Negative experience: One of the rudest Doctor ever I have seen, Dr Hani Tawk. I would give him zero rating if I am allowed to do so. Avoid this place specially if you are seeing Dr Hani. Where is the communication ethics with patient I don’t know.
Fantastic experience: Very caring and capable practice
Negative experience: Dr Tawk was extremely rude and dismissive. I stopped going to this clinic and found much better bulk billing doctors who take my symptoms seriously. I recommend doing your research and find another bulk billing clinic. The receptionists and nurse are lovely though

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr. Leary at Panacea for years and have consistently received exceptional, comprehensive care. Dr. Leary genuinely invests in her patients, offering more than just quick fixes by thoroughly investigating and addressing the root of every issue. I’m always happy to travel a long way just to see her, and the friendly, efficient care provided by the receptionists and nurses only adds to the excellent experience.

Negative experience: My wife recently visited this clinic for our baby’s one-year vaccination. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Tawk was very disappointing. His demeanor was unprofessional, and he appeared to be impatient and rough with our child. Without explaining his actions, he took our baby to another room without first informing my wife or seeking her consent. He did not explain the type of vaccine he was administering, and his rushed attitude was evident—he discarded the vaccination book and our baby’s clothing carelessly. This approach left our baby visibly distressed, which has never been the case with other GPs. Dr. Tawk’s lack of communication and consideration for my wife and child’s comfort was troubling, and his handling left both of them traumatized. Based on this experience, we do not feel confident in returning to this clinic, as we believe more care and sensitivity should be shown when dealing with young children. Please do not come here for baby check ups!
Thank you for sharing your family experience with us. Sorry if our service did not meet the WIFE or YOUR expectation. We read your concerns and we promise to give it a more deeper thought. Nonetheless, we have realized that it is out of context BUT we can understand you are reporting what you have been told. Just to put things into the right perspective, your heavily pregnant wife came on her own with your lovely son, as a new patient booked for a full health check and the 12 months vaccination on a Saturday. The doctor had to do a new patient health assessment, the 12 months health check and the vaccination. All of these involve a lot of measurement, physical examination and of the course the vaccinations. Surprisingly, the child handle it well and fell asleep after the examination and had to be be waken up before the vaccination. Therefore, the doctor had the chance to explain to the wife about the three vaccines he was having, and in fact gave her advise about the pregnancy and the procedure needed to move her antenatal record from the hospital in the city to Westmead. Also, he had to help a pregnant woman with the procedure. When the baby's scale could not be used because of the baby size, the doctor had to carry the baby to another consult room to use another scale and mum was with the baby. It is expected for the child to cry after the vaccination. At the end and later when you stormed the consult room and you talk to the doctor like you did without introducing yourself and later apologized that you a concerned father the doctor accepted you apology and he continue to list for both of u the Side effect of the vaccination to expect. Fantastic experience: I have been having blood tests for a long time and regularly with Pamela and I have always found her to be friendly, caring and professional. I love her terms of endearment towards her clients. Pamela makes you feel calm and relaxed. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my blood tests.
Negative experience: I had a bad experience with Panacea Health Clinic/Australian Clinical Labs. I went to get a blood test for the first time. I was served by Pamela who’s there monday to friday open to close, and she was rude, condescending and dismissive. Whenever I asked her a question, she would answer in a way which was condescending and belittling to a younger customer who is just seeking advice. She kept calling me names to belittle me, such as sweetie and honey. Pamela also made belittling comments to me, such as that “it’s not that difficult, it’s just we don’t carry it try somewhere else” when I had a specific test which they didn’t carry the tube for. When I asked if my doctor would have known if this test was harder to get done, she said “obviously she wouldnt she doesn’t work here.” As much as I wasn’t an expert on blood tests (i have never gotten one done before), she was the worst person to be served by and was just bluntly rude. My family has been here before and said the employees have been rude as well. I would rate this place a 0/5 star if possible.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bijal Ghelani is the absolute best! She has been by my side for the past 3+ years during complex prescriptions, mental health monitoring, specialist referrals, regular blood tests, women’s health, and even a surprise knee injury - the list goes on. I’d still see Dr Ghelani as my regular GP if I hadn’t moved so far away. The pathologist and nurse (salamat sa lahat) are so friendly and always made me feel relaxed no matter the procedure. The front desk staff (often also the pathologist) - while no nonsense - is friendly and accommodating. This practise is not stuck in the Stone Age like so many others out there and it made life a breeze. As a woman, it’s hard to find a doctor that sees past the pill or losing weight as the solution for everything. The bar is so low, but when I found Dr Ghelani, she showed me what a doctor can really do to help me. She went above and beyond! In summary, Panacea Health Clinic has an advantage to other clinics in the area because Dr Ghelani is with them. She is a huge asset to the practise, and you should totally make her your regular GP!
Negative experience: Won’t be going back, this doctor didn’t listen to me, thought I was an idiot . Took me 15 mins to convince him my fractured rib was on the left side instead the right like a scan report. The 1st 5mins he told me he can’t take new patients, wasted 40 mins . I leant after 30 years working on the side of doctor, a doctor doesn’t even touch to find the symptoms need a new job. This tawk had a lacky take my blood pressure cause it was beneath him.
Sorry! Accepting long term patient care is a big responsibilty and our doctor take it Very seriously. Your Xray report was wrong and the doctor had to call the radiology center to clarify it. The doctor found that your blood pressure was very high and it was missed by the ED doctor and he treated you for it.
Negative experience: Dr. Hani was so unwelcoming and on our first visit without hearing a problem suggested us to go back to Old GP for sake of patient history records (excuse) without even asking and listening to the patient problem and purpose of visit, anyway after some arguement he accepted to listen the problem which was to obtain a referral for specialist, he noted to next time come with full documents so he can help better. Which i did in today's visit and went with full documentation but again without looking the requested documents he start excusing and insist to see the old GP; What if someone change the house and go to nearest GP??? never came across any GP refuses to see on that ground in last 10 years. Changed my house multiple time and everytime new GP listened to the request and try to help out except Dr. Hani who didn't bother to listen to your problem and started a convo to go back to OLD GP.... pathetic professional advice in my honest opinion.
Sorry for your frustration and thank you for sharing it with us. I can totally understand as a father you are trying to do what is convenient for you. But unfortunately not always it works this way. Anyhow, your son medical problems is too complex for any new doctor to help because it require the GP to read and study the file, sorted out and enter it in the system. I was trying to explain all these to you. All of this is needed especially if you are dealing with organisation like NDIS or specialist. I did info you that first time you came and apologized for not been able to accept your son care but you keep insisting. Anyhow. Sorry again and Good luck Hani

He is friendly, accommodating, and compassionate, we have never felt rushed during appointments. They have an on-site pathology facility, and I must say that the lady there is an absolute gem! She is professional, efficient, and always makes us feel at ease. The facility is very neat and having a pathology in the clinic is a bonus. Dr Hani Tawk is one of the best doctors I have seen. He is very knowledgeable, caring and polite. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Panacea Health Clinic, everyone from receptionist, nurse to the doctor, Dr Tawk are all very helpful and with great patience, they are very caring. Especially the nurse who is very kind. Dr Ghelani has been very patient and nice in understanding my medical concerns and queries. She would then give corresponding responses, give suggestions and make respective referrals when needed. Furthermore, she would show concern to the referrals made by suggesting me to come back to see her for follow-up. Besides, the reception lady is friendly and nice in greeting me and answering questions. I am happy to recommend them to others.

If you want to stay healthy don’t go to this medical centre

I always believed that the clinic, staff and your long term GP done a great job in managing your very complex medical problems over the years. Sorry if it was not the case. Negative experience: I wish I could give less than a star if possible. I have been there twice for my gestational diabetes test. Tha lady at the pathology asked me to come the next day after fasting for 10 hours and after swapping my shift at such a short notice when I went, she told me that I should have booked it. I insisted as I moved my scheduled around the appointment but she was so rude. I asked her why didnt she tell me all that when I saw her a day before and she said, she did but clearly she did not. She not only wasted my time but also made me starve for good 12 hours at 28 weeks pregnant. Let alone affected my work schedule and everything around it. It is the worst clinic and the worst services ever. The pathology staff is very rude and not at all accomodating or apologetic about their actions. Please dont book the services there if you value your time.
Negative experience: Totally annoyed after visiting for the first time and a total waste of time. My appointment time was at 10:30am but I had to wait until 11:15am for my GP Dr Tawk. I found Dr. Tawk pretty much rude. He assumed that I don’t work out and Called me ‘Fat”! Lol! I wanted to show him my daily work out records for last 5 years that’s on my iPhone however, I felt that i was useless to argue with someone who doesn’t have manner. Moreover, they don’t have EPTPOS terminal so payment must be made by either cash or bank transfer which was really annoying. The only good thing about the clinic is everything was tidy up, neat and clean and the receptionists were friendly. That’s why giving 2 star. Totally disorganised, time wasting, and not gonna recommend to anyone. Period.

Negative experience: Well, as a new patient I had a worse experience with Dr Roberta Leary. She made me waited for almost 45mins and so cranky and aggressively answered me which was rude so unprofessional I think just because in the afternoon she was exhausted. Negative experience: My ear was uncomfortable so I called the clinic to ask the fee they charge for consultation because I don’t have Medicare. The reception guy told me within 20 minutes it’s 50$. 40mins for 90$. After I finished consultation, which took less than 15 mins), they charged me 90$. I questioned the reception guy, he said the doctor says so. And the consultation was very basic, the doctor did not even use any advanced machines as I expected. Won’t go there again.
Fantastic experience: As a family we are very very happy and satisfied with the medical treatment, care and respect shown by all the Doctors at this practice including the nurses and all admin staff. Special mention for Dr Gilbertson and Dr Tawk. It took me awhile after moving here in 2015 from the Mid North Coast to find a GP that we can trust and feel comfortable with and now we will never change Drs. Highly recommend this medical practice to everyone

Fantastic experience: Have been coming here for a few years and have Dr. Gilbertson as my long term doctor to get some history going. Find him very thorough and caring. Also started bringing my kids to see Dr Tawk who is so good with them, and he also sees me when I don't have an appointment for my usual doctor. Dr Tawk is caring and explains well what any symptoms are. Medical practise is clean and efficient and I get seen quickly even without an appointment (early mornings).
Fantastic experience: Happy to go there. Appointment was not problem(early morning) .I came just for vacination.its pitty i have to go chemist for it. But however. So i paid 90$ for long consultation. Stuff is friendly. U cannot pay by card :(
Fantastic experience: Amazing doctors that are attentive and thorough and will give you all the care and time you need. They listen to their patients. Dr. Gilbertson is a jewel - caring, knowledgeable, patient, and treats you as an individual, not a number. New management, so this clinic no longer has a lactation consultant or midwife.
