Negative experience: Second and last time I’ve tried this practice and had a horrible experience. The first time I had severely injured my foot and was told it’s because I’m not used to being on my feet despite there being obvious bruising and swelling. This time I have had flu like symptoms for over 3 months that I can’t get rid of and just needed antibiotics. Was told to take vitamin c and ‘actually’ exercise while she smirked. I explained my tonsils have been covered in pus and swollen the last few days but she told me they were fine despite me using my own iPhone torch to show her. I was nice and told her I wasn’t trying to be argumentative but I’ve been taking supplements and tried everything for months can I please just try antibiotics. She cut me off and rudely said she was tired and not in the mood to argue and finally gave me a script. I’ve tried 2 different doctors here and both times found them to be incredibly rude, condescending and judgemental.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment online for a specific time, arriving 10 minutes early as a courtesy. However, after waiting the initial 10 minutes, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes before being seen. During the wait, I approached the receptionist to inquire if everything was alright with the doctor, indicating a need for better time management from the practice. Once in the consultation, however, the doctor was highly knowledgeable and thorough, showing genuine curiosity and interest in my symptoms and medical history. While the wait was frustrating, the quality of care once received was commendable. The practice should consider improving their scheduling to better match appointment times.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointing Experience – No Compassion or Options I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this medical centre when I called for an emergency appointment for my 12-year-old son, who was in severe ear pain. I explained the situation, emphasizing that it was urgent and that my child needed to be seen as soon as possible. However, the receptionist was unhelpful and unsympathetic, only responding with, “I’m afraid we are fully booked.” There was no attempt to offer any alternative options, or even show any concern for my child's condition. I repeatedly asked if there was any chance of seeing a doctor, but was just told to wait with no further assistance. It’s appalling how little care was shown in an emergency situation. As a parent, I expected better treatment, especially when my child was in distress.

Negative experience: I visited Asquith Doctors in Asquith at 6 PM on Tuesday. Their working hours are advertised as being until 8 PM, yet the reception did not open the door and repeatedly stated, "We are closed." I was not there to see a doctor but simply to follow up on a previous request they have failed to complete for several months. I am very dissatisfied with this service. It is highly disrespectful of my time to make the effort to go there, only to receive no response and find the door closed two hours before their official closing time.

Fantastic experience: They have best doctors in the north area of Sydney. Especially Dr Daphne Ye.

Negative experience: My husband and I have been here for three times. Everytime we come here 15 minutes before the booking time and wait for at least 1 hour. I don’t know if we always come here and wait, what is the meaning of booking the time on the website. This time we come for our newborn baby, and waited for 1 hour again. And my baby can’t wait for this long time cuz she needs to be fed every 2 hours. Anyways we definitely won’t come again.

Negative experience: Was the worst experience I’ve ever had seeing a doctor.she did not listen to me or care about what was wrong with me.I ended up just leaving as it was a whole waist of time and carried on too Hornsby Hospital where I received the services I needed . Asquith Doctors is not a place I’d refer anyone. Go anywhere else but Asquith Doctors,please!

Negative experience: Terrible! Would not recommend this place. Go to Hornsby, tons of far better practices available. We had a horrible experience with one of their doctors named Thu Han. He was extremely impatient and almost hurt our baby while examining him.

Fantastic experience: I had a very lovely experience at Asquith Doctors. Got booked in over a phone call with Parmes, who was very efficient with booking me in ASAP. I then saw Dr Jayasinghe who was very understanding and polite. Asquith doctors will be my new family practice!! 10/10

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Asquith Doctors enough! The entire team is incredibly professional and caring. We recently visited with my daughter, Hannah, who was experiencing stomach pain. Dr. Xin Ye was absolutely amazing. She took the time to understand Hannah's symptoms and provide a thorough diagnosis. Her compassionate approach made us feel completely at ease. Negative experience: Just waited for over 45 minutes for my appointment. When I queried how long the doctor would be at 3:25 (after already waiting 40 minutes) one receptionist told me I’m third in the queue and the other said I will be next. The doctor then comes out and takes in a patient that booked 30 minutes after me. What’s the point of booking appointment times when your receptionists don’t put you in waiting when you arrive? I was on time for my 2:45PM appointment, but was evidently never put in waiting until I queried after already having waited 40 minutes. No admission of it being the fault of the receptionist either. Disappointing.

The reception staff is always helpful, and Dr. Gayani, our family GP, is consistently kind and attentive to our needs. She provides excellent consultations and has been instrumental in managing my son's severe asthma. We feel really fortunate to have found this place.

Negative experience: Concerned. The nurse didn’t clean the injecting site thoroughly prior to vaccinating. That was the only concern I had at Asquith medical centre. Hope they checked all the equipment for vaccination. Thanks

The doctor was excellent, thorough and friendly. The receptionist was really efficient and helpful. I didn’t use these services but there is a physiotherapist and Pathology on site too. Negative experience: I saw Dr Athapattu and his whole push was about transferring my records to his practice on our first appointment even though I told him I wanted to know the quality of the doctors before I made the decision to transfer my files I felt that he would not take me at my word for my personal health history and refused to prescribe a legitimate medication that I have been taking for over 10 years because it came from a compounding pharmacy. I even offered to have blood tests so he could check my thyroid levels along with the script but he still refused and wanted me to spend 100,s of $ more on seeing an endocrinologist to get a medication that I have been successful using for years without the need for or assistance of an expensive endocrinologist. He had the Hyde to tell me that “maybe I didn’t need the medication” so what was he trying to say, because I get a script from a compounding pharmacy it’s not a real medicine and my diagnosis must be all in my mind . I am just beyond annoyed right now that “a professional “ would say that to a patient. So as far as caring for your customer goes in my mind he would prefer me to have no medication and for all my symptoms to return and risk the co morbidities that come along with untreated low thyroid levels, one of those being depression, rather than prescribe a legitimate medication from a compounding pharmacy that is regulated by law in Australia and if he had listened to his patient, it works very effectively for her symptoms If I could have given 0 stars I would have

Fantastic experience: To Asquith Doctors, This is my fist time visit to your Medical Clinic in Asquith. Firstly, I congratulate your Reception Staff with their excellent care to the patients and especially the new patients. Your location is very convenient to the patients because it is right next to the railway line which facilitates patients without a transport. I am Dr. Ye's patient and she is a super Doctor, always has time for her patients. I normally visit her in the Wetherill Park Clinic but Dr. Ye caring professionalism has won the hearts of my whole family. Thank you for having me in such short notice.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service from Daphne at this clinic. Asked to come early for a night appointment & accommodated this as I was only around the corner, it was clear as to why as she didn’t want to be there. Rude, couldn’t even get my name right, Unable to resolve simple diagnoses & just said come back monday to see a nurse no apology no comment just simply rudeness. No care or passion for her job or service.

Negative experience: As already mentioned by few other people "Dr" Alan Woo is incompetent, unprofessional and rude with lack of empathy and knowledge. Doesn't deserve his title. He can't even diognose simple infection without having CPR tests and let me walk out in pain with no antibiotics even though it's against the NSW guidelines to delay treatment. Another GP next day gave me antibiotics immediately while waiting for tests results. Formal complaint sent to NSW Health commission.

Fantastic experience: New to the area. I stopped going to the Drs are they knew less about me when it came to experimental gene therapy all those years ago, though had to go here for a (historical) sick cert. I was able to book via the web, show up and wait no more than a few mins for a Dr that came on time, if not early. Great service, great staff! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: My 1y4m child had very high temperature at 6:30pm, I visited two medical centres and they don’t accept new patients after 5pm. Then I called Asquith Doctor to try if they are available. The reception was very kind. She booked an appointment for my son and we met the doctor in 20 minutes. The doctor is very professional. Very good experience there!

Negative experience: My review pertains to my recent visit with a sick 7-year-old suffering from ear pain and inflammation on the 10/11/2023 at 7:20pm. Dr.Marsha Maaref's refusal to attend to the child (as per the receptionist) without giving a reason for that combined with a noticeable lack of empathy, raises significant concerns about her suitability as a healthcare provider. This incident highlights the immediate necessity for the medical centre to reassess their protocols ensuring that individuals displaying such a blatant disregard for patient well-being do not persist in practicing medicine. In my view, she falls short of deserving the title of a doctor let alone being referred to as one.

Negative experience: As a patient only for COVID-19 vaccines, but received SMS reminder for this year's flu vaccine. Booked through HotDoc and filled the required consent form. When I arrived for the flu vaccine, the girl on reception desk asked my name and my health condition. Then she told me that I needed to pay $26 for the vaccine in which it actually is free for OZ over 65. I asked why, she replied that "you are 55 and need to pay the fee". Really shocked for such error by assigned me to a completely different patient without confirming. Once told her my name again, she looked like did nothing wrong but all my fault - I said sorry for dealing with such irresponsible medical receptionist. With such a terrible experience, should I come back for future vaccine?
