Negative experience: I went there because I was in a lot of eye pain and Dr Nader Molavi advised me to look for recommendations “online” and explained what I had making me feeling stupid. Never going back to that doctor again. Terrible doctor.
Negative experience: They will tell you the time and when you will arrive at ur time they will tell you to wait. I was given time of 3:30 pm even though I called at 2 pm. But still I waited for an hour sitting on the chair and having severe pain. Please avoid. Their staff don’t even know why they gave 3:30 pm time when doctors aren’t available at that time.

They Could not even write a proper letter recommending a specialist, worthless people. Waste of time .they make us wait for hours even after taking an appointment prior. And they gave appointment at 3:50 and when I was there at 3:55 they refused too see me , as the nurse finishes at 4. Then why the hell they didn't inform it and gave at last minute. Fantastic experience: I have visited this hospital twice for my children's immunizations—once for my newborn's first-month shots and again for the four-month immunization. Both times, I had an excellent experience. The staff was very professional, and the doctors were thorough and attentive. They made sure my wife and kids were comfortable and answered all our questions. I appreciate the care and attention they provided. Highly recommend this hospital for pediatric services!

Fantastic experience: It was my first time to go to this medical center. I had good experience. I went on Sunday. It doesn’t take me so long to wait. The reception girl was very friendly and helpful. I should have thanked her and given her compliments to her face. I regret that I didn’t do it. The doctor I saw today was great as well. I guess he is Dawood Issa. I will consider to go again and make this as my regular Medicare place.

Negative experience: Been going here since it has opened & I have never been so disappointed I am so sick and booked a phone appointment waited over 5hours I called to ask if the dr was calling me they said he won’t be to much longer he finally calls me I answer straight away & he hangs up with no call back i immediately called the practice waiting 20min I was on hold. Definitely won’t be going there unless absalutely necessary.
Fantastic experience: Always a very good experience. I love all the girls on the reception and All the Doctors are amazing. I moved from Punchbowl but still go there. As this medical team treats me as family. Dr Issa and Dr Islam are amazing. More than half of the illness goes away as they care like a family member.I know Krishna for longest time. She is so efficient and so are all other girls.
Negative experience: They simply don't want to work. I came to take an appointment, I live 5 minutes away and they told me that I am out of area.
Negative experience: Completelly empty on arrival, but the receptionist refuses to let me in as "doctors are fully booked for today." Avoid at all costs if you are for small things like prescriptions.

Fantastic experience: I really like this Medical Centre. Dr Dawood Issa is a very compassionate Doctor and my daughter, 6 years old, also likes seeing him. The online booking system works well And is easy to use.
Negative experience: Krishna the Manager is not a people person. Is incompetent in modern technology( especiallywhen dealing with external health practices) rude and intrusive. Hangs up on customers complains about customers paperwork constantly when it's the doctor who does it. The rest of the staff are friendly, competent and professional. One of the other staff members should be the Manager, they are fantastic. I'm sure many have had similar frustrating experiences with her. If this is the only way the Practice will listen, unfortunately I was given no choice. I've worked in customer service for 30+ years, it's demoralising for the team when a Manager gets away with ongoing negative and unprofessional behaviour because no one listens to clients or colleagues complaints.

Negative experience: Hello all - this review is about another patient (not myself). I also had negative experiences at this practice in the past - but I'd prefer not to do a review about those. A patient of the centre, aged 76 is in very bad condition, in severe pain, hardly able to walk; she has deteriorated a lot in recent years - is now frail and not feeling good. Her doctor recommended surgery and pain pills; she is not interested in either. My request, is PLEASE, just 'cos patient doesn't want surgery (which poses risks due to her age - aneasthetic could be dangerous), please use some focus, mental clarity / compassion and offer her other options ie motorised scooter to assist her with mobility, and more aged care. All that means is some easy paperwork by doctor. Would love to see some good old fashioned service / doctor efficiency; we will all get old and we need to take care of our elderly. Thank you so much for reading; there IS room for improvement and better training for doctors ... ie social / communication / interpersonal skills.

Negative experience: I met the rudest doctor in my life - Dr Alam. He interrupted me while I tried to explain what happened and how I felt, and tried to finish the sesh when it was not even 5 mins in. His accent is so strong that I struggled to understand what he said. When I politely asked him to repeat or tried to verify information I got from him (because I simply can’t understand his broken English) he seemed every impatient and upset. The receptionist was also rude. There is no basic respect for people at this medical centre, good luck coming here

Negative experience: I have no clue why after so many complaints and bad reviews Dr Zahidul Alam is still working here. He is by far the worst doctor I have met. I went for my three year old son's consultation. He was extremely rude and condescending from the moment I sat down. He was rude to me, my son and very harsh when measuring his temperature. He is the worst thing that has happened to this clinic. Other doctors, nurses and the staff is quite friendly. He is the reason people avoid this clinic ( I have asked around). This clinic would be better off without him. Rude, obnoxious and downright cruel doctors have no business working with sick people. He caused me and my son significant emotional distress. I will definitely report him to higher authorities because it is clear that after all these reviews he is not correcting his behavior.
Negative experience: Worst Drs ever, reception staff are swearing, Drs are so rude and arrogant. Told me they can’t do anything for me as they shut at 5pm but they still take appointments for 5pm. Dr Shirazul Islam didn’t even speak to me until I spoke to him and then he wouldn’t listen to my concerns. Absolutely hopeless. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
Negative experience: Terrible doctors who only care about making money. Saw Doctor Scarr for about 6 months who never remembered my name or face even though I came in regularly. Would badmouth the pathology and reception staff for "Not being able to speak english" and "being useless". Saw Doctor Islam instead because seeing Dr Scarr was causing me a lot of anxiety. I had a panic attack in the surgery because I was waiting for over 1 hr to be seen and after that Dr Islam refused to see me again because he didn't want to deal with my mental health issues even for a medical certificate. Although every doctor has a right to refuse treatment if they aren't confident to treat someone, all doctors should be adequately trained to provide basic mental health services and referrals. Dr Islam's incompetence and discrimination against people with mental health issues is the problem here. I literally just have anxiety and panic attacks in social settings, I don't have any complex mental health conditions. I feel bad for the reception and support staff who have to deal with such unprofessionalism. Glad I'm moving away and no longer have to deal with these doctors.
Negative experience: Worst service and worst doctor I have ever come across. Doesn't want to talk properly nor wants to know what is wrong with the patient. If you are planning to visit this place make sure you are intreat for the worst day of your life as your illness will only get worse.

Negative experience: My mum has been coming here for years now. She's a regular patient at this practice however I've noticed that Dr Islam's attitude and arrogance has gotten to the stage where I can no longer keep my mouth shut. The way he has spoken to my mum on several occasions I really do not appreciate it. First of all it's not my mother's fault if her pharmacy or whoever it is keeps making mistakes with her medications. Dr Islam comes across as rude and condensing. My mum has complained to me that he has said some nasty things to her and I've now witnessed what she means. Being a doctor means you have a heart of compassion and kindness for those who are sick and need help not to be rude and condensing. It's time people have some manners and respect others. Absolutely appalling and I won't keep quiet about it. Everyone would stick up for their loved ones.

Negative experience: The doctor I saw at this place the day before yesterday, Dr Shirazul Islam, was without doubt the worst doctor I've ever visited in my life (I'm 65 years old). Although I had an appointment time of 3.30pm I had to wait about half an hour before I was seen to but that happens at many medical centres and doctor's surgeries. The area around my right shoulder was VERY sore but all this doctor did was ask me to lift my right arm then said I'll need an ultrasound. Fair enough. But he was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I work as a sub-contractor/courier and I was told by my operations manager that I'll need a medical certificate so I can claim time off work through a private accident fund all couriers from my company have to pay into. But this doctor Islam refused to give me one. I told him it's not WorkCover or worker's compensation it's just a private insurance fund that we all have to pay into every week but he still refused. I asked him if he could at least just type me a report to say that I'd visited this medical centre today with a very sore shoulder area and he still refused. Why? Who knows? All he did was print me a referral for an ultrasound but when I tried to make an appointment for it yesterday I was told by the woman at the pathology place I rang that there was insufficient information on the referral to be bulk billed for the ultrasound. So I had to see another doctor at another medical centre yesterday to get a decent referral and go through it all over again. What a complete waste of a day. This was my first visit to Punchbowl Family Health Care Medical Centre and will probably be my last. I don't know what any of the other doctors are like, and the place itself is OK, just don't see this doctor Islam.

I found last time Dr Nizam who has very analytical and explanation skills regarding the patient issue. Negative experience: I visited the Punchbowl medical center on 24.05.2022 and saw one of the doctors at 2:30pm. After explaining that I was having a terrible sore throat, headache and the obvious blisters around my mouth, the doctor didn’t even take the time to as much as explain what the situation was to me. I guess because he was busy looking at his phone, he didn’t see the need to talk. The whole session wrapped up in less than 3 minutes with a prescription for Amoxil and Capacaine. It’s been several hours now and I’ve not felt a bit of relief, not even from the common headache (I had to ask him what I’ll use for the headache before he mentioned Panadol, this was after writing the prescription). To make matters worse, the bottle of the Cepacaine liquid clearly states “do not use this product for severe sore throat”. I feel completely unattended to and unheard. Worst of all, my pain has doubled within the 24hrs of being there.
