Fantastic experience: I wanted to share my experience with colonic care, which significantly helped me feel relaxed. As a fruitarian, I had been dealing with bloating issues caused by candida fungal infections. During the procedure, I observed these issues firsthand. My subsequent research revealed that candida can be exacerbated by consuming starchy, complex sugar foods. Conversely, natural fruit sugars do not encourage candida growth. To address this, I realized that undertaking a parasite and fungal detox was necessary. I am deeply grateful to Sue for her assistance, as I wouldn't have discovered the presence of candida without her help.

Fantastic experience: I have visited 2 other treatment centers for colonic irrigation over the last 2 years. By far, Colonic Care in Cheltenham, is beyond amazing. As I returned back to my routine of taking care of myself, I attended CC thinking I knew what I was doing, the benefits etc. However the staff at CC educated me on things I didn’t know and I was very grateful to get the most out of this important hydrotherapy treatment. I’m very thankful to the staff for filling my knowledge gap. I feel like I’m going to get so much more out of this routine third time around. As I walked into the clinic, it was so easy to access. Parking was a breeze. The place is so well lit and most importantly it’s extremely clean. The staff are very well educated in the service they provide. They’re friendly and warm so you don’t feel awkward about it at all. They just make it easy and dignified. I couldn’t recommend this clinic more. I’m so happy it’s close to home but if it wasn’t, it’s definitely worth the drive.

Fantastic experience: I had my first series of colonics and felt very much so that I was in good hands. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, staff were accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend.

Positive experience: I work as a healthcare professional - not in CAM (contemporary/alternative medicine) I was severely constipated and had the urge to need to flush out my pipes after a few months of terrible bowel movements. Colonic care offered a personalised service, that was warm and compassionate for a first timer/beginner. I was sceptical but it is a private and relaxing space. The process is controlled by you and what you can handle each session. You feel extremely cared for, for the duration of your visit. The level of service and care is second to none. I can't fault the ladies for their attentiveness with heat packs, a drink and anything else they think might help you out. I am already feeling immensely better, in addition to regular stool softening medication. Would I do this long term? Probably not, but it's been a great experience and I've done 2 sessions, with one to go. I'd definitely consider coming in quarterly for a self-care activity. I will say this however: there is a lot of vague uninformative talk regarding parasites etc. that needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Most of this information is not evidence-based claims and it worries me a little that the staff are pushing 'anti-parasite protocols' without tangible information to read or support. Word of mouth claims of parasites laying eggs, crawling into you from public toilets and inhabiting your GI tract would absolutely successfully spook those in the community who aren't well informed regarding health literacy and the science behind parasite transmission, symptoms, diagnosis and high risk environments. These claims shouldn't just be told to every customer through the door without actual evidence to support it or a diagnosis on the spot. If GI parasites were an actual public health concern in the community currently, action would be being taken to ensure it was being dealt with. If you are genuinely worried about parasites, it would be best to consult your doctors for appropriate testing via stool samples and serology, before doing weeks or months of self prescribed worm tablets & chocolates. Lastly, this is rarely mentioned by those working within CAM but herbal and ''natural' plant derived medicines are still medicines. They are not without their own side effects, risks and ability to cause their own toxicities. Just because they are naturally sourced, they can still impact your body and health with long term use in the same way conventional medicines can. To summarise, this is a lovely caring establishment that clearly care about its clients holistically. I would just say, please be well informed and do your own research before saying yes to additional products and services. Thanks for reading my TED talk

Fantastic experience: I’d had colonic irrigation 12 years ago when I lived overseas. I really benefited from it & felt I was in need of some cleaning out. Unfortunately the place I found left me disappointed & not satisfied. It has taken me another 3 years to build up the courage to do give it another try. I found Colonic care, I read all the articles and reviews then booked in. When I arrived, Nada greeted me, we talked for an hour ( it seemed like) before going into a cubicle. She walked me through everything, she was patient, reassuring &accepting. I felt nurtured & cared for. My time whizzed by, I felt my chronic constipation was finally getting resolved. I don’t have the bloating & heaviness of before and my mood is actually lifting. Thanks lovely staff at Colonic Care

Negative experience: Had a session here and it was very invasive, inappropriate, misleading, uncomfortable and unprofessional. They won't leave the room until they have seen and know that you have pushed Infront of them frist. I was advised that meat takes 3 Months to digest, which is a misleading, false myth. I asked if meat takes 3 Months to digest where is it sitting, what are we actually passing to which the lady said we pass what the parasites pass. My tummy was really sore during the session. I told the lady and she said "just do it you have to do it, I can smell the toxins, you're too young to have so many toxins" I was given medical advice on my own personal medication I am currently taking, telling me to get off of it, which is iligle given their practice does not warrant this type of medical advice. This centre also tries to push really hard to sell products and sessions. I received an incentivised email the next day which states: "leave us 5 star review and we will put you in a draw to win a FREE VACATION ACCOMMODATION VOUCHER." "Leave us a review on both platforms and we will give you two entries into the prize draw. Winners will be notified by text message and email." Which I'm fairly certain you can't incentivise reviews this way. Lastly they say they disinfect everything but I'm surprised they don't have a plastic sheet or covering over the bed you lie on. I had a friend do a session here as well and they said it stopped working 3 times. No refund was offered. Won't be coming back. Don't recommend. Seems scamish.
