Fantastic experience: My appointment happened on time. Communication with the doctor I came to see was great and I left getting exactly the kind of advice and support I came for. I felt listened to and understood.

Fantastic experience: Positive experience with a Dr. who listens and is thorough, followed by bloods taken by a nurse who new his business and found the vein and took bloods quickly and made me feel at ease. Being a retired nurse myself I can be “picky” but I cannot fault the Dr. or staff here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen multiple doctors here and pathology for years as well as several across Newcastle and this is by far my favourite spot in consistent kindness, support and treatment. There’s a self sign in which usually makes it super quick. Everything is super streamlined and clearly communicated, and I’ve never waited very long (in relation to the normal medical waiting game). The reception staff are so so lovely, I have always felt reassured and supported in every interaction with everyone working here! And the doctors are incredibly kind, and knowledgeable, they take the time to listen and talk through concerns with you. Pathology staff are seriously fantastic, every visit I’m at ease with friendly chat and jokes. You all are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Warm friendly staff, very minimal wait time, if any, as the pre-consult questionnaire really helps to streamline the consult. The doctors are genuinely interested in people’s health and well-being. I always leave feeling properly cared for.

Fantastic experience: This is honestly the best doctors surgery I’ve ever been to. The bedside manner and genuine time the doctors and nurses dedicate to listening and validating you is such a positive experience. I’ve been coming here for years and the practice is also evidently very LBGTQIA+ friendly. Shoutout to Dr Fisher, Dr Watkins and the wonderful man in pathology who does my bloods and was leaving at the end of the day and came back to treat me. You guys are great

Fantastic experience: Dr Cook has changed my life. I have been a patient of hers for almost 10 years and have always been in great hands. She has picked up on autoimmune issues that no other Dr had identified due to her care and attentiveness.

Fantastic experience: The staff are so lovely! My doctor was even lovelier. I had to get needles for blood but I am scared of needles. Mitchell/ Michael was so incredibly friendly, he doesn’t treat patients as what number they have and go by the numbers. His really kind and friendly. He really made me feel calm and relaxed.

Fantastic experience: I love visiting this little centre, I have been going here for a few years now and found the care and service given by staff, nurses and Dr's has always been a pleasant experience.. The Dr’s always listen to your concerns & formulate a treatment plan that works. Also, having Clinilabs on site is another no brainer as for why patients come here. With a wholistic approach, promoting wellness, not illness.

Fantastic experience: The doctors actually care and take the effort to treat their patients not just get them through. The doctors are thorough and want to treat the cause not just the symptoms. In a largely self centred world i find the staff at this practice actually care from the front office to the back of house. Cannot fault the practice.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at this practice for nearly 9+ years and both my children attend here. After being a month late on an account that I rang and explained why (just had a baby and there was an issue with my maternity leave payment) I was humiliated when I rang for an appointment to be told I was banned, I was quite upset on the phone and told management said it’s final sorry. After DV and many other issues, you would think a medical centre would be about consistency of care towards their patients. I’m deeply sadly and humiliated at the way they have treated me.

Fantastic experience: I'm always more than satisfied with dr Miranda Cook when I see her. It's getting harder than ever to get an appointment with her which makes it really hard , alot of the times it's impossible if you need her on the day but I guess it shows just how popular she is. Everyone's opinion can differ from your idea of urgent so that's my only problem, if I need to see or talk to her and you need to wait a week it can get frustrating. Miranda herself is a great dr and I'm glad to have her

Fantastic experience: A truly helpful staff, regardless of their speciality are there with smiles for their patient. Drs who care ready to advise and ease problems and pain. A safe haven.

Negative experience: This practice is all about money, My partner suffers from acute anxiety and depression, he missed an appointment because he was unwell. Not realising he had. They charged him a 50 dollar fee for missing the appointment which he didn't pay. When he needed to see his doctor he was told he'd been banned from the practice because he owed them $50. No appreciation for someone suffering an illness that leaves you completely debilitated. Such a money hungry business.

Positive experience: Efficient and friendly service. The waiting room was almost empty and I was seen promptly.

Negative experience: Impossible to get in, expensive and the reception lack common sense. After introducing myself, waited over 45 minutes. Asked about the wait. They'd forgotten to sign me in. Lied to me and said they rang me. If you're sick, value your time and money, go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Dr Katie is wonderful, she is so thorough. Always putting you at ease. Katie actively listens and explains things clearly. The hard thing is getting an appointment as she is so good. Harry (the nurse) was very patient and helpful. Office staff were friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Miranda Cook at Mayfield Medical Connection for many years now and find Dr Cook is always very thorough and I always feel comfortable discussing any issue with her. I've also visited a couple of other Dr's there when needed and they were great as well. The staff at the clinic are always super organised and pleasant to deal with.

Fantastic experience: Excellent doctors. Sometimes getting a quick appointment can be impossible, but that's what happens with good doctors. Sometimes referrals or letters need to be chased up with reception staff, as they don't get sent. I have moved out if area, but still come to MMC. I'm not looking to change doctors!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been aligned with the MMC for well over 10 years, firstly with my mother who couldn’t speak highly enough of the Doctor. As soon as there was a spot I got on his list. Since COVID, things have markedly changed, but the same professionalism is evident across the entire service…..

Fantastic experience: My GP and the staff of MMC are to be commended for their overall performance- my GP is always supportive, deeply wise, caring and respectful. The admin staff are competent, caring and polite. Today I was so impressed by the gentleman that took my bloods. His calm demeanour and genuine attention and care were gratefully appreciated.
