Negative experience: Pretty weird for business owners to message someone from their personal accounts instead of contacting that person from their company that the comment/post was made on/from.

Negative experience: Unreasonable prices for $20 a week and a 1 month lock in contract to quit while also paying the weekly fee or pay $80 upfront to quit. And you would think that after closing the gym for 2 weeks to "renovate it" that they would upgrade the machines that have looked like they've been there for like a decade. But no, they kept the old ones, threw some away and didn't even get any new machines, just made the place an eyesore and removed the one way windows so people outside can peep into the gym while you're working out.

Negative experience: Dakota is unreasonable and disrespectful. Anytime fitness advertised the membership has access to more than 3000 clubs worldwide and I used this club a while ago but joined from elsewhere. This guy accused me didn’t pay for the membership (to this club) and had to transfer payment to here then threaten to either get my bank details or had my keyfob locked. Had to contact the headquarters to get this resolved. Absolutely disgusting management. Stay away from this business and go elsewhere. Edit: as per your reply I have attached some of the emails here. I am not going to upload every emails here and continue the argument.

Positive experience: For $25 a week you'd think they'd have proper Aircon and paper towels to clean the machine but apparently not

As a newbie I was quite nervous but after a run through of the machines with one of the staff members and my free pt session my confidence is much better! Highly recommend :D

Negative experience: This is the most shambolic, mismanaged gym I have ever encountered. Management and staff are disconcerting and difficult to deal with. They are gormless, with an immense lack of intelligence and are a total and utter nightmare to deal with when it comes to money matters and DD. I do not recommend this business (If this is what they class themselves as) and I have taken my business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Average layout and facilities in the Anytime Fitness chain. Crowded almost every working day. Limited space for ground work/ stretching. Also, many members tend to superset workouts at peak hours, using 2-3 pieces of equipment, without consideration for others. Not a social gym by any means…in, workout, out. Kinda tense environment, imo. Positives are the staff and the range of equipment available, when you can use them. Update: it’s gotten worst - peak hour today and members super setting…and don’t wish to share equipment. Complained to two staff in the office and they had no idea how to intervene. This place is the worst location in the Anytime Fitness chain - it’s operated like a kindergarten gym no gym etiquette and piss poor management of complaints.

Positive experience: The facilities are great and clean. One thing to be aware of though is their 30 day cancellation policy. After injuring myself I went to cancel my account but instead they put it on hold due to still being in contract. I did let them know that I wanted the contract ended at the end of the policy (3 months before end of contract), also emailed before the end of my contract again, then rang the day of cancellation to confirm exiting the contract. Only to be told that I had to come in and sign to close and then there is a 30 cancellation period where you still have to pay. Just a last ditch money grab. Great experience in till this poorly handled part of the contract.

Fantastic experience: Amazing fully equipped gym, everything you need, I was nervous to come in and join but I walked out of there excited to do my first workout! The beautiful team made the sign up process so easy and now I come everyday and love it! Highly recommend Anytime Fitness Gym to anyone!

If I ever move back down here I will re join at anytime fitness Australind! ⭐️ 10/10 from me ⭐️

Negative experience: After a car accident and injuring myself I decided to cancel my membership. 3 week of trying to get through on the phone, multiple messages left, multiple emails sent. No response. I go in there and the attitude I got once I said I wanted to cancel was discussing.

Negative experience: How has there not been a class action against Anytime Fitness yet?!The amount of people that have told be about the Treendale franchise breaching contract and over charging them is criminal! Don’t believe me? Google search ‘Anytime Fitness reviews Australia’ and you’ll be quite shocked at how unethical this organisation is.  You hear about these stories but you only truely believe them when it happens to yourself and you see it first hand. Myself and my partner recently went into the treendale franchise to seek more information regarding a gym membership as there minimal information online. We were asked to pay upfront payments before even signing a contract! The contract was an electronic form of contract and “conveniently” was not working. After finally getting sent the contract via email we noticed a number of unfair terms stated throughout and made the choice not to enter into this agreement for this reason in conjunction with not enjoying the atmosphere and lack of equipment. We contacted the franchise 6 days later (within the cooling off period stated in the contract) and advised them we will not be signing the contract and we would please like our money back. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and condescending and instead of being proactive and doing her job just sighed the entire time and said “no you can’t get your money back because you can’t just change your mind” -even though there was no contract in place. On top of this the the business continued to charge weekly direct debit payments (unauthorised) and made excuses as to why they cannot refund these payments.Moral of the story: please please PLEASE do your research and speak to other people before joining/ signing anything!

Positive experience: Anytime fitness is an excellent gym to join. This particular gym is clean and has good equipment. I did have an issue that the staff contacted me quickly about and rectified the issue-which is the reason for the edited review.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, friendly staff, well maintained equipment. Love the 24 hour aspect. Feel very safe going there late at night. Asked to have my account frozen when I was recovering from surgery, little hiccup getting it reinstated but was rectified quickly.

Negative experience: As I had an accident I asked them(Australind Branch) to freeze my account for 3 months. After freezing the account, following month they have charged me. I rang and asked them to rectify it but no respond from them and they are not ready to do it. Seems to be they don't care about the members they just care about the money. Great customer service.
