Negative experience: I took my partner to see Dr Kavitha Jayachakaran and she was the worse doctor I’ve met. He was in a motorbike accident and injured himself. She took it so lightly and communicated as though it didn’t seem like a big issue. He told her he was experiencing pain and she told us to come back in a few days if the pain is still there without doing anything about it immediately. Waste of time and money seeing a so called “medical professional” like her. Don’t come here!

Negative experience: Worst medical centre in South Australia I have been , I book appointment for 3pm with dr kavitha jayachakaran but I reach there 2.50 pm , but she don’t call me upto 3.50 pm . I go to reception (worst receptionist) to ask when doctor will see me but she trying to be funny and can’t explain anything and finally come home without see doctor. I think even doctor was not in her room . Never visit this medical centre .

Fantastic experience: It's a great experience. The receptionist was helpful. My doctor, Dr Tri, has been looking after me and my family very well for years. She had done all the checks, took time to answer my questions, and had given me good advice for my health. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Negative experience: I had a teleconsult booked for 11am, when I hadn't heard anything at 1.15pm I assumed they were very busy and called asking how much longer the queue would be. I was told that I was next in line and that the doctor would ring me in 5-10 minutes. As I was very unwell I fell asleep and when I awoke to see the time was 2.30 and there were no calls, I was not happy in the slightest. I rang again and once again I was told the doctor had apologised and said I was next and they would be with me in 10 minutes. This time I stayed awake and when there was still no call at 3pm I rang a final time and complained. The doctor finally got back to me and insinuated that patients in the waiting room are prioritised because "phone consults are usually online for script refills so the people aren't in a rush" which was not my case, I was too unwell to leave my bed, much less make it to the clinic. The doctor also then attempted to blame the receptionist by stating the receptionist had not informed her I was waiting and she had only heard 15 minutes prior, which means either the doctor is lying about not being aware or the receptionist is lying about informing the doctor. Regardless having to wait 4 hours for a 5 minute consult is ridiculous and phone consults should be treated as any other appointment and upheld in as much of a timely manner as possible. I understand waiting for a bit, even up to an hour, I understand doctors clinics are busy. But 4 hours simply disgusting and disrespectful

Fantastic experience: I haven't had a regular doctor for over 4 years since moving from a different area and Im not a big fan of going to the dr generally. I used to be a patient of this clinic when I previously lived in the area quite some time ago and Dr Pat was my Dr but she's not there anymore. I saw Dr Tri today and she was not only extremely thorough but also super friendly and it shows that she really cares about her patients. I felt very at ease with her and that I was in the best possible hands for medical treatment. Their receptionist was super friendly and welcoming also.

Negative experience: Worst receptionists. They always fail to explain their patients about the fee structure. I mean this is the crucial routine duty they are supposed to perform. Being a new patient, I did not knew that I have to pay even for just getting injected yet, instead of explaining or communicating decently, they misbehaved with me, treated me with utterly disrespect and rudeness. She rudely questioned my English (indirectly imposed that my English is bad as I am a person of colour). Literally, felt like the two of them were bullying me as they were laughing and rolling eyes even when I was at front. They were expecting me to remember about how much the appointment fees is, also, they did not even communicate properly. The lady chased me down the car park. Also, threatened to cancel my next appointment- she discriminated me against my own rights as a patient. How shameless one can be. This is racial harassment. They are hopelessly sad. Already I am not feeling a 100% health-wise. Moreover, their inhumanity caused me stress and mental pressure. Disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: Have been coming here for a few months now and it is the best clinic I have been to so far in Adelaide! I’ve seen a few drs here as they all specialise in different things, and I always feel heard in my concerns and comfortable. The drs are respectful and thorough, also the girls at the front desk are fantastic. They are super friendly, welcoming and never make you feel bad if you need to change things around!

Fantastic experience: Unlike most of other clinics, our appointment was on time and receptionist was helpful. Doctors are very experienced and staff are professional. I have seen some clinics charge $1 for disposable mask but Montague Farm Medical Centre offers it for free. I would highly recommend this medical centre.

Negative experience: I should have read these reviews like "they even never listen to patient" - that's exactly true. I visited Melbourne with my friend and few days later we got some spots and it looks like really bedbug's. I told this to Dr. Kiru and he said "I don't know it's from bedbug or allegy, I'll just give you prescription for anti-allegy pills" even the track was 100% bedbug's( I don't have any allegy in my life). I thought he dr would be right, so I asked to give a prescription for ointment for bedbug's bite too, but he never listen to my word and only told me to visit again if I didn't get better. He should find what it is and that's why I came to clinic! If not, I could just buy allergy medicine at the pharmacy. And further more he was exactly like "Few days ago I saw a man has the same symptom, do you know him?" What??? Who is he?? Is that real word doctor can say? If I know him what would change? I'm totally disappointed for his clinic. Don't want to come here again.

Negative experience: I reached in there early 15 minutes before my appointment time but i had to wait for almost an hour to see with GP. There was not too busy in the clinic.

DR PAT was a wonderful Doctor & now I have another wonderful Doctor Kavita very understanding and kind .

Fantastic experience: Our GP was Dr. Pat in Montague farm medical centre who always took care of our whole family. Currently Dr. Kavitha, Dr. Evinta, Dr. Niran also do offer great care whenever needed. (Havent been to other doctors but I am sure they are great too)

Negative experience: Went in for chest pain, ongoing over few months breathless. Mentioned i think it's lung related. Doctor didn't even listen to my heart/lungs didn't check my blood pressure or pulse just tapped away at computer and said I need to go to Ed wrote a letter for Ed doctor. Said with my family history etc etc best to get it ruled out as heart or clot., at least then we will know I'm going to live past the next week ! If she doesn't refer me.... it's lots of paperwork. I felt like just a number in the computer not a human being. When I got to hospital I had arrhythmia and hypertension heart and clot ruled out but pain is worsening. Thankfully it's nothing serious I was made to feel very anxious and worried only so she didn't miss a serious problem and have too much paperwork.will not be going back there. No follow up call or anything.

Positive experience: Was able to make an appointment in very short notice but when I was in the room with the doctor. I noticed blood stains on the patient bed and rubbish bin overflowed. Please raise your cleanliness standard.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly. Waiting time only 10 mnts later than the actual appointment which was better than other clinics where we had to wait for over 30 mnts. Dr. Evinta Leena is a lovely doctor. She is very thorough and went beyond extra for her patients. My daughter has seen many doctors for ezcema. Dr. Leena gave her us strategies to maintain the flare up and suggested many things that we were not aware before after months of using steroid cream. She is one of the best I have seen. Will definitely come back
