Fantastic experience: Campsie medical practice service is good, doctor is qualified and experienced. Staff are qualified as well. Very good service

Fantastic experience: Made an appointment and was seen on time. Friendly receptionists, great nurse who was easy to talk to, and knowledgeable, caring, and efficient doctor. EDIT: wrote this review 6 years ago, and I've been seen by multiple doctors at this practice. They're the absolute best GPs I've ever encountered, they allow me to self-advocate, they pay attention, their referrals are top-notch. If I leave the area I'm still coming back here. 100/10

Negative experience: D. Elton Lin is a deeply disappointing doctor who completely lacks the compassion expected of someone in the medical profession. Shockingly, he told a patient that she was “wasting his time” by coming to see him — a statement that is both unprofessional and devoid of empathy. The patient was not attending by personal choice, but rather at the instruction of the reception staff, who informed her that the doctor needed to discuss her test results in person. In reality, only one of the two expected reports had arrived. To make matters worse, the patient is an elderly woman who was already distressed upon receiving the unexpected request for a follow-up. Instead of receiving reassurance or care, she was humiliated by this rude and dismissive behavior from D. Lin. This experience was not only upsetting but unacceptable. We are extremely angry and disappointed by the way she was treated.

Negative experience: Dr. Bernard Tse is truly the heart and soul of this clinic. Many patients specifically seek out his care because of his professionalism, patience, and genuine commitment to each individual's well-being. His presence sets a high standard for compassionate care. In contrast, Dr Elton Lin shows a clear lack of patience and empathy toward his patients — not even a fraction of what Dr. Tse demonstrates. He appears unqualified for such a noble profession and may be better suited to a different line of work. After all, patients come seeking care and understanding, not frustration and disrespect.

Negative experience: I visited this practice as I would like to have appointments with Dr Jeffrey Lai. This practice receptionist has zero customer service skills. They boombarded me several calls even though I said I would definitely get a referral letter by Friday midday and confirm with them. They still sent messages and called me. I was late to my appointment because they were trying to get me filled in the form and paid first before I went to my appointment. Today they called me to reschedule my appointment from the morning to the afternoon. I asked the reason and the lady didn’t tell me, so I firmly said no. And she abruptly put off the call.

Fantastic experience: Very sweet and quick to solve. Very pleased with the receptionist today. Doctor John is very good doctor I am happy with him. Place is v clean.

Fantastic experience: I has been living in this area for 4 years and doctor John Doan always take a good care of my family. He is always kind, caring and listen to my concerns. so sad that I have to move but I really want to thank Dr John and administrative team for all the good experience we had at the practice.

Negative experience: I arrived 15min before my appointment and reception was notified. Waited for 35min and thought something was wrong so I double checked with receptionist if the health professional was running late. She said she wasn’t aware that I was waiting there and apparently the waiting area was upstairs and said that because I missed my appointment, I had to wait another half hour. No one told me the waiting room was upstairs. Very disappointed with the poor management

Fantastic experience: Great service from receptionists

Negative experience: Receptionists are extremely rude. Tried to get an appointment with a doctor to see my baby however, they refused to give me an appointment on the day. The doctors on the other hand are great.

Positive experience: Doctors are great, but the receptionist are rude and unhelpful. The old team of receptionist are much more friendly.

Negative experience: The secretary leaves the phone on voicemail for lunch for two hours during the week. Always a good sign.

Fantastic experience: Great service. Professional and caring doctors. The support staff and nurses are also brilliant. They do not shy away from complex issues and use the latest in booking facilities to make it easy. Fully bulked billed!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been coming here for over 5 years. There doctors are absolutely amazing. They are very caring, knowledgeable and always willing to go above and beyond to help the patient. I’m really grateful for all their help for myself and all my family members. I have also had only positive experiences with all the staff including the receptionist who are always helpful.

Fantastic experience: Annie has great acupuncture skills. She hears and understands my problems. Annie takes extra time to relieve my chronic knee and ankle pain to help me walk more easily. She is courteous and polite and is focused on helping me get better during each treatment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Annie for acupuncture over the last 2 months. Annie takes time to listen to my health concerns and has been able to dramatically relieve my chronic elbow, reduced my ongoing joint pain and improved my circulation. Annie also prescribes affordable herbal remedies to provide me with more energy.

Negative experience: Took my 4 months old baby for vaccination. The nurse did absolutely nothing to comfort the baby. She was on her mobile phone chatting with someone. She didn’t even moved from her chair ( comfort zone) and gave vaccine by stretching her body.When she was giving the second vaccine on another thigh, stretched her body from the chair and gave the vaccine using just 1 hand making a mistake, so she had to inject the baby twice. I don’t recommend anyone to take their child for vaccination esp with that nurse.

Negative experience: I would give zero star if there is any option. Attention management please overlook your receptionist team, They are not helpful at all. I have been there 10 times to see doctor and their answer is no, they never say yes. I can understand if it is one or two times but 10 times doctor is not available. Unbelievable, in my understanding they are just lazy and do not want to interact with anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Bernard Tse He is very professional his knowledge & explanation is outstanding. He is a very caring compassionate person who has all the time & care for his patients, at heart, one of the best doctors I have encountered I will never be able to thank Dr Tse enough for his -care compassion -attitude & thoughtfulness

Negative experience: If I could give a zero star, I will definitely do that. My daughter got fever and vomiting and I was in a hurry to see doctor. This is the only Medical centre around which opens on Saturday afternoons. The receptionists are young and without experience. I told them I didn’t have an appointment and my daughter has fever etc. One of the receptionist lady ask us to do a Covid test . Then we spent some time do that. Then come back to the receptionist, the other receptionist said it needs to take 15 mins to get a final result and kept telling me they only got one doctor today and fully booked. I am a mum and really worried about my daughter , so I asked them I don’t want to waste time here just tell me if we can see a doctor or not. Then they went back to the dead loop and told me they are fully booked. Then my question is why they didn’t refuse us at the first point? Why do we need to waste time here? We turned around to Canterbury hospital emergency instead. I feel like the receptionists are less trained and I didn’t see they showed any empathy to the patient. This will be my last time went there, never again get there!

Fantastic experience: receptionist were very helpful and kind , overall the facility is very clean and practical. GPs listen to what your problem is and help you with whatever your needs are overall 10/10

Negative experience: Four years on and this place still has issues with poor reception SMH. Don’t come to this clinic if you’re looking for professional receptionists and ones that communicate to each other as you’ll just be bombarded with calls asking you pointless questions about your initial query and have your time wasted from their inefficient communication to themselves and the patient, and ability to do their job most times. They do not listen to what the patient is asking. Really frustrating. I have to do their job for them at times as I know how poor they can be. I find one of the receptionist’s attitude to be poor who decided to hang up on me when I told her not to talk over me. I find the practice manager to have an attitude as well, amongst being a smart alec with a comment when I was discussing the issue with her. Doesn’t help the situation. Not a good look for the clinic.

Positive experience: The doctors here are lovely. Though reception very unorganised reason for low score. I came at 4.15 for a 4:20 appointment. Advised reception I was here showed my Medicare. Patiently Waited one hour and then decided to ask how much more longer and the lady didn’t even check me in properly….. the doctor was literally going to go home. Imagine I didn’t ask and kept waiting. They also lost my partners booking last time but won’t speak on his behalf.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have being cared by the wondetful people at Campsie Medical Practice over past years. From admin staff，to nurses and the doctors we have seen，especially recent months Dr. Richard Tang and his coworkers saved my father’s life twice when his blood pressure went up to 200 and immediately sent him to nearby hospital without delay and avoid him another stroke (CVA). Yesterday My father’s COPD start exacerbate with infection of yellow sputum and shortness of breath and Dr. Richard Tang and team gave him immediately telemedicine call and e-prescription which is stopped symptom get worse and avoid going to the emergency room. Today My father is coming back to as well as usual happy person and all my family and friends want me here to thanks again for Campsie Medical Centre team professionalism and humanitarian kindness. 谢谢各位医生、护士和前台工作人员，特别是在陈立顺医生和您们大家一起努力下，照顾我父亲及时救助老人送他去医院急诊抢救免过了又一次脑中风，昨天我父亲的肺气肿和支气管炎因咳嗽发烧感染导致呼吸困难，陈医生和他的团队及时给他打电话看病和开药治疗，今天我父亲已经恢复正常我代表全家感谢您们全体Campsie Medical Centre 的敬业精神和高超医术！

Fantastic experience: Nice receptionists and has the only Dr that I would go and see Dr Sahil Mediratta. He really takes his time with you and has been very helpful to both my self and my girlfriend in the past. He doesn't pretend to know everything and is happy to do research while you discuss through your options together. I am not someone who likes Drs very much and I certainly don't trust them so this is very high praise from someone like me that's lived in Chronic pain his whole life. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I came here for the COVID vaccines. Their booking system was easy to use. The staff were nice on arrival and appeared very organised. The first dose users were sent to the upper floor and second dose users were sent to ground floor rooms. I had smooth experience in both jab experiences.

Fantastic experience: I went for my second dose of Pfizer vaccine. I was in and out in 25 minutes . Very fast, very efficient. Dr. Tse present to explain and give information so there is informed consent . My appointment of second dose was 6 weeks apart somewhere else on 26/8/21 so I was absolutely grateful that I can get my second dose earlier ( three weeks apart ) at the Campsie Medical Practice

Positive experience: Dr Karen Pok is a very thorough GP. She always try to get to the bottom of what’s going on. The nurses are also very friendly and the receptionists go above and beyond to book appointments. I was thankful that they got me an appointment very last minute. It was with Dr Julian. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable and was highly abrupt and rude. I do not recommend this Dr and will never be dealing with him ever again.

Fantastic experience: Came here based off of the recommendation of my girlfriend. First of all, the frontal waiting area is very professional, and plenty of space for seats (at least on a Monday afternoon). The nurse saw to me quickly, and even though I was new, ran through all the general medical questions as a preassessment. She was professional, polite and efficient. After I was shown to the doctor, the doctor was a very young man, who asked everything about my symptoms, concerns and was also incredibly friendly, warm and embodies everything about the oath to look after people. I was scared I would need to take a blood test due to my symptoms, but the doctor ran me through the medical reasons why my nerves were sensitive and why I was having some particular numbness in my hand. It took this doctor only 5 or so minutes to narrow down, explain and comfort me. Who also, at request, assisted me in getting a blood test recommendation. I could not recommend this practice with anymore passion than 5 stars. Incredible service and it made me feel like I was with someone I could literally trust with my life. Once again, my partner was right. Bahaha

Fantastic experience: Dr Tim Tse promptly helped my father with a complex issues and helped escalate it to the right person. He was extremely profesional and empathic. Dr Karen Pok is my regular GP and has been extremely helpful.

Positive experience: I booked an appointment for my Dad for his first follow up appointment after having heart bypass surgery. We didn't have to wait long. The practice nurse, Sandy, was very kind and thorough and Dr Pok was also very professional and took her time to ensure all the follow up request by the discharge hospital was done. Both were able to speak to my parents in Cantonese, which was important and easier for them both. The receptionists were also very helpful when it came to rebooking follow up appointments. Only shame is there's no onsite parking, but worth it to have good care.

Fantastic experience: I want to highly recommend Dr Irene Rosul. Dr Irene just performed the most thorough, quick and pain free pap smear that I've ever had in my life! Dr Irene made me feel so at ease and before I knew it we were done. Thank you Dr Irene, I'm sure there will be lots of women wanting to come & see you for their next pap smear. Not only are you performing a "not so enjoyable task for us" with every pap smear you perform, you are saving lives! I have been fortunate to be looked after by Dr Tse (He is a medical angel) Leo, Jeff and the lovely staff at Campsie Medical for sometime now. These doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, nurses, admin & reception staff do their best every single time they see us! We really are the lucky ones to have you treat and care for us. Negative experience: Do not see dr Irene Rosul. She is the most terrible doctor that I have ever seen in my life. I asked her to show me the result of CT scan films, she said that she doesn't know how to view, then tell me that job done, go home. She also gave me the result that has been given from one week before by Dr Karen. That's mean she did NOT give me the new result, which I really want to know. NEVER SEE HER AGAIN!!!!

She is definitely my new family gp, every other doctor i've seen in campsie are very rude and just sit there to collect cash per patient with arrogant attitude, so happy to have met Karen, she also takes her time with your issues!
