I had been thinking about the gastric sleeve for a fair few years now but never knew where to start and was so scared, I didn’t tell anyone I just made this decision by myself. Fantastic experience: I don't think 5 Stars are enough to describe how Impressed I am with the whole experience with Dr. Armstrong and his team. I know different people have different experiences but, as for mine, I didn't experience any sort of pain or disconfort in the days following the procedure, everything is going smooth and 2 weeks after surgery, I feel perfectly well and back at work. I am sure that the great skills of the doctor are part of the reason for this great post op. Doctor Armstrong was just fantastic, he explained everything to details and gave me that confidence to trust him from the first appointment. He has been onest and clear on everything regarding the procedure giving me a realistic picture of the procedure and post op. Fantastic experience: I've had my surgery on 12 Nov 2021 and have not regret it since day 1. I had minimal pain, no vomiting, nausea or reflux. I've been a diabetic for about 9 years. After surgery I'm off Insulin, Metformin, Trulicuty and Trajenta. My sugar blood glucose are at normal levels between 5-6 every morning. I feel fantastic. Fantastic experience: I chose Dr. Armstrong for my surgery because of his flawless reputation, the great medical universities and institutions where he studied, and his friendly and open personality (which allowed me to ask anything I wanted without being rushed). Having gone through the surgery about 3 weeks ago, I am happy to say that I was right with my choice. I have experienced no pain during the entire pre-op, hospital stay and post-op period, and I have already lost 13kgs with no hunger and no discomfort. Dr. Armstrong visited me at the hospital every day, listened to all of my worries, and answered all questions, etc. While a few things caused me to worry at the hospital (such as drop in my pulse rate and blood pressure relative to what it was before surgery), he re-assured me that everything was OK, and he was right. One day after leaving the hospital I began feeling quite OK, 8 days after leaving the hospital I began driving again, 17 days after surgery I began going to the gym, etc. I am very happy with the surgeon choice I made and with the results to date. Positive experience: Jon removed my lap band in March, prior to gastric sleeve surgery in September. I wasnt thrilled when told I would have to wait 6 months instead of 3 for the sleeve surgery as my stomach and liver needed more time to heal and return to "normal" after the removal. However, despite my disappointment, this demonstrates his integrity in prioritising best-practise patient care, and facilitation of the most successful surgical outcomes for his patients. Because of this, I have every confidence that my sleeve surgery will be expertly executed by Jon, and I look forward to achieving my health goals in alignment with his medical reccommendations.

Fantastic experience: I am located 3hr NE of Kalgoorlie. All the pre-op appointments were conducted over Skpye. I was very pleased with communication throughout the process and now 50 days later I am pleased with the results, 15kg lighter and dropping 1-2 kg a week. Changing eating habits has not been easy and I have had difficulties remaining hydrated in the constant +40degC days. I have contacted the surgeon's rooms several times and received the advice to help me through without having to travel back to Perth. Thumbs up from me, a great surgeon and excellent support staff.

Dr Jon and his team were professional, welcoming and extremely transparent throughout process, which I really appreciated. I dont live in Perth so was able to have all my initial consultations via Skype and was given thourough information both pre and post surgery. If you are going to make a big decision like a gastric sleeve , then go for the best and that's Dr Jon.

Fantastic experience: Dr Armstrong is the absolute best you will ever find. Cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. From the day you make the appointment through to the follow up after surgery they are the most Lovely people you will ever meet. Jon is the top of his field and cannot be faulted. I watched my friend go through surgery with him and had my lapband removed followed by gastric sleeve surgery with him- and couldn’t find someone more caring and involved in the process. Funny, down to earth and approachable, he made the whole thing a breeze. Don’t look anywhere else- Dr Armstrong is definitely the doctor you need.

Fantastic experience: The first impression experienced was from the very friendly and efficient staff at the reception for my first appointment. From the first appointment with Dr Jon Armstrong to pre surgery Jon provides a very personal, relaxed and informative approach. The surgery team including Dr Twain Russell, the anaesthetist, were very professional and their bed side manner was very relaxing with a bit of humour thrown in. Jon saw me after the operation and the next morning in the hospital. Post op appointment at Dr Armstrong's room he explained the pathology results and offered any follow up appointments if I needed them. I really appreciated the very friendly and relaxed atmosphere Dr Jon Armstrong provides and the whole process was excellent and could not have been better.

Fantastic experience: Dr John And his team are really THE BEST. Being my first surgery ever it was important to know inside and out what will happen, and John took his time on each meeting to discuss every single aspect and was able to answer all of my questions. Post surgery he visited me every day at hospital and showed genuine care for me not just as patient but as person. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Armstrong by my colleague who had previously done a surgery with him. My colleague was very satisfied with the outcome of his surgery. I also had my surgery done with Dr Armstrong recently and I too, am very pleased with the outcome.
