other online stores. When I brought this to their attention I was told by Sarah that “we are running a small business that’s why”. Again proving this entire ‘clinic’ is based on making $$ for them not in the best interests of the patient. Their model is set up to benefit the doctor/ naturopaths. It has been a big headache and a very stressful and time consuming experience going here. You’re forced into back and forth emails because the off shore reception don’t understand much of anything. They also argue back with you to try and avoid contacting doctors when needed on your behalf. Doctor had forgotten my condition and allergies/ limitations multiple times and wasted time during my consults having repeated conversations from previous ones. Deliveries from their supplement store are not tracked and when they are they do not send you any tracking information. In summer they expect you to stand by your front door and wait for a delivery for a week. So many things have contributed to my worsening of patient care from this clinic. My family and I are tired and upset by the experience and the outcome. I have given them ample amount of time to improve. They take multiple weeks at a time to even give you a response.

Fantastic experience: I have found fantastic naturopath and team who truly understood my condition, POTS. Their personalized approach and guidance on starting meditation have been life changing. I feel more empowered and healthier than ever before. Highly recommend their expertise! Im lucky to find a naturopath who has helped me on the pathway to recovery. And I wish you find the help and caring team as I have, who understands your condition and supports your holistic well being making a significant difference in your health journey.

Negative experience: the practitioners are great i.e kate and sarah, however dealing with admin is terrible. its offshore and the phone always go to voicemail. I ordered the started test kit and got bits and pieces of it over a few weeks and no communication about this. I had to follow up with several emails and it was no frustrating. I even sent feedback to one of the practitioners about the admin/support experience to which I got no reply. I still want to give them a fair go but i honestly feel the admin needs to be improved. this is not a discriminatory comment but you need reception/admin support onshore. offshore frustrates customers so much hence why a lot of companies bringing it back onshore.

Fantastic experience: This journey I embarked on with Merge Health last year has been a ride and a half & the best thing I ever did. I was sick, broken, exhausted. From the start, Kate and the team never made me feel like it was "all in my head". I felt supported, valued, and validated. It's been wild at times, patience a necessity and trust in the treatment plan that was individually designed for my needs. There were lots of tweaks along the way, but from where I began to where I am now, I am incredibly thankful and extremely grateful. My children & family have noticed a huge difference, and although I'm tough on myself and my expectations, I look back and realise - WOW, I have come a long way from there! I am still in the hands of Kate and the team and feel confident things will only continue to improve from here. If you've done the "usual" round of doctors who keep telling you nothing is wrong, then this is where you need to be!!! Thorough, researched, caring, nurturing and specific in your treatment plan, and if Kate & the team can't help, she will find someone who can! No stone is left unturned; I was emotionally supported because it is an emotional rollercoaster at times, and I'm very appreciative that our paths crossed ♥

Fantastic experience: After many years of suffering with a chronic illness, and not getting any answers elsewhere, Kate came highly recommended. Kate has become my trusted partner on this journey, working methodically over a number of years through all aspects of my health finding answers and solutions. I truely appreciate her extensive knowledge, patience, care and her willingness to work with other health professions, specialists and Drs (all of her recommendations have also been excellent). My toddler and husband have also seen her and their results speak for themselves with fast results. Fantastic experience: I cant speak highly enough of Merge Health, especially Steph, Tanya and Sarah. They absolutely know their stuff and have compassion and empathy. I have seen people posting about their reception and ordering processes, which I agree can be frustrating, but if you work through that part with patience and communication, the actual service of Natropathy is the best I have ever experienced. Nothing about what I have experienced from a practitioner point of view I can fault.

Negative experience: I've had a disappointing. While the actual appointments were ok (though expensive, and always late to start), the experience with the reception, bookings and orders have been disgraceful. They have debited money repeatedly without clear explanation, overcharging me multiple times. I had to spend a significant portion of an appointment with Kate Mccandless trying to work out what I’d paid for, and it turned out they had accidentally overcharged. Kate then charged me extra for the appointment, which seems ridiculous to me. The reception is offshore and never answers phone calls making it extremely hard to resolve the payment problems, or ask questions or change bookings. Overall the experience had been dreadful. They have attempted to remedy the situation but it doesn't change the fact that I've spent thousands with the intention to improve my gut and have got no where.

Fantastic experience: The best naturopath and wellness clinic I’ve ever been too. The staff and practitioners go above and beyond to support me and my family in our health and wellness needs. I would recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Ordered a product express from them as they said Melbourne and I could get it quickly while I waited for my other one to arrive not express from America. After 5 days I contacted them to be told it’s coming from New Zealand and they’ll find out. After another week I hadn’t heard from them and asked for them to cancel my order as I wouldn’t have ordered from them (and paid $15 for express delivery!!) if I’d known it was going to be weeks. Still no reply from them and after 3 weeks my order has arrived from America before them.

Fantastic experience: After years of going to Dr's and getting no were , no one believing me and my symptoms saying most was in my mind , or putting me on so many different drugs for pain , mental state etc all doing nothing seeing so many dermatologist who would send me on to others saying they had no idea what was happing to me , I finally found Merge Health , and have now been Diganosed with many conditions and starting a whome new treatment plan , food plan and health plan , they listen , understand, care and most importantly act . I can not rate them highly enough if I had not of found them I seriously don't think I'd be here .... A big thank you to the best team I've seen to help me with my health. Negative experience: I am rating 1-star because I ended up severely underweight. A diet is only effective if the body is nourished. It is very challenging to maintain body weight eating primarily vegetables and supplementing everything else. The lack of protein to repair tissue starts to break down functioning organs and tissue and you have 0 energy. Also if you plan to send an email or make a phone call to clarify your current wellness plan be prepared to pay for a minimum 15 minute consultation.

Negative experience: Poor communication and lack of support. It has been very frustrating working with Merge. I have been trying to get an appointment now for 2 months. The guidance I received from merge worsened my health, and when I reached out I was desperate to change strategies because I was getting sicker everyday. I never received any guidance regarding my degrading health. I take responsibility for missing one appointment and my following two appointments were canceled within hours of the scheduled time due to the practitioner being sick. My last appointment the practitioner did not show up at all, and has not responded to my emails. I have multiple test results with no follow up appointment to explain them to me. It wouldn’t be the first (or seemingly last time) I have sent en email with no response and have to chase them up for merge to act. When I have contacted admin about wanting to get in touch with my doctor Tania, admin told me to contact her via the message system merge uses. You have 500 characters to use. Not words but characters. That is including spaces and symbols. So there are no opportunities to explain things with any detail. However, it is all in vain as my messages to Tania were all ignored. To say the least, I’m disappointed with the service (or lack thereof) I have received and appalled at the poor communication, lack of respect and disregard for my health when I needed it most. Beware.

Fantastic experience: Merge has given me back my livelihood. I was diagnosed elsewhere with chronic fatigue syndrome in 2021, and shortly thereafter I was left unable to work. I was told that I'd need to figure out how to live my life from the couch. I engaged with Merge because of their specialism in CFS. What I didn't expect was a truly holistic support structure to be built around me on what (unexpectedly) came to be a journey to health. Sarah has held my hand through some drastic dietary changes, which has resulted in truly remarkable shifts in my health. I was experiencing heart flutters, extremely dry and easily irritated skin, worsening eye sight, yellowed feet, gut health atrocities and a host of other things. Through food, every single one of these issues has subsided and are tangibly on their way to resolve. It's now easier to hear my body and understand its needs, making me feel like I have power back in my hands to manage CFS. Balanced with her honesty and kindness, Sarah has led me to reimagine the role food plays in my life and enthusiastically celebrates the wins with me. Sam has played an equally important role in my journey. Her empathy, insight and collaboration show that she's genuinely there for her patients and will do all she can to accommodate them. She's supported me to take the right supplements at the right point in time, helping me ease into this new and (unexpectedly) confronting path. With her help, I've broadened my own approach to personal health management to better factor my emotional, mental and social needs. Sam has helped me redefine health for myself, and I feel empowered for it. Sam and Sarah have given me my life back. I have the energy to work part-time, invite people into my home, and plan my future with confidence. It's been a rollercoaster, but I have no doubt I'll be working and socialising as I was prior to this syndrome taking hold in due time. The cherry on top is that the entire reception team are always kind, supportive and helpful, even when I've had a seemingly endless list of questions for them.

Fantastic experience: When I had finished my Chemo and Radiotherapy treatment for my Throat Cancer in 2020 I needed help to restore my gut health, rebuild my immunity and most importantly do everything within my power to never let the cancer return. After a reasonable amount of research I decided to seek help from Merge. So we started the jouney with dietary change and a variety of tests including blood and stool etc to give a starting point for Merge to repair the damage done by my treatment and the cancer. They also introduced me to Mindfulness as part of the recovery. Now I feel better than ever and consistently remain at the same weight as when I was 21. Thank you to all the team at Merge.

Fantastic experience: The level of health care from Merge Health is beyond any other I have experienced. They have a heavy emphasis on wellness which suits me just fine. For long-term health, I way prefer a focus on wellness rather than pharmaceutical-based treatment. If you want a good level of control to manage your own health Merge Health can help you with that. I had the good fortune to work with Sarah and Steph. It is quite reassuring when you see the wide range of health indicators they look at. Even more reassuring is how they tinker with diet, supplements, and lifestyle to get you back to being well. If you have resigned yourself to being a sick person and given up, let Merge Health help you. I was so happy with Merge Health I encouraged my mother to see them. We now have a happier healthier mum who is now also a big fan of Merge Health.

Negative experience: The first couple of months with Merge saw positive results - I had more energy and felt better on the paleo style protocol. However it didn't evolve to be a good overall experience, partly to do with me not having the funds required for their model of treatment. My friend and I both tried Merge for our gut healing journeys, and both had disappointing experiences. Speaking for myself: a) I felt very much like a transaction in my appointments and encounters b) made to feel like I was waisting the naturopath's time when I would ask follow up questions c) I was put on a protocol that caused half the hair on my head to fall out, with no warning that this could happen. It was traumatic for me, and the practitioner did not know what to do about it - kept blaming it on stress, when the hair in infact started falling out way before I experienced stress (and after I started the protocol). I ended up having to spend hundreds of dollars elsewhere to get help for it. d) I would always leave appointments feeling confused and unclear as to the practitioner's approach, and didn't feel empowered by her advice. My friend and I both still debrief to this day about how bad our experiences were. I'm passionate about good quality, holistic healthcare and caring practitioners and so that's why I've taken the time to write this review in the hope that it might help someone else think twice.

Fantastic experience: After years of fatigue, insomnia and gut health issues, I finally have some health answers and can move forward with a treatment plan with hope for even greater health results. With several tests completed (that my GP never offered), a change to my eating habits (I thought I already ate well), and additional supplements, I am already sleeping better, have more energy, have far less gut issues and just happen to have lost those few extra stubborn kilos. Steph and Sarah are both professional practitioners with a wealth of knowledge. I can’t thank them and the Merge Health team enough for their compassion and expertise. The new me is so grateful

Positive experience: I've so far only had 2 appointments, and found staff & practitioners to be kind and lovely people. I'm impressed by the level of knowledge of Steph Gadsden in relation to my particular health challenges, and for the first time in years am feeling some *actual hope* my condition can be significantly improved. Fantastic experience: I went to Merge Health because although I was eating relatively well (or so I thought) I just didn't feel quite right. I had serious energy level issues and was sleeping poorly. My GP had a look at all of the bloods that I had done (as ordered by Merge Health) but could not see anything amiss and suggested perhaps it was simply premenstrual symptoms and or peri-menopause. At Merge I was put onto a new diet with supplements that immediately saw an improvement in my energy levels. Without going on and on what I will say is that I thought I was feeling ok, just perhaps a bit flat but I didn't realise how bad I was feeling until I started feeling better. I am now running 3 times a week (for the first time EVER). I cannot recommend Merge Health more highly, the entire team are friendly and so supportive.

Kate was able to quickly get my health back on track so I could begin healing. I still regularly use merge for any health concerns that arise. I personally have seen Kate McCandles for years, her expertise are amazing and she works hard to find the correct solutions. If you are sick and Doctors can't find the answers... I highly advise you to get another opinion at Merge. The amount you will learn about your body, lifestyle choices, body upgrading options etc makes every consult worth every dollar. If you need to optimise your health - this is truly the place to go to. Don't know where I would be without Kate- outstanding, supporting and continuous upskilling practitioner!

Positive experience: The Nautropath’s are incredibly talented and really listened to what I had to say and all of my symptoms. They were really sympathetic and caring. However, on every single occasion, whether it be a consult, purchasing supplements etc, I was overcharged or told the wrong price. Not going to name names, however 2 staff members told me something would cost $150, then I was charged $275 and told it was that price all along. After my first consult and purchasing a supplement, I was overcharged $18. Every single time, I’ve had to ring and request refunds or ask as to why I have been charged an amount different to what had been discussed me. I was always ‘in the wrong’ despite my husband listening to these conversations and the prices discussed. Very lovely staff members, however it was grossly overpriced and because of the constant miscommunication and mix ups with pricing, I won’t return.

Fantastic experience: Merge Health has been the most supportive clinic I’ve ever been to. I’ve seen Kate McCandless, Dr Wesley Ang and Stephanie Gadston. They’re all great practitioners who really cared and gave me treatments that have helped me feel well after I had been feeling off for a few months. The process of starting treatment and consultations was really easy thanks to Sarah who is the Patient Advocate. Sarah answered all my questions with so much grace and she helped me get set up in the patient portal so that I could get updates from my practitioners really quickly. I highly recommend Merge Health if you’re wanting to feel well again. Stephanie and Kate are really grounded and down-to-earth practitioners, I really appreciate everything they have done.

Positive experience: I have been working with Steph (Naturopath) and Oscar (Chinese Medicine Dr) for a year now and they have been a fundamental part of my recovery and healing journey from CFS and getting me back to the point where I feel like I am myself again. Negative experience: WARNING - Do not go to Merge for the advice of their GP’s. They have two and both are shockingly poor. Inaccurate record keeping, insensitive bedside manner, very poor communication, lazy in their practice- neither of them reviewed my patient history which is the whole purpose of going to an integrative practice. And today when I was referred to a specialist (which I had to specify myself- apparently they don’t know any Gastroenterologists themselves) I found basic errors in the referral documentation they wrote. I am unsure as to how they are continued to be allowed to practice. Jad Patrick- one of their Natropaths has been fantastic and I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been receiving naturopathy, dietitian, traditional chinese medecine + acupuncture as well as GP services at Merge Health for up to two years now and can probably only begin to state how fantastic my experience has been. I am recovering from chronic fatigue syndrome caused by a parasite and numerous other digestive disorders. Merge Health has picked up numerous things that my CFS specialist never uncovered and as a result I’m continuing to improve much more than I would have. The staff at Merge all work with such enthusiasm, empathy, dedication and honesty that I’ve not seen elsewhere. They actually really care about getting you better! I don’t need to go anywhere else now. Very highly recommended!
