Fantastic experience: I began seeing Alex Dopper at Sports & Spinal Broadbeach when I injured my back and the MRI was showing a bulged disc. It can be tricky finding a physiotherapist that you trust but from the beginning, he has been nothing but kind and compassionate whilst also showing a wealth of knowledge that makes you feel so comfortable, especially when dealing with a back injury. I genuinely owe so much to him! I would recommend Alex to anyone and everyone who is seeking an incredible physiotherapist. Also a big shout out to the amazing admin ladies who also make visiting so great and are so lovely to speak to.

Fantastic experience: First time visit with knee complaint. Physio Alex alleviated as much of the pain as possible and identified root cause requiring MRI. Thankfully, Alex’s swift professional assessment resulted in prompt surgical follow up. Alex has managed the recovery going above and beyond. I know I’m in good hands. I highly recommend Sports & Spinal team, Brendan, EP has also contributed & supported my recovery plan always with a smile & compassion. Nicholas, podiatrist recently bolstering recovery with professional assessments & treatments. The entire team including reception are a high performing, holistic team that will work together in assuring your complete treatment plan.

Negative experience: Very average. Looks the goods but disappointing. Asked for a massage and got cupping and acupuncture which I didn't want. And the main area he treated the least time of all.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Marina for a while for chronic pelvic pain due to my endometriosis and adenomyosis. She has been an absolute God-send! She is really knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable when doing internal exams (which can be quite confronting). Since working with her I’ve been able to have less painful “intimate” times and my “leakage” when I exercise is no longer existent. She even encouraged me to get into Pilates to help strengthen my TA. It’s been a total game changer for me. I can’t thank you enough ❤️

Fantastic experience: Marina has been an absolute blessing to my endo journey. I was dealing with pain that I couldn’t manage and Marina helped me by giving me tools, exercises and advice to help me deal with my pain and anxiety. After every session, I have felt heard and understood by her and I would 100% recommend her to anybody dealing with any sort of pelvic pain.

Fantastic experience: I can’t praise Alex enough. Went to see him after 6 months of plantar fasciitis for a third opinion. Wish I’d gone there first. Excellent combination of therapies, research based approach, really thoughtful programming. 2.5 months later I’m back running completely pain free and confident I’ll hit my running goals with his ongoing knowledgeable support.

I have been to a few different clinics over the last 9 years and the care Marina took with me was unparoled. Positive experience: I have been attending Pilates at Sports and Spinal (S&S) for about 3 months. I have never tried Pilates before, however, I chose S&S because they have a max 4 people per class. Each class has either a physio or exercise physiologist in attendance, so its almost like having your own personal session. The staff are excellent, approachable and knowledgeable. The sessions are fun and its a great workout. My fitness and strength level has greatly improved after just 3 months. My husband also attends classes 3 times per week. I highly recommend S&S to anyone wanting to improve their overall physical health.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. Have only had 2 sessions with Anna but noticed such a big improvement after just the first. So glad I can across this place, I won’t got anywhere else for remedial massage.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars, I would. I am seeing three practioners at Broadbeach Sport and Spinal. Marina, my physio has fixed my embarrassing woman's issue. Marina has been supportive, encouraging and actually listens to you. Adrian's remedial massage will make you float afterwards. Best I have ever had, I have fibromyalgia, and I have been to many. Kirrily, the dietician expert, knows her stuff, encouraging and supportive. I can not thank these wonderful people enough.

Fantastic experience: I had an initial appointment with physio Marina for sciatic pain, she was wonderful, figured out the cause of my pain, created a management plan for me, gave me treatment and answered all of my questions. Very efficient but I didn’t feel rushed, and she was very personable and easy to talk to. I also found the front desk staff friendly and booking process easy. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Visiting from NSW and developed significant lower back / leg pain. Marina (physiotherapist) was an absolute delight who took the time to understand my hx and recent medical treatment. I received massage, and dry needling which helped ease my grim AF pain. Marina also provided me with a treatment plan to compliment my existing at home plan which was incredibly helpful. Marina was knowledgeable, professional and very skilled. Marina’s ability to explain things using clever analogies is nothing short of brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Came to see Kate with a what I thought was a sore shoulder. Once she had a look at me, she noticed it was in fact my neck and not my shoulder. After 3 consults Kate was able to fix my weakened muscles and now i have full range of motion in both my neck and my shoulder. She helped me to understand why my neck was sore, so i could avoid hurting it again in the future and she showed me how to set my shoulders back to protect my neck while i am at the gym. Kate is lovely, easy to talk too and each session felt like i was at coffee with a friend with the bonus of a massage. I also like the app they use that include videos and personal descriptions of the exercises i neeeded to do to strengthen my muscle. Thannnnnk you Kate (and Vanessa the receptionist)

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a really great experience at Raw Therapies. I saw Scott and feel he genuinely cares about my lower back issues. He’s now on a mission to help me overcome my pain issues and really is going above and beyond to assist me. My experience at Raw Therapies has been much more helpful than other physios or chiropractors I've seen in the past and would strongly recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Had a RMT today. Lovely female therapist. I've had a neck injury in 2006 and have had my experience with masage therapists. I explained exactly what I wanted (deep pressure) specific areas needing therapy, not a relaxation massage! I found her very general. She was unable to locate any of my knots abd generally rubbing. I asked to maybe stretch my neck... She had a VERY basic stretching technique (ear to shoulder) and not very steong with that. I was getting NO to LITTLE relief and getting very irritated. Such an awful feeling having someone massage you in an ineffective way. My suggestions were not helping. I wanted to just jump off the table. Waste of my money, time, not relief, and actually put me in a worse mood.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Adrian by my yoga teacher who is also a client of Raw Therapies. I had an absolutely excellent massage, and have already booked my appointment with Adrian for next month. The location is also very easy to find with free parking, and their Reception staff are lovely and very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from lower back pain for roughly 7 years. i have been through more physiotherapists, doctors and chiropractors than you could imagine. I am so happy that i made the decision to give Raw Therapies a go. I have been going to Raw Therapies for a couple of months now and can confidently say that Scott Fawcett is by far the best physiotherapist i have come across. My back is 100% better, and would highly recomend Scott. And to top off the experience Raw Therapies has a very happy and friendly receptionist named Jenna. I deffinetly give Raw Therapies full marks in both customer service and treatment that works .

Fantastic experience: As a regular weekly client for 2 years now, Scott and his team at Raw Therapies are quite simply, marvellous. The reception staff are always courteous and very helpful while Scott has comprehensively managed and performed effective treatments to lessen the severity of my chronic conditions. Importantly for me, he is always willing to explore other ways in treating my conditions, apply different techniques plus at the same time being able to listen to my extensive waffling!

Fantastic experience: The team at Raw Therapies are really welcoming, friendly and helpful...there are a number of different services on offer including Physio, Massage, Pilates and Podiatry. Scott has been instrumental in not only relieving my chronic neck and shoulder pain but also guiding me with exercise to ensure it doesn't return. Can't rank them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: After injuring my shoulder/neck surfing I contacted the studio as I was in a lot of pain and had to work the following day. The Physiotherapist, Scott, who was recommended to me by someone who gets treated by him, went out of his way to go in early in order to treat me. He was also then able to squeeze me into a few more sessions that week. All in all, a few treatments later and following some directions given to me by Scott, I felt great and was ready to get back in the water.

Fantastic experience: I find the entire Raw team to be highly professional and knowledgeable with a true passion for their work and regard for their clients. I was underwhelmed with Physiotherapy until meeting Scott. His hands-on approach and intent for me to continue improving my wellbeing and health outside of the studio was refreshing. I am not only in better physical health I am more educated and better equipped to maintain it.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at Broadbeach -- for a three month working holiday -- with a Sydney-acquired sore back which was making sitting at the computer painful. Serendipitously I found Scott at Raw Therapies. He was fabulous and helped me through it with a combination of hands-on work and giving me "homework" exercises to do. When I was much better I did a course of reformer Pilates in their studio. I've only ever done mat Pilates before and I found these one-on-one sessions fantastic. I also need to see a podiatrist and RT have a great guy coming in and I consulted him. What I found excellent was the way that Scott, the Pilates instructor and the podiatrist all communicated about my issues so they all were on the same page and working in tandem. Very impressive.

Fantastic experience: I have been to a fair few physios in the past 10-15 years and Raw Therapies is by far the best. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this practice to anyone. It has a great range of highly qualified and professional staff to cover your needs for physio, massage, Pilates, etc. Personally, I have had many sessions with Scotty (physio/director) for a chronic neck/shoulder issue and have found him to be one of the best physios I have ever dealt with. He is very professional, tries a wide range of treatment options, takes meticulous notes and maintains good records of treatment (which is invaluable in the long term treatment of chronic conditions). I have also had several sessions with Adrian (massage therapist) and found him to be fantastic - especially if you are seeking a proper massage that treats those deep underlying tight/knotted muscles that a typical massage never seems to adequately address. He also has a remarkable knack of being able to find those hidden sources of pain, tightness and irritation that are not always immediately obvious and that need to be effectively treated. Well done Raw Therapies - 5 stars all round :)

Fantastic experience: Scott has been my physiotherapist since I was 16 and he had just finished university, which is ten years ago now. He has seen me through many ballet injuries and a back injury related to work. He also looks after my whole family. I live in Perth now and still go to see him for any injuries I have when I'm back on the Gold Coast.

My neck could hardly move and now after 2 months , I have far more mobility and far less pain.I swim competitively in masters swimming and this treatment has helped me be more competive again!
