Fantastic experience: I love this pharmacy! I get my monthly Bach flower preparation here, and they always have a great selection of natural products. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, they’re no longer open on Saturdays, which makes it difficult for me since I work Monday to Friday. It would be great if they could consider opening at least half a day on Saturdays.

Negative experience: RIPPED OFF! Before visiting, I checked the website to see if the product I wanted was available. Yes it was, and was a little less $20, okay. I visited and asked for the product which came from behind the counter and then upon purchase was asked for over $50! A little confused, I paid, exited the shop to double check what I saw on his website was correct, and yes, the very same product was $17. I went back in and questioned why I was charged so much while showing him the price on my phone and after trying to make some excuses, he reluctantly refunded me $20. Which still didn't add up! I ended up paying $32 instead of $17. Order online, otherwise risk being profiled and ripped off. It was for 100g of boric acid for which I was charged $52.50.

Fantastic experience: Been coming for a couple of years, and cannot fault the service let alone knowledgeable staff. Always get herbal tea, which is at a reasonable price, easy access via public transport.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER encountered. When I approached the counter with a sensitive query, the lady continued to work on her computer, I felt as if I was disturbing het day. Once I was given a product, I had to Pull information and felt as though I should take my custom elsewhere - which I will be. Shame on you.

Negative experience: Totally a lier. They told me to pick up my medicine on Thursday, but when I went there on Friday, it was still not ready. I was not happy and they told me they can make it now for me and ask me to wait for 10 minutes. Then an old man came out told me he is the boss, sorry for the waiting, this cream is very special and it is $140. I can just charge you for $120 as feel sorry for the waiting. But I know that’s not the price. When I drop off the prescription, a lady told me it is $95 and she even wrote it on the prescription. He is trying to play a trick and overcharge me for $30 !!! Shame on him. So the way to show your apology is to trying to over charge me???

Fantastic experience: I had written a review pertaining to a product ordered from Newtons which had changed in quality. This concerned 1kg of hops tea, quality of which differed greatly to that in 10g packets. I subsequently spoke to the Manager and composed an email as per her directions. In my letter I requested exchange of half the product I ordered for one of better quality, and a shop credit for the remainder. The Manager responded to my request. She has agreed to the return of half of the hops in exchange for a batch of better quality, and to providing a shop credit for the remainder. My contribution was covering postage and providing Newtons with a tracking number. In my view Newtons have responded adequately and in a timely fashion to my issue regarding quality. I am thus amending my previous post and rating.

Fantastic experience: Recently bought casteroil pack was very Impressed wih 100% wool cloth as I had previously used old clean flannel cloth not as soft as wool cloth. Caster oil is an amazing pain relief oil. Also bought some of the vitamin C & rosehip oil face cream,texture was beautiful when I took the lid off the jar it brought to my thoughts if this cream makes my skin look like a rose petal as the rose hip oil fragrance bought to my senses I will be a very happy lady. Fantastic experience: Live in Singapore and miss compound pharmacies. Your store was recommended because I had run out of something provided to me from the US for a specific condition. Nothing complicated, but your team put something together in 5 mins, was a third of the price, and worked just as well. Lovely helpful staff walked me through it. Wish I could stop in before I fly out tomorrow!

Fantastic experience: I am a person who loves skincare and Newton's pharmacy is one of those places where you get everything under one roof. Their items are not something you get in every other pharmacy. Recently I visited and found a rare gift idea that makes me want to come back for more. Their LOVE IN WOMEN fragrance is out of this world. It has a very fresh top note with a fruity middle note and a honey after taste that leaves you wanting more.

Negative experience: I have contacted this pharmacy 5 times to obtain assistance and in turn purchase some products. Each time I contacted them, the woman with a very strong accent informed me that the pharmacist would make contact to discuss further and I am still waiting even after following up a number of times and 6 weeks after my first contact. I can only assume they no longer need customers and encourage everyone to think twice if they are contemplating a visit or doing any business with Newtons as they certainly don’t want your business!

Fantastic experience: I visited this pharmacy for the first time today and I love the product selection they have. They stock brands that are sustainable, ethical and natural, many from local businesses. The staff was helpful and polite. I also love how silent the store is, made my experience pleasant and calming, an escape from the constant noise of the city.

Fantastic experience: I recently had Covid and had the NCV 200 Homeopathic formula which helped alot in my recovery along with other vitamins and supplements. The team at Newtons were friendly, helpful and compassionate, they gave me the help I needed.

Negative experience: Their homeopathic remedies produced in store don’t seem to be made properly. Bought a remedy recently, which did not have any effect after a week. Tried a different brand (Owen) and the effect was immediate and palpable. When we called and asked if they sold more of Owen Homeopathic remedies, personnel lied outright and said they didn’t despite it being on the counter.

Negative experience: 5 stars for the products 0 stars for the service. I called the store an HOUR ahead for a pickup order, once I got there the guy said it wont be too long. I waited an extra 20 mins once I got there. The product that I order and paid for was NOT even packed. That is incredibly unprofessional lying to someone telling them that It wont be long considering I called ahead. What the store sells, is not the problem. 5 stars for the products 0 stars for the service.

Negative experience: Today is my first visit of this shop. I was so happy to find this naturapath shop is Sydney. I came to buy few items today. The custer service of couple salesmens disappointed me. The guy Tom before starting serving me he said he can't provide consultay in the counter. I lost my appetite to continue the conversation. Another salesman's behaviour was also unfriendly. As a custermer do I not deserve a bit respect? I hope the management of this shop will look at it for it's own good.

Positive experience: I have been customer of Newton pharmacy from last 1 year. Bought several different homeopathy remedies but recently the quality of remedies and customer service is gone bad. Yesterday (08/02/2018) I asked them to provide Avena Sativa extract TRQ (darker colour) but they provided something else which is very light in colour. Now they asking me to pay extra and get replacement. What kind of service are they providing?

Fantastic experience: I happened to visit the pharmacy in a attempt to get some over the counter medication to help my daughter, who had been sick for over two months and her condition was rapidly deteriorating. I met Dr Elena, who suggested some medication and advised I could do a consultation. Within a couple of days, my daughter made a remarkable recovery. We did a consultation and Dr Elena rightly figured the root cause. In less than a week, my daughter felt so much better and is now back to normal. This, after seeing a few doctors and being recommended a surgical procedure. Dr Elena has truly been our Christmas miracle and I am ever so grateful to have found the pharmacy and such an amazing doctor. Thank you so much from our whole family. Thanks to you, my daughter was able to enjoy a nice meal at Christmas after ages. I would highly recommend Dr Elena...she is truly amazing! She fixed in five days what allopathic doctors could not fix for months.

Negative experience: Very bad experience!!!!!!!!! I'm very disappointed with the homeopathic section of the pharmacy. Poor customer service!!! I've called them to check the availability of some homeopathy medicines and they confirmed it's available and we can pick them up on the same day, I've specified clearly that my husband is on his way to go there and pick them up and they've confirmed it's available and he can get it. Once he arrived the pharmacist was not available, he stayed outside -1 hour -for the pharmacist to come back, and then pharmacist denied that he received the call ( I've already checked the pharmacist name and my husband also talked to the same person there), although it was very strange to him as my husband already heard my conversation with the pharmacy in the morning, he said that would be ok if they didn't put it aside , and asked just while he is there to prepare those medicines ( no preparation actually was required, as I already checked it was available there and also in their website), they refused to provide it and send him back . He wasted 2hours and half of his time today to travel from Lane cove to city including waiting for the pharmacist with no result. Actually when you are talking about homeopathy it is about a holistic health treatment solution. When just delivering a medicine is so difficult and unmanageable at this pharmacy , I think it'd better to think twice if you get the consultation from them. That's your health!!!!!

They made me a copy of a remedy I’ve got from overseas and run out of, and literally saved my life after birth of my third child. They also have an amazing range of their own custom herbal remedies and ointments, very potent and efficient. Always happy to take order by phone, great and very humanely kind service. I am so happy I found them 3 years ago but apparently they have been there for ages, literally.

Positive experience: I have read lovely reviews but my own experience has been very average. I took time off work to visit the pharmacy because the opening hours are restrictive unless you work/live in the city. I saw a homeopath who needed to research my query to work out a preparation, I had to leave extensive personal details then she never got back to me (some weeks ago in mid-Sept), I went elsewhere. In that same visit I was assured they could order in a particular supplement, I have called twice to try to order, first reply was never heard of it - yet a friend went to Newton's and purchased it over the counter for me, and the 2nd time was advised they don't stock it and haven't for ages, again managed to buy over the counter. Probably an ok pharmacy depending on who you get but I wouldn't struggle to visit there again.

Negative experience: I just called Newtowns pharmacy to ask advice in regards to my father who is suffering from advanced cancer with all treatments now stopped and has been told that he has around 12 months to live. I called to ask for advice and to run natural remedies by them as they are a compounding chemist - assuming they could provide information for me to better help my father. I used Newtons pharmacy just over 2 years ago when my partner was diagnosed with cancer. I spoke with a woman who had been extremely helpful and we purchased an array of natural supplements. Due to unfortunate times I thought I would revert back to them for advice regarding my fathers cancer. Unfortunately on this occassion the individual whom i spoke with seemed quite uninterested or unwilling to help me. I will most definitely not be using the services of this chemist again.

Positive experience: Good drugs

Fantastic experience: My 16yr old daughter has severe back pain, due to a slipped disc, and is too young for "regular" pain medication as it has severe side effects and causes damage to growing bodies. The particular pain medication indicated is one my mother-in-law takes. She has had spinal surgury to repair spina bifida, discovered in her 40's and steel rods implanted to stabilize her spine. She only takes the pain medication a maximum of 3 times per week as it causes kidney and liver damage, she puts up with the pain the rest of the time. My mother-in-law is in her 70's. My daughter, at 16, was unable to walk without severe pain. I took her to Newton's, she was white with pain, they gave her a chair immediately and then spoke to her about her pain. They made up some drops, recommended she take them with water and we went back to the car, parked under the QVB. By the time we drove home, 40 mins, my daughter was pain free and could stand straight up and walk normally. The drops have been wonderful. She is in year 12, has a heavy school bag to carry as her school has lots of stairs. We have seen all sorts of specialists for her back, there is a slight scoliosis of the lumbar region which is causing all the pain. Good posture is very important for her back health, but the pain never goes away, unless she takes the drops from Newton's Pharmacy. Thank you Newton's, pain killers with no side effects.
