Growlife Medical Sherwood

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Grow Medical Sherwood for several years and have had great experiences with all the staff/ the whole team. I would particularly like to mention how helpful and welcoming Katrina has been when interacting with the clinic.

Negative experience: my original dr, dr sindhu is amazing, can't fault her and is Hayley the reception!!! Today I had the most terrible experience ever with growlife medical. Rude receptionist (Katrina I think her name was). Will in future refuse to speak to her will request who ever else is on The dr couldn't email my script, instead it printed telling me it's not her fault... umm.. never had this issue before. where she asked if I could go in. I wouldnt do telehealth if I could go in.... Absolutely shocking. I will never see another dr there other then my original GP and if I call up and it's not Hayley or Paula I will hang up! It was that bad, I'm thinking about moving to Canossa over Sherwood. Terrible experience. there is more to this, but it's private so I wish to keep it that way. Absolute shocking experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Margaret Wojcicki has been absolutely amazing, I have been quite a complex case and Dr Margaret has gone above and beyond for me and I couldn't be more grateful for her services. I honestly wouldn't know what I would have done if it wasn't for her. So just wanted to say thank you

Fantastic experience: The best of the best Doctors ! Not only do they speak English but also listened to me . Reception staff way better than the usual . Very healing peaceful atmosphere. They know how to fill out the correct DVA forms . It’s not easy to find Drs that will deal with DVA. I am planning to live to 180 just to annoy Department of Veterans Affairs . So I needed good Doctors. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Sadly, my good doctor of 30 years retired, and after a false start or two, I was referred to the youngish Dr Aaron Chambers at Growlife Medical. He is patient and comprehensive, up with the latest, but at the same time with empathy and care. Dr Chambers will see me out! My dealings with other staff at Growlife has been nothing but positive.

Fantastic experience: Very professional yet friendly practice. Dr Alison Holmes has been my doctor for several years now. I have always found Alison to be extremely competent, approachable, compassionate and caring.

Fantastic experience: All of the doctors here are great. The reception staff are always welcoming and the nurses are great too. Nurse Fallon was so quick my little one didn't even notice her flu shot! There is often some appointments available at the beginning or end of day for on the day visits.

We’ve been able to utilise GP’s, nurses Fallon and Tara, Midwife Allison, Lactation Consultant Sam and the ladies on reception like Hayley and Kat make my family feel welcomed, every time. We love being a part of the GrowLife community.

Fantastic experience: My mum receives exceptional care at Growlife Medical Sherwood. They are committed to continuity of care and coordinate well with other HCP. In particular, we cannot recommend Dr Wojcicki , aka "Dr Maggie" highly enough. Mum has complex care needs and the ever patient, caring Dr Maggie attends to her routine and urgent care needs in a thoroughly professional way.

Fantastic experience: I have the same Dr 4 over 15 years. She has always bin there 4 me. I used 2 live much closer, but I now live in Slacks Creek nr Logan. Even when I can't drive any more I will still continue 2 go 2 her. She also looks after babies n young children. Dr Liz, ur the best!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have always had the best of care at this surgery. Staff are polite and very helpful, accomodating our needs at all times. All the doctors we have experienced have been attentive and thorough. The range of services on offer are comprehensive and suited to our health needs.

Negative experience: Recent experience with my toddler was not a positive one. Although claims to bulk bill, I was charged $150 for a 20 min consultation of which nothing was administered, prescribed or otherwise. Absolute waste of time, money and energy and on top of that they couldn't claim my Medicare so I had to do that too. The Dr was polite enough, however it seemed obvious she didn't want any more patients. Will NEVER go back or recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Leila and Dr Sindhu are by far my most favourite doctors with their understanding caring and very compassionate approach, my girls and I have grown very close to these two lovely Drs over the years they have always gone above and beyond for us.. I also want to Thank receptionist Hayley for her on going support, caring and very understanding ways when speaking with myself on the phone and in person you’re truly amazing. I have had nothing but the most amazing experience with Grow. As a medical receptionist myself your clinics are just so amazing to come to.

For your compassion with my two little boys, every time they see you they are so happy, which as you know, isn’t always the mood of a sick little one! For taking the time to really listen to your patients and to be very thorough in your examinations and for always fitting us in when you can! Fantastic experience: Dr McFerrin is of the "old school" where she gives you the time and listens. Her advice is always sound and her manner very reassuring. She runs on time - usually unless something unexpected comes up. Staff at the front counter are polite and friendly which is a bonus.

I can honestly say that her approach has redefined what family medicine should be. She understands us as a family unit and how our health fits into that. She is thorough, knowledgeable and just ‘gets’ motherhood. She has helped me through what I think have been the most challenging years yet…navigating early parenthood. I highly recommend her and the grow medical team.

Negative experience: My 75 year old mother presents at the surgery with a head wound after a fall to be told the Doctors won’t see her to even examine the wound as they are going home for the day. The motivation for this centre is clear - money not care.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Elizabeth Hay today at GrowLife and it was such a positive experience. The staff are so kind and professional and Dr Hay was incredibly thorough, empathetic and attentive. First appointment after having moved from interstate and I'm so glad I chose this practice!

Positive experience: My doctor was inadvertently detained and was unable to see me at the appointed time meaning that I needed to leave the surgery before seeing her. What impressed me was that before I arrived home the surgery had been in touch to reschedule the appointment. Even more impressive is that the general practitioner herself telephoned shortly after to apologize and explain why she had been unable to see me at the appointed time.

My doctor is absolutely splendid and caring and has given me more support than I have ever had in a Medical Clinic. Fantastic experience: I take all my children to see Dr Liz Hay, she is the best GP and most caring I have ever met. As long as Dr Haye is at Growlife Sherwood it will be our Dr Surgery.

Fantastic experience: Have been with this clinic for nearly 10 years. Can’t speak highly enough of the warm front staff and the amazing Drs. Ive been wonderfully looked after for both my pregnancies, one being a twin pregnancy and also the aftercare and developing PND. The Drs take great care to listen and Ive never feel rushed. A clinic that takes great care of everyone. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is such a holistic medical centre and I can’t recommend them highly enough. I discovered Growlife after our baby was born and decided to switch to this practice because of the wonderful support we’ve received. I have seen the IBCLC, Dr’s who specialise in baby sleep, attended the parents group and had appointments with a number of GP’s. Every single professional we’ve interacted with has been kind and compassionate and provided exceptional service; they’ve gone above and beyond so many times. Some factors that make them stand out are: the way they collaborate with you towards your goals, their family orientation and that they recommend research based interventions.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hay is awesome. A compassionate, understanding doctor with a wealth of medical knowledge. What more could you want? I should add the reception staff are also excellent - helpful and friendly. It is a stressful job, yet I have found them considerably more helpful than at many other practices I’ve attended.

Fantastic experience: I cried a little after my appointment. The doctor was so understanding and sympathetic about everything. He ordered tests that I've been begging for from my previous GPs for years and is willing to do a referral to a specialist without a fight. He actively listened to me and I cannot describe how incredible it was. I'm a very "fix the problem, not just treat the symptoms" kind of person and he completely gets it. Will happily rave about Dr Day to anyone that asks.

We are so glad to have found our regular GP practice.
