Negative experience: Staff not the friendliest... disappointing

Negative experience: The coffee served is not like what it used to be. When I asked why it cost $6, I was told that there is now an extra charge for skim milk. I won't be buying my coffee there again. In addition, filtered water is no longer available on the counter top.

Negative experience: Staff are rude and unwelcoming. Would suggest wearing cloths better suited to the job. Female owner is nasty and should employ professionals, not bratty young girls in skimpy attire and no customer service skills. Fresh produce is always rotten and not good quality. Ive been there a few times over the past few years hoping it would improve. It has not.

Fantastic experience: Good range. Sorry about scathing before. I was a little intoxicated and annoyed at the time. I shouldn’t have said that.

Positive experience: Love this store and LOVE the fact that they give you points when you purchase items. As I am a regular customer there, this means that every once in a while I will be surprised with free ingredients for a lovely organic dinner - I could not ask for much more than that. HOWEVER… One thing I could ask for, after being a regular customer there for the past nine months, is a friendly smile when you walk in. Neither the older lady nor the young staff members ever smile or acknowledge you and - here’s the really funny thing - each time you go up to the check-out with your items they will ask you “Are you a member?” Umm, yes, I’m a member. You know I’m a member and after nine months of shopping here almost daily, I’m pretty sure you even know my name Why not just say hello and address me by my name? Would work wonders for your customer service appeal!

Negative experience: Was doing some shopping here and I watched the older gentleman who owns the establishment drop a case of nuts on the ground and scoop it back up into the container walk it out the back and had one of the girls bring it back out and put it on the shelf ;) nice guys I see what you did there

Positive experience: I love this shop as it has great stock. However, I always leave feeling like I was not welcome. The staff do not smile or say hello when you walk in. Feels like it might be a toxic workplace or something.

Fantastic experience: Went for 1 specific item and browsed around as actually never been to a organic product store b4. Brilliant, purchased some items as in peppermint bark, gluten free Kids cookies, choc sultanas and choc peanuts and OMG delish and will definitely go back and try morning tea there as Cafe looks great and serves Byron Bay coffee and sweet treats and rolls etc look very appetising so that's a future morning outing when not rushing as was a quick trip today. Fresh organic fruit & vegetables available, meats and quite a variety of chilled products. Expected prices to be high yhan reg items( non organic) from reg shops but was quite surprised at actual prices and like I said will definitely return and pay for really good quality items. Will add photos next visit as will be sitting and testing Cafe out.

Positive experience: Use to love this place but can't stand the head banging music. It's a health store not a rave party. Poor service vary rarely do you get someone asking if you need assistance.

Negative experience: I saw the organic store when approaching JB Hifi, and I was tempted to have brunch after shopping next door. Suddenly, there was a kind of accident as I’m heavily pregnant and in urgent of using the restroom. Unfortunately, all the staff in Jb Hifi was occupied, and I couldn’t find the way to the WC, which needs a key and is shared between these two stores. So I went into the cafe and asked for help, but a tall, long-haired woman in her mid-twenties, refused to help me find the WC with such an unpleasant attitude, telling me to go back to Jb Hifi and ask for help instead of asking her. But I thicken my skin to ask anyway because I can’t hold any longer. She unavoidably gave me the key and instructions. I returned to the cafe to return the key and wanted to order a drink in favour of lending the WC key. But her attitude wasn’t any nicer. I still grabbed a big drink bottle and told her I didn’t need the drink but to pay for lending the WC key. Seriously, I’m disappointed and, of course, didn’t get brunch there. I just thought she could have won a big score for customer service from me and turned it into a profit for the store by offering a genuine attitude, which everyone can easily provide to anyone for non-profit, but unfortunately, it became a loss. What a shame, as the store already has good products but can’t afford to get genuine staff to represent and align with the product quality.

Negative experience: We have been enjoying the chai and yummy food here for a while however there is one consistency - sadly the service could do with some attention… multiple times they have forgotten a part of my order and I’ve had to wait then re ask politely where it is to at times be given no apology for now a cool drink and then a rush crumpled toasted bread be slammed into a takeaway box to be told “your going to eat it anyway” Just a sad service more often than not. Please maybe a refresher on customer service and manners and a better system when someone orders and getting a whole order at the same time. I get it drinks may be sooner or later but forgetting parts of our order nearly every time. And we only order maybe 2 or 3 things at a time. Going to try elsewhere and may come back in a few months and see if it’s improved by then. Just be aware of this when you go.

Positive experience: We used to come here to eat our special avocado toasted sandwiches and they used to be nice and have lots of avocados and lately they hardly put any avocados on it, very disappointing.

Negative experience: We purchased the large produce box. All the produce was boarder rotten, we got a pineapple which was the size of an orange. I won’t ever shop from there ever again and I definitely let my friends n family just how dodgy this place is. They clearly don’t value there customers to send this kind of food out to them. I regret that I only have photos of the zucchini that was already badly rotten and not eatable.

Positive experience: Fantastic shop. With the gym a few doors down I'd suggest staying open until at least 7pm. The gym is packed at 6 and I reckon there's a lot of potential in hungry gym peeps looking for a good nutritious dinner.

Fantastic experience: The shop has a lot of options to choose for quality food, the Byron bay coffee beans are the best (orange package) the strawberry with lemon ice lolly is the best. Mark point: just in case that you want to try something from South America look for the plantains chips

Positive experience: I have found since I have been visiting the store over the years since it has been opened that it has improved in terms of helpfulness and friendliness. There is a reasonable range of vegan choices and I like to be able to buy the amount of 'nooch' I want in environmentally friendly way. However, I was disappointed that Dilectico cheese had gone but I do love Fine Cultures, so on balance I haven't really lost out. I find the smoothies a bit addictive!

Fantastic experience: Can't get enough of the Berry Blast smoothie! Highly recommend these guys for great food and refreshing drinks

Positive experience: I visit the store every now and then. During my last visit, I was asked if I was a member at the payment counter. I said No and there was mention or invitation of how I can be one. Does the company really care about retaining or creating repeat customers? The lady at the counter wasn’t that enthusiastic with her service.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a quick look and came out with a trolley full. There were simply too many goodies I just couldn't resist. From bulk foods, fresh produce, eco pantry and bathroom products, so many vegan friendly, gluten free items, homewares and even garden seeds, I just couldnt help myself. I simply had to peruse every product they've put great thought into stocking. I haven't tried the scrumptious looking goodies in their cafe yet, but I plan to be back very soon now that I know it's just around the corner! Watch for pics soon.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic store! The selection of bulk goods is really impressive (try their amazing tea blends!), the quality is great and the prices are really competitive too. I was also really impressed by their online store and the click & collect option. Everyone is really helpful too. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I was served today by an employee without a mask who then went on to prepare my food order without a mask. This was a mere hours before we entered a hard lockdown because of the delta strain in Brisbane. Even if you have a medical exemption and can't wear a mask you should not be serving customers and making their food. Very disappointed. I was going to ask that a masked employee made my food but I did not want conflict. The smoothie was ok.

Fantastic experience: So impressed with the service! This isn't my usual health food store, but it will be from now on. The woman I spoke to on the phone was wonderful, so happy to help. Product is fantastic and service was really quick. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Great place for a coffee and to do some shopping. Lots of options for organic and naturally made products, and fresh produce. Adjacent to a large car park. Friendly and helpful staff.

Negative experience: Firstly just want to say that I think this store has a great range of products and I have always been satisfied with my orders. Having said that, I have visited this store at least a dozen times and almost every single encounter I have had with the staff has been extremely negative. There is a handful of staff members that are apathetic, and quite rude to me when I go up to order. Quite a few times the staff have never called out my order so I am left standing there with surrounding customers wondering if the drink I have ordered is for me or not. Last week when I asked the cashier for a PB protein smoothie, he asked the girl at the drink station showed visible frustration that I had ordered that particular drink. Extremely unprofessional ..

Fantastic experience: Love Kiah organics because they have a large range of everyday items plus some unusual, less common items. Staff are happy to help you when you need/want it but leave you to wander around and check out their stock at your own leisure if that's what you want.

Fantastic experience: I run a business down the road and have done for years but this weekend was the first time my wife and I have visited the store. As soon as we stepped inside we were met with smiles and a hello. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and the epitome of customer service. as someone who has worked in the industry for 20 years I was incredibly impressed with how your staff conducted themselves and felt the need to leave a review as I own a business myself. Although we didn't browse the selection for long from what I saw it was very extensive. We ordered avocado toast and bruschetta and coffees. For the price portions were good and so very delicious.. fresh tasting produce that I saw a staff taking tomato and avocado straight off the shelf so you know you are getting the best and freshest stuff. Coffee was excellent, blend is strong but not overpowering. Girl that served us is lovely (forget name) she not only offered us free tasting of the kombucha they have but also gave us a coffee card and brought food and drink out to us. I will be recommending to my friends and be returning next weekend.

Negative experience: Felt very uncomfortable, staff were very rude and kept following me around and popping their head into the aisles. When I asked them a question they were very rude and didn’t even say anything just pointed. Visited a couple of times and each time the staff get worse. The female staff member with workout clothes on was the main one being rude but also the guy behind the counter. Would not recommend to anyone, there are so many better stores that specialise in similar product that have much better customer service.

Negative experience: Went to get take away coffee and muffin. The server dropped my order and spilled some of the coffee. Instead of offering a new coffee she goes "let me check if it needs a topup" after checking she decided that it doesn't and picked up a dirty old cleaning cloth and starts to wipe the cap. I adked her to change the cap and she argues that the cap is fine after being cleaned with that dirty counter cleaning cloth. Hope you guys can train your staff on such situations When you run an organic food business, we expect it to be clean and healthy. AND NOT HAVING TO TEACH YOUR STAFF ABOUT FOOD SAFETY. 1 star because muffin was good.

Fantastic experience: Love, Love, Love Highly recommend this place! When I came in all of the staff behind the counter welcomed me and made me feel immediately comfortable. I had a beautiful iced coffee and had a nice time looking through the store. I was approached several times and asked if I needed help, this was a welcomed change from other stores I’ve been to. I’ll be going here as often as I can, if not for the great products but for the wonderful staff. Thanks also to who ever made the coffee, you deserve a promotion. ☕️

Negative experience: I’m not usually one to complain, but the past visits I have made to Kiah Organics have been quite uncomfortable and negative so I thought it was necessary to share. While the range is great, I have found the staff to be so rude and extremely stand-offish. So much so, that the atmosphere for me is extremely negative and even tense. Each time I have tried to engage with the staff at the checkouts they just glare at me and say nothing aside from the outstanding balance on the items. It’s extremely offputting. I always leave feeling good about what I have bought, but overwhelmingly awful about the experience. Sadly, I don’t think I will return nor will I recommend this store to others which is a real shame.

Negative experience: Hot tip for Kiah customers. Head down to IGA at Greenslopes and check out the massive vegan range down there. You won’t have to deal with the rude staff at Kiah.

Positive experience: Nice organic products. They offer bulk products. Still have to get my bread from organic cafes as their bread is not as good as the one in bakery and packed in plastic.

Positive experience: Good range of foods for such a small shop. Cover organisation as well as products for people avoiding various foods, like lactose, gluten, sugar, pesticides and so on. Bulk food range is also decent and well priced. They also offer a well stocked fresh food, organic meats, pre cooked meals, milks and body products. They run a cafe, with fresh food, at the front. One star off for horrible coffee. I threw it out. Prices on a lot of things are high, but this is common for this type of product. The market is too small.

Negative experience: Went in and from first entering the store 2 young girls at the counter just stared at me with attitude and made coughing sounds which made me feel super uncomfortable to ever go back. Super bad customer service from the young girls on the Wednesday arvo shift.

Negative experience: Workers rude and laughing when coming into spend money , I greeted them and nothing , (not my job) more giggles when leaving store , maybe owners shouldn't hire bratty kids to save money and stick with mature staff what understand great customer service means repeat buisness , disgusting will be going to wrays from now on .
