Negative experience: Been to this clinic a few times now. The admin ladies at the front reception are incredibly rude. They do not even acknowledge you when you walk up to the counter, don’t even greet you, all I got was “name?”, as a person who works in customer relations a simple greeting is basic manners that most children even have Some of the doctors call out the patient name down the other end of the hall, doesn’t even have the decency to walk into the waiting room area and call the patient’s name(least you’d expect for paying $90 for a few minutes of their time)

Negative experience: Be careful. I was told that I would be left $100 out of pocket by Dr Clement for having a mole removed from my back. I paid $100 on the day of the incision. Today when I returned to have my suture removed, I was charged another $195 and told that I would receive $50 back from Medicare. This would have me $245 out of pocket. After I complained they refunded me $50 and told me my Medicare refund would be $95. This still leaves me out of pocket $150. Feels like a big scam to me.

Negative experience: I was told by reception that they were “too busy” to follow up my cancer test results, and they didn’t want to “wait on hold” so I would have to call the national cancer register myself. Once I did that I did that, they advised that this is my Drs/the clinics responsibility to follow up the results, not mine. I contacted the clinic 3 further times to follow up these results, nothing was done about it, no follow up made, resulting in me waiting 4 weeks in extreme pain for results that were supposed to come back in 2 weeks. Receptionists are rude, unhelpful and do not understand any sense of urgency.

Positive experience: Staff is very friendly,generally good doctors except Dr Punnet won't see him again.

Negative experience: $90 for a 6 minute phone consult for an e-script you have to be kidding. That was my last time at this clinic. Bye

Negative experience: I had the third appointment for the day and somehow had to wait 35 minutes past my appointment time. After now waiting 2 weeks for the results of my blood tests they're 1.5 hours late for my phone appointment. Such an unprofessional clinic. Don't bother calling me I will not answer.

Negative experience: The doctor is great but the admin staff are completely incompetent! My husband asked for a urgent medical report to completed by the doctor. 1 weeks ago. We called 3 times asking for an update and the admin staff kept saying they would check with the doctor. Get a phone call from them today (Friday) asking for payment. We asked when the form was completed and the admin staff said it was already completed by the doctors on Monday but couldn't send it without payment. All those times my husband called asking for an update, not one of thoae admin staff told him it required payment. They delayed us by 1 week because of their incompetence! Extremely unprofessional!

Negative experience: I visited this practise last week for a chest cold and was presecribed anti biotics, ventolin and pregnasone which is a steroid and i am asthmatic. A test was completed which came back negative for covid, influenca etc 2 days later. I followed the process of the prescribed medication and felt much better but a slight chest infection remained which i know will be gone with a renewed script. I arranged a telephone appointment to renew the anti biotic script and avoid the consultation fee because this practise doesnt bulk bill. The female Doctor i spoke to after waiting for my telephone appt after time asked me the normal questions which i answered honestly. The Doctor only wanted me to visit the clinic which i do not need to do so they can get the money off the patient as they will not bulk bill unless you have a concession. This Doctor refused to provide me what im asking for to get better which is completely unreasonable stating that her license was responsible for perscribing anti biotics and without visiting the surgery to complete a test i was already tested for proves this Doctor is purely revenue raising and less concerned about a patients well being. It didnt concern them to administor an experimental drug for a mild to medium flu ie: Covid 19 with 140000 cases in Australia alone of injection injuries as of December 2024. Yet a prescription for a mild chest infection that has already been diagnosed that is nearly gone becomes a license issue for the Doctor all of a sudden. I do not recommed such incompetence purely focused on money because a phone consultation for a script renewal will not generate revenue. Greedy and authoriarian who should not be licensed or helping people get well. If my chest infection gets worse before my booked phone consultation next Monday with the original doctor I saw then i will be making a formal complaint for ignorance and ignoring a patients request for malpractise and disregard for a patients well being. I have had a chest cold several times in my 52 years and I have never been given resistance to have anti biotics EVER. I wasnt asking for valium, oxycodine, riddelin, it is anti biotics and yet she felt the urge to be greedy and authoriatrian. Extremely unprofessional.

Negative experience: Have been here once before for my husband and had great service, especially from the lovely doctor he saw. But today, it couldn’t have been any worse! We had an emergency episode with my 3 year old and was a couple minutes down the road so took her straight here. They close between 12-1pm, I tried calling and no answer which was fine, we knocked on the door loudly around 5 times with a screaming 3 year old. When finally, the receptionist peeps around the corner then walks away. 5 minutes later she comes back and sits at her desk with a coffee right infront of us (while we still were knocking at the door!) avoiding eye contact with us. Finally 1pm hits and she opens the door. I walk in and say straight away there was a reason why we were knocking so much! She would have seen our screaming 3 year old before she opened the door. Then we have to fill out a medical form, of course, then the doctor takes in their other patients before they see our child. I honestly can’t believe this. How POOR of this practice in every way. We finally seen the dr, who Im not even going to bother commenting on. Anyways, we ended up in hospital this afternoon with our little one. Thanks for the terrible experience guys. I hope this feedback gives you something to work on.

Negative experience: I took my son to see Dr Zia for an ear infection on a Sunday. He gave me drops for his ear and said there was nothing much to see. My son was in worse pain by Monday morning so I took him to see a GP at MyLcalDoc where I found out he had a protruding eardrum that was about burst - I was furious we started him on oral antibiotics and prayed that his drum didn't burst. Pathetic Drs. I wouldn't touch that clinic again not even for an urgent appt. Glad I fought about the ridiculous outrageous price for a child's consultation on a weekend and had it BB and let's not get started on how filthy the waiting room is either .

Negative experience: Expecting patients to pay another $90+ to get results which takes 5min that's over $1000 an hour. Yes they care about money not your health. The doctor was thorough but don't expect quality service from the desk.

Negative experience: I appreciate all Doctors they are really good but in the perceptionist the lady with short hair and Grey hair she is really rude I don't know how she qualify for this job. It's was my last time I been to beerwah family clinic I will never go there any more.

Negative experience: Money means more to this practice than peoples mental health and well being. Such a disgrace in this day and age. Check out another local surgery in the main street and explain your situation, and they will work something out for you. This practice clearly does not care.

Negative experience: Love my doc here but very long wait times for docs and today, nurses for a health check. What's the point of making an appt when they're always late? We have lives and other appts too. It would be nice on check in to know how far behind they are so we have the option to wait or leave. I travel 45 mins to get here and then sit twiddling my thumbs for 30+ minutes. If I hadn't travelled so far I would have walked out by now.

Negative experience: I was unable to come to appointment and forgot to call about it as I was held back at work, I missed a call from them and rung back and said hello and said my name and said I missed a call from youse, and the receptionist responded as if I attacked her saying well I didn't call you, and that i was late for my appointment, I unfortunately couldn't arrive but asked if it was possible to do a phone consult as the doctor suggested to do it. She just said no, the next patient is ready. It was 15mins past my scheduled appointment and as we all know we are waiting this amount or more at the doctors. She had no offer to schedule next appointment or phone consult and hung up straight away after I said ok to hearing her say no. Very very unprofessional, will not be coming back.

Negative experience: If you are in need of a new gp, don't even bother going here as they seem to have a no care policy about patients who need medical assistance!

Negative experience: Very disappointed in a recent visit. My regular Dr was not available as I needed a weekend appt. I saw Dr Rosenfeld, outcome was I was travelling 3 days later and no problem was diagnosed despite obvious symptoms and with my past medical history. I flew 9 hrs and and had to return to Australia and hospital where I was told I had Pneumonia. Totally ruined my holiday and cost me lost airfares.

Fantastic experience: Compassionate and lovely staff, I think everyone complaining about wait times needs to take into consideration this practice still bulk bills for adults. So obviously they're is going to be an increase in demand.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Clement was fantastic - he diagnosed me well and was very straight forward in discussing the issues which was very much appreciated.

Negative experience: Doctor was 20 minutes late because he was out for lunch! Didn't make any effort to listen to my daughter and examine her properly - just glanced in her throat and prescribed antibiotics. She got worse and I ended up taking her to another Doctor 2 days later who took swabs, blood tests, full history and diagnosed her properly, listening to her and taking time to answer her questions. And to think they both get the same Medicare fee - totally unfair to the Dr that takes his duties seriously. Lady on reception was lovely- the one star is for her.

Negative experience: Had the worst experience of my life with a Dr at this clinic.. and the 3 other occasions have also been horrendous… I will be taking the most recent experience further.. don’t go here.. they are terrible

Negative experience: I walked in for my appointment this afternoon and the ladies at the reception were horrible.Before i could even open my mouth one of the ladies mumbled something under her breathe stood up and left i then turned to the other receptionist and she totally ignored me.I stood there totally lost as to what to do next so my only option was to sit down and wait.Five mins later my phone rings and it's the same receptionist that ignored me calling me to tell me i was late for my appointment yet I had been seating there all that time waiting.She then asks me why I didn't check in ‍♀️and i responded that the lady i tried to speak to just disappeared and she just ignored me.She rolled her eyes and said she would let the doctor know i had arrived.She then proceeded to gossip with the other lady under the desk as she stuffed her mouth with food thinking i couldn't see her.The doctor was really lovely and was very professional and that's the only reason i would probably come back.They might as well just have a self check in kiosk because none of those receptionists look like they enjoy their jobs or even want to be there. As the first point of contact for the medical centre you would think they would be more professional and have better customer service.I would probably look at going to other medical centres before coming to this one‍♀️‍♀️!!!!

Negative experience: My husband attended this clinic with concerns of a growth on his scalp, doctor gave him a script for antiseptic cream and to come back in a week, not happy with that got a second opinion from doctor in Landsborough and the growth was a skin cancer….would not send my dogs to this particular doctor….

Negative experience: Had a second appointment via teleconference and was told a prescription would be emailed across of the antibiotics i had been on for the previous 5 days. No prescription was sent so called @8:54am the next day and I was advised my email address was input incorrectly. Clarified my email address and was told it would be emailed through. Called back @ 10:13am as I still had not received the prescription. Was told it was a busy morning with lots of emergencies...fair enough. I explained what the medication was for and that I was keen to get to a pharmacy. Receptionist said it would be sent within half an hour. Called back @ 11:54am as STILL NO PRESCRIPTION. Was then told I have to book an appointment ( that I wouldn't be charged for ) because it was a different doctor on duty who couldn't issue prescriptions off other doctors notes. THAT IS COMPLETE RUBBISH....ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Fantastic experience: Dr Neela Nazneen doctor is compassionate and very skillfully doctor. Dr Neela stayed back and did iron infusion herself while nurse has gone home, with compassion and kindness rarely seen these days. Dr Neela treated post covid caugh very efficiently , from the first visit the caught was treated - in a matter of week. Dr Neela has still and gold heart, top doctor you can find. Thank you DrNeela

Negative experience: The doctors here are really good. I like to see one in particular, but without exception, every single time I make an appointment I will get a phone call from reception telling me the doctor is not available and that I need to reschedule. Sometimes I get several day’s notice, other times I get 2 hours notice. Once I turned up for a rescheduled appointment only to be told my doctor wasn’t there and that they’d squeeze me in with someone else. I showed them my emailed appt confirmation and asked them to explain the error, to which they refused. Then, miraculously, my doctor appeared! There is something seriously wrong with the appt making procedure at this practice and it is extremely frustrating for patients. When I ask reception staff for an explanation I’m just greeted with sheer rudeness.

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but professional and friendly service at this medical centre. Dr Ahmed is a brilliant doctor, and very down to earth. Explains things superbly and he is a first rate carer. I know people who are patients of other doctors there and they have nothing but praise for them. Funny how many people complaining here appear to keep going back. They must be doing something right at the centre.For those who whinge about waiting..an appoinment is simply a guide, not a guarantee of being on time. Just like trains and planes really. No guarantees, but all effort made to be as close to time as possible. Of course if people do not like waiting they can go to a hospital and clog up the already busy waiting room to be triaged, and made wait longer.Then they can really whinge.

Negative experience: My teenage daughter was charged top fees and then never refunded the gap until I asked them to. When questioned over the high fees, I was advised - it depends on the type of doctor (simple consultation)??? Follow up after x-ray, - first appointment of the day booked - the doctor turned up over half an hour late, then used my daughter's phone to ring for x-ray results - told her what they said on the phone, then sent her out. Then they chased my daughter for more money. What about the time spent waiting and the use of her phone. What a joke. Find somewhere else!!!

Negative experience: Went to see a doctor and got prescribed medication that wasn't available. Went back again and prescribed another medication which is also not available. The surgery told me to just drive around until I find it.

Negative experience: Can't find a good thing to recommend about this practice. Sat there in immense pain and was only given a talking to but no investigation or follow up. Also the staff were telling me about how they are not paid on time and that they still hadn't been paid after 3 weeks of work. This is a disgrace and I feel really sorry for the workers in this situation they do alot and don't deserve to work for free. Would not recommend as a patient or staff member.

Negative experience: even if you have mask exemptions from one of the practicing dr, when it 13c and you are forced to wait outside for 30min for your appointment, when you don't have a car to keep warm... all because of mask protocols, then you find out you have a sinus infection... healthcare at work at its finest...

Find a better gp or a specialist, trust me...

Negative experience: Dr Cielo Marquez-Doyle Was very rude and uneducated. She didn't professionally address or take note in regards of I was actually there for.

Negative experience: This place deserves no stars. Horrible customer service by the younger lady that we dealt with and incredibly long wait times. No apologies or care in the world for their delays. Ended up walking out along with a few other people after an 1 hour and 30minute wait. Mangement needs to step up and do something.

Negative experience: Long wait times, docter forgot to call me with my results, didnt treat or help the issue that I came in with, now I have to find another gp that will actually be willing to help.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr Halima Goss. She really listens to your concerns and I recommend her for any female patients. She took the time to talk me through a breast exam, help me with my contraceptive pill and listened to me when I was interested in getting the cervical cancer vaccination. She is a kind and understanding doctor.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment and was assured that it would only be a 15 minute wait. I walked out after trying to keep a toddler with a high temperature entertained for 50 minutes.

Negative experience: I have had numerous problems with this gp. The scariest one being when I had meningitis. I went there 3 times as the doctors were doing nothing and I was getting worse, one doctor said "it's like you have meningitis but you're not sick enough" at the time I thought I can not get much more unwell!! Needless to say 1 hour later I was rushed to hospital. I wrote an email letting the practice manager know this had happened but no surprises, no reply or apologies. I will travel outside of the area if I need to. But I will not be taking my family to this practice for our own safety.

Positive experience: Always see Dr Zia. He knows what should be look closely and carefully and what is just your anxious blablabla. No nonsense.

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a doctor's surgery! Avoid at all costs. Just happy to take your money and send you home with antibiotics everytime! They don't bulk bill and don't even care about looking up your medical history.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nazneen Neela is my regular doctor, she is honestly the best doctor I have seen to this date. She greatly cares for her patients, is very thorough and astute and very easy to talk to. If you're a woman needing a female doctor I highly recommend her for this as well.

Negative experience: Been here 3 times now, the shortest time i spend waiting was 30 mins past my appointment time. But most recently i had a 50 minute wait, look i understand emergencies can happen, when i brought this up with the reception staff that it would be polite to let patients know they will take a little longer, THE LADY TOLD ME IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT TO FIND OUT WAIT TIMES. Are you kidding me ?? This isnt a bulk billing practice anymore start acting like it ffs.

Negative experience: I was so dispointed when I went to get my flu shot and was charged $96. I could have gone to a chemist for $18. As a patient of this surgery, I cant understand why you would do this. Very Disappointed.

Negative experience: Escorted my heavily pregnant daughter to this clinic for the important state funded whooping cough vaccine. Very disappointing for her to be additionally charged a standard consult fee (not even a brief consult fee) of $81.35 for which was no longer than max 2 mins to write a script !! Totally unacceptable when I myself as a future Grandad was not charged any consult fee for this vaccine at the more reputable and compassionate Beerwah Surgery. Strongly recommend not using this clinic as the they have recently changed the bulk billing to mixed despite deceivingly not amending advertising.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointing. I am heavily pregnant with twins and went in for a whooping cough injection. I spoke to the Dr for no more then 2 minutes, he simply took my BP and approved the script for the nurse to deliver the whooping cough injection. After the nurse was finished, I was told by reception it would cost me $81 with some Medicare rebate. As I’ve received this vaccine while pregnant it is government funded, I explained this to receptionist, she stated that the injection was indeed free however the GP had charged me for the “consult”, where no health concerns were raised, no problems to be solved, no questions were asked, hardly any talking and lasted approx 120 seconds before being handed to the nurse. Felt like daylight robbery, in no way was it worth the cost I was given. This surgery has declined rapidly. Money driven. NOT RECOMMENDED !!!!!

Negative experience: I recently fracture my ribs and was instructed by the hospital to go see my gp to get a prescription for endone to take every 4 hours so I can breath fully so I didn't contract Pneumonia. I told the doctor this and he prescribed me 10 tablets. I paid $79 to receive 2 days worth of needed medication. This doctors surgery has also nearly killed my father who was passing blood for 6 weeks and only prescribed antibiotics multiple times and multiple visits without any scans which resulted in an emergency surgery to remove part of his bowel and is now stuck with a stoma bag due to these doctors incompetence. The same doctor rang my fiance to say he didn't have time for her appointment while she was induring a mental breakdown and desperately needed her medication after a attempted suicide. For such incredible bad service I find it thievery to change to paid appointments

Negative experience: Always at least an hour late with no excuses, always dismiss health concerns as nothing and never have the time of day to actually discuss concerns. Try any other doctor in the region...

Negative experience: Doctors are quick to write off health concerns as nothing. Good doctor if you just need a medical certificate for work. If youve got serious concerns eg. A fractured eye socket( i only found because i persisted for an X ray after the doc dismissed it). Go elsewhere

Negative experience: Twice now, members of my family have had bookings here and upon arrival are told that the doctor is away sick. Why not contact the patient so alternative arrangements can be made? Common sense would be to contact the patient to give them another option so that their time is not wasted. Both times it has happened, the staff member could not care less. Both times we really needed to see a doctor on the day we booked, and they were quite annoyed that we just didn't rebook for another day.

Fantastic experience: Helpfull with appointments squeeze extras in most times easy access large sliding doors down to earth caring people....ring or walk in appointments male & female Drs + nurses allways on duty...chemist few shops up also xrays etc next door plenty parking allways out front or behind.

I have never had a long wait to see her, and she always takes the time to really thoroughly listen to my health concerns. Would give more stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: I do understand some peoples frustration. I did see one doctor there that didn't seam to care much at all. HOWEVER, I have since started seeing Dr Faris and I am more than happy with his attitude, professionalism, communication and competence. I have no problem recommending Dr Faris. I have also no complaint regard waiting time as have never had to wait like in other Beerwah medical centres.

Fantastic experience: We as a family have been going to Dr Faris now for roughly 12 months and he is a fantastic Dr. The service we have received at this surgery has been fabulous every time. So thank you!

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusted with the treatment my pregnant daughter received today by your Dr Puneet Agarwal.... or rather no treatment and bullying tactics!!!! My daughter went to your clinic for help as been unwell for 4 days...... at 20 weeks pregnant is suffering with fevers and ongoing cold/flu symptoms was too unwell to drive so made appointment locally.... When she explained this to Dr Agarwal he became rude and hostile to her saying “ohh so we are not good enough for you normally “ and refused to listen to her dismissing every thing she was trying to tell him. She left in tears and was very distressed when she called me. How dare a doctor treat someone like that when they are clearly unwell and needing help. I can assure you this will be going a lot higher. She did everything right and tried to stay out of the emergency department but thanks to the actions of your doctor the ED is exactly where she will end up!!!

Negative experience: Booked for ear syringing. Was told they booked at a time when nurse was available. Dr wasnt interested, told me I'd have to come back when they had nurse available. I complained that i had booked. He then made me wait 20 mins in treatment room, and then couldn't clean ear, very poor effort. Went to another clinic and they sorted me out. Poor care.

Negative experience: The convenience of being bulk-billed and open on weekends is counterbalanced by the wait times - the last two times I had an appointment I waited for well over 30 minutes. I was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and given a script for antibiotics. The doctor took a swab to send off for analysis and told me that they would let me know if it came back negative. They never phoned back, and it turns out that I was misdiagnosed. It's taken 4 weeks, a whole course of antibiotics and two separate appointments (with a combined wait time of about an hour and a half!) to actually figure out why I was sick in the first place. I'm not sure whether it was a clerical error or just outright incompetence, but it's absolutely poor form.

Negative experience: WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER HAD!!! I booked an appointment and I saw several people come in after me and leave before me. I waited for 20 minutes and asked the receptionist when I would be seeing the doctor and they told me that it would be “a few minutes and I will be seen to next”. I waited for an hour and a half and saw 10+ people be seen to before I was. I then asked the receptionist AGAIN when I would be seen to and was told that it would be “a few minutes and I will be seen to next”. Again I saw someone else be seen before me. I was over it and left. I would NEVER recommend this clinic to anyone. I would give 0 stars if I could. The service was AWFUL. Doctors were discriminatory and the receptionists were EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. DO NOT GO TO THIS MEDICAL CENTRE!!

Positive experience: It is convenient however be aware they double book their appointments and your looking at over an hour wait.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Dr Zia for his PRP cosmetic procedure. I'm having amazing results after only 1 treatment. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone with hair loss or hair thinning.

Positive experience: Had my first session of fat freezing done 2 weeks ago, Dr Zia and Sarah his assistant both put me at ease with their knowledge and professionalism, I found the experience quite pleasant, had no pain during or after the procedure, had very minimal bruising afterwards.

Negative experience: Wait is always very very long minimum 30mins

Fantastic experience: Had to go to get a script for whooping cough vaccine today as my first grandchild is due soon. Dr. was fantastic, and he also queried my general health etc ; the nurse who gave the injection humourous and caring. Didn't even feel the jab. All staff at front end very courteous. Thanks so much. Wait time minimal.

Negative experience: Everything the doctor said was wrong

Fantastic experience: My husband sustained a severe ligament tear injury to his elbow which he was told was inoperable and he was in chronic pain. The only option offered to him was long term pain medication. After discussion with Dr Zia, a suggestion was made to him that to trial a new technology referred to as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) which Dr Zia is highly trained in. The procedure entails the withdrawal of your own blood and this is spun then the plasma is re-injected back into the affected area. At first he was skeptical and the upfront cost was substantial but this option far outweighed long term medication. After two treatments, he is extremely happy to advise that he is 95% pain free and now able to lift and carry out his work duties normally. Amazing technology and so grateful to Dr Zia for having the knowledge to assist patients with chronic pain. 100% recommend further investigation if you are in this same position as my husband was.

Negative experience: Why bother making an appointment online when you are waiting for 70+ mins & still waiting... absolutely ridiculous...ok 5 months later...this is my second post...made booking at 2pm & now it's 3.45pm & still not in there...once again this is absolutely ridiculous...got out at 4.25pm and the only saving grace was a good doctor but it's not right that he was the only doctor on a Sunday and was swamped with patients...

Negative experience: Doesn't even deserve one star. Poor service. Was waiting for a whole hour for my appointment and they took other patients in instead. Completely missing my appointment all together and then refused to take me in until the next available slot. Absalutly appalling and not happy with this experience. Happens every time I come here.
