From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities, which are always clean and well-maintained. Fantastic experience: There are a few things that play a big part in making up a successful gym. I find that these can not only help keep you around as a member for longer; but also provide the motivation you may need for your next workout. I’ve been to many gym's in the past. I find that if you don't want to be there, it's easier just not to go. Which in the long run, defeats your fitness goals. In a nutshell, what makes a successful gym: 1. Cleanliness. 2. State of its equipments. 3. Staff. 4. Gym Culture. I've been a member at a few gyms across Melbourne and personally I’d regard Proraw as the only gym that's not only achieved all these measures at a high level but they are very consistent in ensuring its always kept at the high level. Credit to the team who've achieved a strong culture and fantastic reputation for many years.

Fantastic experience: If you’re serious about lifting and getting fit, this is your place. Top of the line equipment and very knowledgeable. The manager Sam was great to deal with and the Physio sorted my back in 1-2 sessions. Never had a drama since. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Its a great gym and the equipment is second to none. Its has everything a powerlifter needs in order to succeed. Comp bars, plates, monos and IPF approved racks. Heaps of comp spec benches as well as many squat racks. It's a huge win.

Positive experience: Probably the best powerlifting gym in Melbourne - when it comes to power bars, platforms, competition benches and monoliths, this gym has calibrated plates for days. However, as good as the powerlifting section is, the rest of the equipment are lacking - especially since the gym is extremely small. Be prepared to constantly wait for machines or do different variations. Other than that, the community feel for this gym is one of the best I've seen.

Positive experience: Great equipment but the worst if you want to put your head down and focus on your workout. I was interrupted multiple times even with my headphones in. The owners try to be friendly but it just made me super uncomfortable on a couple of different occasions, and in one instance really embarrassed after I said no 3 times to the offer from one of them making someone else get my weights for me, but he still made the person go get them anyway! I usually love a social gym (when I’m not mid-set) and have been to many powerlifting ones across Melbourne, but in the 10 years I’ve been doing this, I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a gym. Only good part was the equipment and the really lovely girl working at the front desk who signed me up.

Fantastic experience: There was hiccup in their billing system and their owner Emad promptly contacted to resolve the issue. The issue is being resolved now.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing training session at prorawgym today. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Was well worth the 40 minute drive to get there. So you bet we will do it again. They have all top of the line equipment. Place is kept so clean and tidy. It's crazy to see all the weights where they should be at a commercial gym these days. Even with all the great equipment, platforms, machines, cryo therapy room, the amazing Andrew Lock working out of there... They still have plans to expand and add more. Plus, the toilets are actually clean! So yes, check it out and hopefully will be taking a few friends with us the next time we visit! And a special thank you to the lovely staff who looked after us and made us feel like part of the family.
